Last few days of 2007!!

I'm blogging at somebody else's house... shall not mention the name cos she will proud. lol!! =x Ok lah.. at Zhiwen's house... haha.



Preparing and waiting for the new year to come...another one and half hour to go... but time is passing quite slowly... meanwhile... update abt the weekend ba...



Sat went singing with von and yuhui.... chek last min pang seh.. haha... then von left early to meet her whoever lor.... so in the end yuhui and i sing until very shuang cos they nv chase us out.... i think suntec kbox got too many empty rooms and too little ppl go there liao. lol! So i'm going there again tmr with nyco ppl.. heex. but that's at least another half a $50 gone. And that kbox increased their tibits price to 6++... when the stuff are still the same!!!!! DOTX.



Then sunday was a day out to malaysia... 泗弯岛.. with my family minus my dad... my er-jiu and wife... and melody and sylvia... The day was SO HOT! The best part of the trip was really the lunch.. ate a total of like 3 lobsters! LOL! =x I think i ate the most lobsters lor... and we were so lucky... so coincidentally my er-jiu's boss went there also! And he actually paid for our meal! actually quite paiseh lah cos we all also dunno each other... and we only know when we wanted to pay after the meal... we ordered quite a lot lor... oyster omelet, kangkong, fried mee, steam lobster, butter lobster! yeah! (i forgot still have what le).. OH! and boar's meat too... really nice! hahaha.



Went ard some homes and some shops to purchase biscuits and then back to sg... rested and slacked ard... started raining very heavily... luckily it stopped when i wanted to go out... supposed to watch movie with minhui, zhiwen and joel at 8plus... but someone couldn't make it to that timing... so went to zhiwen's house first then looked for alternatives. which was a later show... so we still went to watch National Treasure... the four of us so funny lor... run here run there just to find food... in the end got into the cinema the movie just about to start. we skipped all the gv advertisements! haha!



Then I went home after that cos i have to work today while the 3 of them went back to zhiwen's house... the difference was... i took a cab while they wanted to be adventurous and walked back instead.... i was back abt 10mins while they only reached home at 3am. And still call me and say they reach already... so stupid right... haha!!!



And now i'm actually at zhiwen's house now... and it's like 4.45am now... i took like how many hours to blog? and i dun want to blog liao lor... dunno who rush me to faster blog finish... haha! Watched 2 HORROR movies after the countdown... er... i only watched one and half cos the 2nd one i watched halfway and fell asleep... and after the movie ended... i woke up on my own... haha! and wide awake now... waiting for the dawn to come... so that we can go for breakfast! hahah!!



aiya... dun want to blog liao lah... go home then blog... so ma fan lor... still ask me to upload the photos now... dotx. bye!!!!!

The adventure of my leg and work..

Ok... i was so blur.. i didn't even write anything abt 24th. haha!

Ya.. actually it was an off day as i requested the night be4.. it was quite last min.. but ann auntie found someone to take over me.... but the next morning (24th)... while i was happily watching tv and slacking ard at 10am... she gave me a call and say uncle ronnie and mike (another fellow part-timer) might need help cos only the 2 of them were at the shop... and his son didn't want to go work as well... so being helpful... i agreed to go work after i got ready... (if not i'd be slacking at home anyway). good thing she didn't set a time limit for me to get there..

But then it was the worst day my leg could go... i couldn't even balance stepping on my bed the moment i woke up.. even stepping on the floor is painful.. not to say something soft... my dad reckon it's a bit of inflammation caused by the accupuncture... i seriously have no idea but have my dad apply some ointment for me lor... so i was walking really really slow out of my house to work... forging calmness as he watched me up the stairs.. actually is very pain when i lift up my heel. =x

So the whole day i was moving ard very very slowly... i took super long to walk ard.. even till the night... but miracle happened the next day! i woke up not feeling any sharp pain like 24th. and i could walk normally! i dunno how did it happen again. weird yea... still screaming in pain one day and all pain gone the next! haha. then today... the original side got a little pain back again. dotx. i just dunno what's with my legs. haha!

Anyway... very long nv work with mike le also... i guess he haven't change much... still there to suan me most of the time yea... dunno what's his problem.. but i think he grew more useful helping uncle to do some repairs. haha! =x he still remind me of the days we worked in suntec tgt lah... so funny lah he...

Ytd was quite a mistake... actually i wasn't wrong... was supposed to go to oub centre. but when i reached there... ziling was there as well! so in the end after consulting ann auntie... she ask me to go over to shaw... but i reckon there was already 3 ppl there.. dunno ask me go for what... but anyway fine lah... more money lor. haha.

