The first NYCO Concert all these years. :) Really a happy occasion though there was a lot of unforeseen incidents.
A lot of mixed feelings for myself also. Think i'm the oldest on stage (excluding ding). And well, the only one from my batch. Looking at all my juniors, I'm rather proud of them actually. haha! I'm quite surprised that NYCO can produce this kind of sound and music. I like 大地回春. Nice song!
But i think next time we could really have a solely CO concert. Too much of gz. And i dun really like gz. haha! Too few combine items. :( Thus the alumus were really very free and have too much time in between items. Bonding with the other alumus. :)
And coincidentally we had at least one alumni from each batch. Cool. Me from 04, Julian 05, Mingkwang 06, Dominic, weijian and huifang 07, zhiwen and pauline 08. Wow. not bad. hahaha! Too bad the rest can't come. Exams period. :( But nvm, i hope we are having some alumni outing soon! I miss my people seriously!
And now that the concert is over, dun even know when is the next time i will go back to nyjc and meet the nyco ppl. *shrugs*

五月天!
17 April:
- Circle Line starts operation.
- Stadium station is packed with ppl.
- 2 Pop concerts going on at the same area. (S.H.E & Mayday)
- Watching a pop rock concert which looks like NDP sometimes. haha! (Fireworks damn cool, but too sudden most of the time)
- A very HIGH night. Thou nv jump ard and we seat very very far from the stage, still, enjoyed the show overall.
- They nv sing some of my fav songs of theirs. :( Like 而我知道, 倔強, 時光機, 牙關, 武裝, etc.
- But they sang 瘋狂世界, 天使, 知足, 你不是真正的快樂, 離開地球表面 and blah blah blah. Actually some i've nv heard before. Then i realised actually i know more of S.H.E's songs. haha!
- Luckily I brought raincoats to the event. Rain has stopped. BUT the seats are all wet (and dirty). haha. Raincoat is not used to cover the body but the seat so we could sit on it. haha. Ppl at Cat 1 are pretty saddening as the whole field is filled with mud due to the really heavy downpour earlier in the afternoon. (my shoes are one of the victims.. not at the stadium but outside ny) Sad cos the shoes are barely a month old at that time.

Pre-concert
Tmr's gonna be NYCO's concert.
Thinking of nyco. It's the place which i had the most memories in my jc life. We went to the coffee shop which i always go with the grp almost after every sat prac. We sat there for 2-3h talking and laughing... discussing abt school stuff, co stuff, and other funny things. But i dunno... the feelings of going to that coffee shop totally changed. haha
Anyway... nyco was the most uneasy time i had in ny too. haha! Cos of some personal reason. lol!
And then, the co room is so different from what it used to be. Dun have the same old feeling sitting in there or even, stepping in there. It's SO messy now! Dunno what they doing. Rubbish all over the floor, dusty floor. Everything lying around. Instruments here and there. Scores here and there. It used to be so neat during our time. tsk tsk tsk.

Via's Bday Celebration
Aiya... too many backlogs already. =x
Last sunday had a great time with the Beloveds... Traveled far to the west for fun and then to the north for food. Lol! :)
First to Science Centre. Went there for the Pixar Exhibition. There's quite a few interesting stuff there. The animations so cute. They wanted to steal the drawings back sia. lol! But no lah. crazy meh. In the end, though they say photography not allowed, but guess what, we saw a lot of ppl snapping away sia. Then we were thinking why we so obedient. So... Yup. :D
Spent quite some time there looking all the different stuff. The carousel damn cute lah. the idea behind the whole thing is damn cool. And the disc is spinning SO FAST! like wow! It was great invention.
Watched other short clips which were made at the earlier period. So cute lah! but can see last time the skills really not so good. heh.
Then 3plus. We all hungry liao. So went to mac for some food first. Nuggets and more nuggets! lol
Went back to visit other exhibits. The sound section. Some of the stuff quite interesting. Tried almost all ba.. Got this station where we have to listen to the sound and determine which speaker the sound came from. Got so many speakers so close tgt lor. Difficult. But could have done better. lol
Then another one was this telephone booth. Have to talk while listening to the telephone 'talk'. So it's call listening-while-talking. It's supposed to tell a joke. But damn difficult. cos u have to talk then the phone will 'talk' also. Once you stop, the phone also stop. So in the end, I also dunno what the joke is. haha!
Then there's this showcase of iron dust dancing to music. Damn cool and cute. Magnets are placed and the whole plate filled with iron dust. As the music played. The magnets are programmed in order to attract the iron dust at different speed, amount, angle and so on to form a 'dance'. It says that it takes 40h to cheorograph just 1min of dance. Like WOW!
Then went to the virus section. Quite interesting too. Teach us how the virus looks like and how it is spread blah blah blah. Quite a small area but informative. Just that, i didn't read all of it lah. haha.
After that also almost time le wor. Like so fast! So many exhibits not visited yet. Why last time school nv bring us to science centre more often? Because i fell down during the trip in sec 1? lol!
Ok lah.. then we traveled to AMK for crab beehoon. Had KOI!!! Hohoho. Good to kill our waiting time at the crab queue. By the time we finished all the drinks, haven't even reach our turn to be seated. lol.
I like the beehoon crab. Cos the meat soaked in the soup. Got very sweet taste. :D Other dishes are nice too... Just that really have to wait very long. lol. But worth it i think. A great dinner to end the day with the girls.

New things to do
I've gotten a new task just on fri. I was a bit shocked to hear from them so quickly. In the first place, i was quite surprised that the female boss talked to me for so long and i already believed that i will be given the job.
Anyway, not to keep you in further suspense, I'm going to teach violin in a music school. I think it might sound cool to some ppl, sounds cool to me too! Not until u hear the rest. Though the place is far (either yishun or west coast plaza), i don't find really find it a problem actually.
And so, I'm going to start next fri, or earlier if a make-up class for a student is required. Just 2 days ago i went down to observe the lesson which i will be taking over. 2 altogether, but 1 student didn't come, so i only saw 1. But trust me, it is almost enough to make me think of how i should teach her. According to her mother, she has some illness when she was younger, but all right, that wasn't really the problem. She is a little over active, plus very talkative. haha! She argued with the teacher regarding fingering!
From what the previous teacher said, she learned violin in school, probably went through a few teachers who teaches differently. She can't recognise the physical notes although she can play. (she can only recognise ABCD). So we double up as a theory teacher as well. She has quite an opinion of her own. So, we always complain our music lessons in school to be so boring. Now they let the students play different instrument. Yet, what is the disadvantage? They didn't even teach the students properly. I saw that she didn't even hold the bow properly. Oh, we have too much to complain. haha.
Ok. That was problem 1.
Then again, the other kid is quite similar as well. Playful and can even bargain what he wants to do in the lesson. Hmm.. What's wrong with kids nowadays really. I think the hard time is to discipline them and make them learn what they do not like.
Yup. That was problem 2.
With these 2 problems, it's a challenge already. I've nv taught anyone violin before. I hope i don't freak out when the lesson really starts. Then i thought why i was given these 2 students from the previous teacher. Reason? haha! I don't want to know anymore. Anyway, I don't call this work, i call this testing myself! Good luck to me!

A short rant
I'm all ready to complain share.. but where is the listener?
I'm been thinking abt this so many times. Do you ever have friends whom u are really disappointed with but do not know how to tell them?
This is not a place to say it. I already said it in my heart for so many times and i didn't have a solution for it. I don't need you to know who is it, but maybe take a look at yourself and ask if u have really been a friend. Not just to me, but others as well.
But well, those who aren't really friends wouldn't see this as well. So what's the point.
