Happened to find my violin exam pieces online.. i was listening to it and thinking of the times... practising hard every week... getting nervous every now and then... the hard times i've gone thru.. actually there were a lot of difficulties faced when i was preparing to go for the grade 8 practical... in fact i was VERY lucky to actually pass the exam. cos i made uncountable mistakes during the exam itself...
That period was very near to promos... and i have to take all the risk to take exam for that year. Well... i was the one who requested that i take the exam that very year... it really was quite scary lah... plus i was preparing to take erhu grading later in the year as well... i dunno how did i juggle... quite amazing... well.. maybe that explains why i didn't really do well in my studies. =x
Maybe i should put aside more time for practising my instrus yet again... for personal improvements. Think my parents will be happy to hear that.. but i think i will forgo private lessons for the time being. there are just too many things to be taken care of lah.. Ok.. That's all! need to sleep now.

Leap Year is here.
I realised... yet again.. i haven't been updating my blog. haha!
Maybe i should just talk abt wed since the other days were quite routine. Anyway... went for finance class as usual... surprised to see only 4 ppl in class thou i was late for abt 30mins! cos i was stubborn enough to wait for bus 67 to come.. that's why. =P Then a few more came a bit later lor... and that's all for the morning!
Went back to ny with von... wanted to eat the fishball noodle.. OK! Actually we wanted to look for mr bong, and shun bian eat in school... BUT! the fishball noodle no more already! become what malay food... dotx. and so.. the canteen has changed quite a bit since we left... but at least our fav fruits store is still there... prices remains but quantity becomes lesser. haix. no choice also ba..
Anyway... had quite a long talk with him over lunch.. thou we were the only ones eating... had to settle with chicken rice.. and it's now more ex as well... what's with the school?? Ok.. anyway... he claims that he had read my blog be4... i dunno how many things he had read so far... haha! It's a bit of wonder where he got the time to go google search for blogs also lah. haha! I tried to turn it around saying i dun have one... but he could say out the characteristics of my blog. SO i reckon he really visited be4.. tsk tsk.. so i guess from now on i better mind my words... Haha! Then chatted with the bookshop auntie also... so nice of her to still rmb us lah... afterall... we patronise her shop pretty often yea... haha.
After that went to bishan to shop shop... haven't been there for the longest time... i think ever since we grad... i haven't been there... or at least not that i rmb of. Our fav food happened to be still there.. and we were reminiscencing (if there's such a word) abt the place and what we always do there... we ended up in Swensons for some ice-cream. haha! I think we really did a lot of rubbish stuff last time... but i think we are quite disciplined also as to studying tgt after school in Mos, coffee bean, school lib, amk lib, or any other place u can think of. haha.
Went back school to look for the sy ppl to go SCH. Yup.. had sectionals at night. i think it was not bad lah.. but felt that time passed rather fast for that particular session. Hopefully next week's combine will be ok! :)
And so.. wed is deemed the best weekday of this week. becos the weekend has yet to come. hee.
ANYWAY. On this special occasion of 29 Feb every 4 years.. I would like to wish my dearest senior and friend HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I know i wished u le lah... but nan de mah... then 4 years then got once.. so i should say 4 times altogether... haha! still got 2 more to go i think? or that day our celebration counted as one? hee.

Botak and HideOut Cafe
I'm VERY TIRED. i dunno why. in fact i just woke up from my nap abt 20min ago. =x Watching tv didn't keep me awake.. haha.
Anyway... ytd was almost a whole day out... after finish watching 赌场风云 in the morning... met the beloveds at Botak Jones... was as usual very full... and didn't finish. was very curious how did i finish the botak burger set the last time. hmmm....
So ya... walked to blk 84's HideOut Cafe.. u might not believe it.. but we stayed there from 3pm right up to 10pm... Played a no. of different games... and some... VERY tiring. like will sweat that kind.. but i think it was fun! Started out with a i-dunno-what-name game... similar to a game i used to play with my cousins with poker... just that it's a cuter version with animals. I think next was Saboteur... really fun game... Guesstures （比手画脚） was fun too... just that the version that they have is the Bible version... and there are a lot of holy terms which we dun possibly know... but still quite interesting game. Jurassic Jumble is like chaotic... haha! we didn't know how noisy we were until the other grp which is half the size of our grp was playing the game. hee. Played pictionary for a while and i have to admit that my drawing really sucks! haha! The last game for the day be4 we cut the bday cake was the werewolf (murderer similar) game.... it is very fun actually... the only troublesome part is that u need a narrator. played a lot more but can't really rmb the names. haha!
Stayed ard and chat and chill after the cake-cutting.. i think we are all tired already... so took some photos with some of them be4 we really leave the place... It's really very nice of the staff to let us stay there for so long. I'd probably go back there again! :) And i realised that sometimes a big grp can do a lot of things tgt too! :)
The best thing was... some of us still went for supper at 85 market after that... sit there and chatted until 11.45pm then we decided to call it a day. heex.
Lastly!!! I hope yushi will like the 'poster' we made for her... will upload the photos soon!! The present dun need to say.. sure good de hor? haha! And then... hope ling will recover soon too! And we will meet soon yea~ :)))