Then today at oub centre... not that i dun like to go there... and not that the working partner is not good... but i get sick listening to her complaints abt someone else who is not there... that's why im working there... every time i go there.. there bound to be something she will nag abt him... and she can go on for the whole day harping on the same issue... sometimes i really dun like to listen to such stuff... i dun like to be involved in such stuff pertaining to someone i dun really know... but well... i could only try to change the topic and blah blah.. i dunno lah. AND then... i dunno why but she just couldn't get my name right... she call me wanLing instead of wanying. dotx. thou everyone calls me not so correct.. but not as bad as getting the letters wrong. i dunno but she just get it right thou i wrote my name down. haha. and she always call SO loud. and tells everyone else my name is wanling.. haix. i hope i dun have to go there again. and i hope someone can correct her... haha.

Back track a bit.... Christmas was spent with melody and sylvia... stepped out of my house and it started to rain while i was in the lift... the SUPER HEAVY kind of rain... i think all the german shepards, the huskys dropped down from the sky. but it was like sunny by the time we got to amk. good! went to suki sushi... only to realise they dun offer buffet there... but their sushis are mostly 99cents per plate... and they have special menu including bentos, mini steamboat, teppanyaki and etc. very nice! :)) and didn't have to pay a lot as well... just that have to go all the way to amk lah.. haha..

Shopped ard amk hub and reap some harvest from there... hee. spent quite a bit of money lah! didn't really control myself... but quite long nv spend until so happy liao. moreover with my best buddies... haha! =x

For the past week!

Realised that i'm really lazy and tired to do any update lately. =x Really bad...


Anyway.. it was a bad week for me.... cos i had to put up with my very painful leg(s). It was supposed to be one leg.. but it became both legs and now it's the other leg. it's worse than having my ankle sprained. apparently it happened during my work.. (it was only when i see the sinseh that reminded me of how i hurt my leg vein). finally went to see one on sat after dragging for a week plus.. he did accupuncture on my good leg (left)... and the pain somehow shifted from the actual pain leg (right) to the left! and today it got the worst ever. i couldn't even stand on my bed this morning.


Er.. last week... last sun.. which was 16th... went to malaysia with my mother's usual grp of khakis... it was quite fun... u really get to see very interesting aunties and uncles on the bus... they sure are a very funny lot... like i'm often amazed that my mother have such nice friends around and they could always enjoy themselves. then it sets myself to think if i will be as sociable as my mother when i grow old... haha!

haha! last tues to be exact... met up with a few syco ppl to celebrate the 'glam' peiqian's bday... She brought us to some very glam place called 'House' somewhere in demsey hill. the food was quite nice and the price quite reasonable as well... the dessert she ordered was good... i think it's mini tea cupcakes. :) Then went for some shopping for presents... settled 2 very impt presents. haha. Then accompany sylvia to ling's shop... renovate till very nice lor. the counter looks very pro.. and the chair very nice to sit. haha! i'm determined to make a new pair of specs! :)))

Then thurs... went out to get the next impt present... despite my very painful leg... i walked ard suntec and marina sq to look for something suitable enough... it's quite hard to make a choice... cos she dun have anything she like in particular... or at least not that i know of... haha... so in the end i bought something that can be used... but dunno if she will use it. =x Then had pizza hut with my family. yeah! but the christmas pizza not really very nice. haha. quite plain.

Fri work... worked overtime!!!! for 1h... while the 2 of them worked 2h OT to complete whatever is there.. super busy day... then went down to mco chalet with sylvia for i think less than 2hours... didn't do much... i was quite tired... and it took very long be4 we could actually start playing bridge and we left quite early cos she scared after that no shuttle bus to go out... true also lah.. cos walk out very far... somemore leg pain... after that started working on my presents. as in.. wrapping them... haha! watch tv and wrapping at the same time... i finished watching a few shows and i haven't finish wrapping. haha.

Ya.. so sat went to see chinese physician and i came out with only my right hand still normal... the rest of my limbs are quite painful due to the accupuncture. the rest of the day was spent slacking at home and continuing to wrap the presents. until it was time to go for dinner and to swan lake! :)))

SWAN LAKE is cool!! i find that it's really not easy to narrate a story just by dance... there's a lot of gestures that they need to make... and the audiences have to understand as well... becos there's not dialogues.. just movements and dances and actions made... oh. and the costume as well... they got very bling bling costumes lah... the main female lead danced very well... while the prince kept getting unbalance in his turns.. tsk tsk. didn't see er-jie's friend performing. dunno why.