CO and 幸福言
Today (sat) was quite fun... went back to nyco again! :)))
Casper called me in the morning while i was on the bus and ask me if i'm awake already. DOTX. scolded him. haha. reached ny abt 11am. hee. originally i said i wanted to reach at 10.. but apparently i left my house at erm.. 10.15? =P At least i nv put aeroplane today ok. :) Played tian shan with them again.... trying to prac for my nusco prac after that lah. haha. didn't manage to hear them play the new song... perhaps next time lah. hee. Had lunch with casper and zhiwen be4 going to nus.
Reached nus quite early too.. be4 3pm at least. haha! And i went in be4 they started their practice! Err.. first time in the last few weeks. =x Anyway... i realised i have to prac more. haha! And i realised... actually they do not really need me there anyway... cos guest players are supposed to be very zai.... very this one here is quite lousy.. haix. so ya... i should prove my worth there... yeah.
Had dinner with a very small grp of ppl... had some laughter and weird discussions... somehow i just feel that there's nothing they can't share btwn the grp. and it was fun in a way... and that is what i enjoy being with the nusco ppl. :)

《恶作剧之吻》是我一直爱看的偶像剧。我真的很钦佩湘琴的毅力。他为了自己心爱的人可以付出那么多，那么多。虽然她很笨，但这种精神却让人感动! 我自问是没有她这么有恒心。她竟然能暗恋 （或者说是明恋) 一个人那么多年 （7年），而且是在对方又对她很冷淡的情况下还是那么坚持，真的很不容易。although i'm not as brave as her... i've tried very hard for my last crush for a rather long time too... afterall it didn't work out.. and maybe it's better becos i dunno if that is my 幸福。but no doubt i've stopped the 自己争取 spirit in me... not willing to find myself dropping into a 深渊again.

A bad day. the funeral.
Been very busy over the last few days.... presentation... essay and presentation..
Today isn't a good day... first.. i slept at 5.30am after finishing my essay... thinking that i should sleep for 2h and then wake up to do final checks and prepare for presentation. BUT. when i finally wake up after a sms from cw... it was 10.08am ALREADY! And guess what. my class starts at 10am! Like OMG. i was quite lost... so quickly grab my clothing to change, brush my teeth, grab my bag and out of the house i went... didn't even change into my contacts. dotx.
Anyway... that was not all... presentation actually was all right... just wasn't very happy with the fact that my lecturer was talking on the phone when i was presenting my precious 2 slides. dotx. i hope it is not going to be too bad... cos today i am rather confident. ok... nvm..
Actually the worst part of the day comes next. becos everyone carries a very heavy heart to a common place. some or most of my classmates were there with me, to send a friend off for the last time. It is hard not to feel sad even though we might not be the best friends in school. Like one of my classmates said.. he might not be the saint-est person in the world, and could be rather insane at times... he had brought laughter to us... and shared with us or at least, me, a lot of his past experience. Becos he re-joined school last sem is new to the class, i know he haven't been able to blend in too much. but i did remember the times we spent esp. during halloween last year. in fact i haven't been able to get those photos from him. This is coming so sudden to the whole class... we were struck by the fact and couldn't believe that it has happened becos some of them saw him the day be4. But well... i think we all got to accept this... that someone has left us forever. rest in peace my friend.

CNY visiting still.
Was reading thru this blog that has never been shown to anyone else except for a few ppl whom i think have long forgotten the existence of that blog... anyway the blog can't be found anywhere on search engines and whatever, and i haven't been updating since somewhere 2006 and i've changed the settings to 'only author can read'... and i'm the only author of the blog, so i'm the only person whom can read the entries.
Anyway.. the entries more or less covered my jc life... revolving this person that i think more or less influenced my decision of going to ny. it's quite a funny part of my life... cos nothing happened to us... or rather... we were staying in that school having a very awkward feeling towards each other. yet we had the most interaction time becos we were in the same cca. but i nv regretted going to ny lah.. cos there are still great friends to talk abt....
Just like ytd. met up with the clique for new year visiting... went to han's house for lunch.. gambled a bit... lost some money to han's mother... haix. (auntie 'cheated' our money) i think no one else won in her house. dotx! Then cabbed down to my house... Some continued to lose money and 1 person won the rest. ok.. yuhui and i recouped abit.. thou not enough to cover. Then to Von's house (for the first time.. so much abt best buddies yea). haha. recouped even more. still lost a bit.. i think a dollar or so... Quite long nv meet up with ALL of them liao lah... so made A LOT of noise. my sis says they really very noisy.. hahaha!
Yupx. Ppl can start volunteering their house for cny next year... i'll try to work out a nice timetable. lol! ok. just joking. but i'll be glad to visit all ur houses too.. provided u welcome me lah. heex!

Ex-SACCO
*AHEM* ATTENTION TO ALL EX-SACCO MEMBERS: SAC open hse on 1pm to 5pm on Sat, 1st March 08! I think each ticket is $5 (for charity purpose). Huishan (our sacco senior) is hoping that we could come together for a gathering in conjunction with the event.
If anyone of u see this.. just send me a msg to let me know if u can go and want to go.. ok? :)
She suggested a dinner after the thing in SAC. Anyway i think some of u might have heard about the school going to be renovated (or rebuild)... i not very sure which it is... so we could go back and take some pictures ard the school to keep as memories. Wonderful right?! :)))
Think i'll just forgo prac for a week.. HEE! =x

Mood after cny
Thou keep saying cny is very tiring... still when have to go back to school for class... the mood will really drop... sianx. haha! moreover.. only need to go for 2hrs... and that's it. Ok lah.. got meet be4 class for grp meeting.
Then come to think of it... assignments are piling up... one more week only!!! Dunno if i should be working next tues... and have syco on mon and wed nights as well... how ah?! very scared i cannot finish my stuff... and i dun want to pull my grp mates down lah... i want to be a worthy grp mate.. haha!
Work was so far so good... it's quite fun with more young ppl ard... not saying that uncle was not good... but i think the environment now is like better... brighter shop and everything... but i see something not so good coming... i.e. out of stock for redemption... dotx. but hopefully we wun end up like the shop opp.. having ppl standing outside and complaining VERY loudly! dotx.
Ok.. off i go.. bye.

CNY - 4 Days
Phew... finally have time to sit down and type something... It was really hectic to have CNY 4 days in a row... but come to think of it... when we dun get a long weekend... we will grumble... when we finally get a long weekend... we will also grumble. haha! It was really tiring lah!
Slept at 2am on the cny eve night.. and wake up 8am... started out our journey for the day... to san-jiu's house first, then to dua-gim's house... then back to my house.. then to sa-zim-bo's house, then to kor-po's house... and back to bedok.... doesn't sound a lot... but tiring... i think the most 'exciting' part was when we were leaving dua-gim's house for my house? All of us squeezed into san-yi's pick-up... like a total of 16 ppl?! Incredible lah... just that the vehicle really moved very slowly along the road... and the vehicle seems to be leaning back cos the back got more ppl. lol. But i always liked spending time with this grp of family... though there are always some ppl who should not be mentioned =x... there are very lovely ppl in the family also... and i really must say that i felt closer to this grp of ppl! :))) But i forgot to take pictures! hahaha. i'm really forgetful lately. =x
Then back to 138 for dinner... once again it's taking bus back alone from tiong bahru while the other 4 took cab back.... but i think this year isn't that bad cos there's new route... then at night at our house again... waited till abt 12am waiting for 2 families to come... but didn't come in the end... so waited until very tired.. and in the end still slept very late... dotx.
2nd day.. went 138 again for usual lunch with the BIG family. like really BIG. they counted. there were a abt 72 ppl in that 3 and half room flat... super jialat... cos really not enough space to let everyone sit down... so we had to stand around to just eat and watch tv. Used up abt half a day there... finally moved out of the house ard 2pm. Made 5 visits for the rest of the day... my father's cousin's house... then my father's uncle's house, then to my 6th uncle's house, then to 4th uncle's house... and lastly to my father's 3rd aunt's house... the very very big 3-storey house at east coast area... by the time we got home it was 11pm. i even watched the last epi of 东方之珠 at their house. haha.
3rd day i think was the most tiring day? Got of house at 8.30am... went to laoshi's house.. dropped at the wrong bus stop.. walked quite a distance be4 reaching... dotx. luckily we went early where the rest of the ppl not there yet... and so we have place to sit down.. talk to laoshi and his wife... and interact a bit with the children. first time seeing the 4 of them sitting tgt... lol.
Then moved on to circuit rd to my father's first aunt's house... her house very big also... and they so interesting... they have this family tree thing in the house... with all the pictures of the ppl in the family.. a good thing was... all her children were married with children... for this i think it's already a blessing for the family. :) And they are still expanding the family... and of cos.. updating the photos. i think the lim family should have one too! haha. Anyway these father's aunts are from his mother side... so they are the Pek (白) family. Cool right.
Then to kembangan to my mum's cousin's house... not really for visiting but the full month celebration for his son. then bian nian also lah... after lunch er-jie and i proceeded to boonlay (!!!) to jiahui's house for new year gathering with the nusco ppl... played a bit xbox... fav game. haha! i think play how many times also wun feel bored... just that hand will pain. haha! Then to Suyi's house for dinner... Steamboat lor! Be4 that... still got some time cos waiting for more ppl to come.. so played a bit mahjong... and watched them play Wii. really cool... After the dinner... sis got to rush off to airport to send her friend off to australia for study... so dropped me at aunt's house (my only aunt from father side) at kembangan (yes. again) haha. Stayed there till ard 11pm be4 we were sent back as well... dotx. really super tired by then... BUT!!! There's still the 4th day leh!
4th day... 10.30 like that leave home... to grandaunt's house... then to 8th uncle's house.. both at Pasir Ris... i think i haven't been to their houses for the past 2 years or something.. at least not last year... they started talking abt the past where my uncles all helped my grandmother to make all the new year goodies... sounds fun... and i believe those that they make will really be nice... After that went to 3rd uncle's house for lunch... they prepared the best food for cny... haha! Salmon, mashed potato, beef stew, fruit salad, and butter rice (although i dun like the raisins).
Finally it's really the long distance travel to 7th uncle house in Sembawang... they are really the only ppl who doesn't live in the east! but i like their house... so clean and empty.. i like their empty rooms! it's really a pity that they do not have children themselves. cos they are really a very nice couple... if they can give me one of their rooms... i will be more than happy lah! I think er-jie too.. haha!
Last stop... back to bendemeer to san-yi's house... treating us to restaurant... i think we were the last to reach... but be4 we left for dinner... played mahjong for a while... at first already playing on a lost from jiaqi's seat... but in the end only won the last round and at least won back my base. hee. Dinner at this famous fish head pot place at Rangoon Rd. Not bad lah... but was REALLY FULL... full until i also dunno how to say... bloated also lor... returned home and still feeling full till late at night.
Yups. so that's the very eventful weekend for cny. haha! Will update again soon.
Slept at 2am on the cny eve night.. and wake up 8am... started out our journey for the day... to san-jiu's house first, then to dua-gim's house... then back to my house.. then to sa-zim-bo's house, then to kor-po's house... and back to bedok.... doesn't sound a lot... but tiring... i think the most 'exciting' part was when we were leaving dua-gim's house for my house? All of us squeezed into san-yi's pick-up... like a total of 16 ppl?! Incredible lah... just that the vehicle really moved very slowly along the road... and the vehicle seems to be leaning back cos the back got more ppl. lol. But i always liked spending time with this grp of family... though there are always some ppl who should not be mentioned =x... there are very lovely ppl in the family also... and i really must say that i felt closer to this grp of ppl! :))) But i forgot to take pictures! hahaha. i'm really forgetful lately. =x
Then back to 138 for dinner... once again it's taking bus back alone from tiong bahru while the other 4 took cab back.... but i think this year isn't that bad cos there's new route... then at night at our house again... waited till abt 12am waiting for 2 families to come... but didn't come in the end... so waited until very tired.. and in the end still slept very late... dotx.
2nd day.. went 138 again for usual lunch with the BIG family. like really BIG. they counted. there were a abt 72 ppl in that 3 and half room flat... super jialat... cos really not enough space to let everyone sit down... so we had to stand around to just eat and watch tv. Used up abt half a day there... finally moved out of the house ard 2pm. Made 5 visits for the rest of the day... my father's cousin's house... then my father's uncle's house, then to my 6th uncle's house, then to 4th uncle's house... and lastly to my father's 3rd aunt's house... the very very big 3-storey house at east coast area... by the time we got home it was 11pm. i even watched the last epi of 东方之珠 at their house. haha.
3rd day i think was the most tiring day? Got of house at 8.30am... went to laoshi's house.. dropped at the wrong bus stop.. walked quite a distance be4 reaching... dotx. luckily we went early where the rest of the ppl not there yet... and so we have place to sit down.. talk to laoshi and his wife... and interact a bit with the children. first time seeing the 4 of them sitting tgt... lol.
Then moved on to circuit rd to my father's first aunt's house... her house very big also... and they so interesting... they have this family tree thing in the house... with all the pictures of the ppl in the family.. a good thing was... all her children were married with children... for this i think it's already a blessing for the family. :) And they are still expanding the family... and of cos.. updating the photos. i think the lim family should have one too! haha. Anyway these father's aunts are from his mother side... so they are the Pek (白) family. Cool right.

CNY eve.
Finally it's new year's eve.. worked for the past 2 days.. all right lah.. not too bad.. saw the manager ytd... the marketing manager i.e. sales not very good lor.. expected lah.. somemore now no more repair on the spot... repair income also not very sounding lor...
But anyways.. the good news is i dun need to work on the 3rd day of cny already! cos my mother complained.. haha. so yea... good for me... Hee. Eh... very tired liao... update again later..
[edit] 11.50pm: Wow... finally finished cleaning the floor... i think i only clean the floor once a year... haha! Anyway... had reunion dinner with the family just now.... as usual steamboat... Had a hearty dinner. :) Watched some lame movie at my uncle's house before coming back... so by the time it was already like 10.10... slack for a while and started cleaning... i took the 3 rooms and the living room while er-jie cleaned the kitchen...
CNY will start very soon... like another 5 mins or so... YEAH! Ok.. i dunno what am i so excited about... but i like visiting with my family... or rather.. the big family... cos it's the time everyone come tgt... ok... i need to bathe...

A few days to CNY.
Actually... i'm very tired... came online cos need to send something to via... so might as well do something before i really go sleep.. (already took a nap just now).
These few days i would be busier with work than school. =x Worked last fri, working tmr and tues... just happened that this week... it's the alternate monday that doesn't have lesson... and tues... no night class... so the only lesson this week... is Finance! and it's a combine class anyway... So hopefully i can do more shopping tmr (mon) or tues after work... actually i got all my clothes ready... what i lack are shoes... if i can't get any... then i guess i'll have to make do with the old ones lor. Or i hope that i can fit into the ones i'm receiving from my company. and hope i will receive them soon! (like on mon). hehe..
Ppl always say time flies... and it becomes a bit cliche... but then again... isn't it just so true? look... i thought we just stepped into 2008.. but one month is gone already! And feb finishes pretty fast... so in less than a month... or rather.. abt 3 weeks.. i have 2 ppt and 1 written assignment to complete! This is madness lah... esp. the written one cos i haven't have time to visit the museum yet. dotx!!! omg... i MUST find time to do it..
Anyway.. had steamboat with my some of my materal family members... wah... haven't seen one of my cousins for a very long time... had a really fun time eating and chatting with the 2 of them... it's a long time since the cousins all come tgt... i seriously think that we can click better! :) But it's ok... at least we will always spend the 1st day of cny tgt. more laughter to come with them! yeah. looking forward now. haha.