Anyway... sunday is the day! First was lunch at uncle yeo's house... the food are all very very nice... if not for the other party at night... i knew i would stay thru the day.... haha! but at least this year i still get to go cos they started with lunch first... the previous years were just dinner... and i haven't been to their christmas party for a few years due to the very coincidental cogang celebrations. why huh?! next year hopefully not on the same day again. not even in this manner. heex.

Ok.. then the celebration with the beloveds... i think they all nv pray for good weather lah... (or they purposely dun want to bbq, so pray for rain) that's why it rained so heavily ytd... so we scrap the bbq and in the end still ended up in my house. and then u see.. good weather today!!! DOTX. wasted my $10. ok.. not my $10... but i didn't count it in lah... and i forgot to count the ham in as well... lol! Anyway... i shall not elaborate cos i'm very tired already... but i want to thank them for letting my enjoy myself and putting in the effort to buy present, write cards, make our names and help to buy the food and drinks... and their presence too! :)

Really tired.. just need to do one more thing be4 going to sleep.. that is to send ppl free minis... but most of my friends got it already cos sylvia koh snatched all of them away... dotx... she best lah... so they start petting all my friend's (fluff)friends faithfully... and giving away free minis to them one step faster than i do... haha!

Ok.. i'm done.. no pictures yet cos i dun have them and i'm really tired already. so nites... and actually it's already 2am of 25th dec now... so MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! :)))

投名状

Haven't blogged for almost a week... too many things to update... haix. too lazy to do so anyway. =x

Last fri.. went work then watch 投名状 with my family. Some of the scenes are rather bloody and gory... (that's why it's NC16) sometimes getting a little freaked out. But the scenes are very much manificent too. esp. the war parts where the other army finally decided to join forces with jet li's army to fight the opponent. Takaeshi is like supporting actor in the show lah. and i seriously think that he doesn't have the look of being in that era and i feel that he's not suitable to act such role with jet and andy. sorry but he doesn't look heroic enough. But he's no doubt very very charming. haha! The ending was... quite expectable i think... oh... but i didn't expect the method the ending happened. haha. anyway. it's a nice show lah. :)

I'm so tired now.. i dun feel like typing anymore. =x bye.

Family and Work

This week is really a rather busy week... i have really no time to get out on the streets... roam around and get some nice pressies for my dear friends. esp. to the grp i'm meeting on this sat! omg. i NEED to come out with something yea. they are my beloved royal family anyhows. just us. :)

Then then then... i'm so not getting anything for zhiwen.. haha! bleahx. something for everyone else!!! how's ur rubik's cube... i'm going to get one to play too. haha!

Had a small family gathering at uncle's cos of my great-grandmother's death anniversary. come to think of it... it has been 12 years... i rmb vividly that she died on christmas day in 1995. i was supposed to attend a christmas party at my friend's house but i had to forgo it.. i was very sad that time cos it was very very hard to persuade my mother to allow me to go... she finally agreed when my friend's mother spoke to her... but in the end i still didn't manage to turn up. ok.. anyway.. i was quite happy cos i wasn't just sitting there and staring at my phone doing nothing... i actually have ppl to talk to. at least my aunt-in-laws, my cousin spoke to me... had some conversation with the great family. but i left for work quite shortly after lunch..

Today at isetan not bad yea.... quite busy to begin with... at least got some things to do... and someone to talk to... honghan came and had quite a long talk... i think with her also have like thousands of things to talk abt.. haha! then sales quite good also... although at times it was quite messy... but today's buyers are quite easy-going.. good thing! :)

Tmr back to shaw... heex. Then... dinner and movie with my family!! kinda celebrate my mother's bday.. which is today! :))) WOW. so high. dun think we've done that be4 leh... as in watching movie tgt... going to watch WARLORDS. Andy's my mother's idol. so my sis decided to treat her to the movie and i insisted on tagging along. haha! =P I'm starting on my movies craze again.. anyone who wants to watch any movie. pls. look for me. i'll be so glad to watch with u. HEE.

Ytd my dad cleared some of my stuff and put aside some stuff for me to see whether i still want them... it was a whole big stack of POSTCARDS. it's really a big stack.. cos those were the extras after picking 2 of each design and i still have a lot more for some designs. dunno why i took sooooo many last time. hahaha... but i joked that i could actually sell them at a flea market... esp. for those movie postcards. the originals extincts after the movie ended what... so they are valuable... for a little money. well.. better than nothing... so i tried to keep some.. but not too many cos there's already a big shoe box filled. =x and there are still more not sorted yet. haha.

Ok.. going to sleep liao... got to wake up early... work! for the sake of my savings and extra allowance.. haix. have to do it.

My dedication to the friend

Yet.. another tired day.. think i'll nv be able to return all the sleep debts. haha! While some other friends get to sleep into late afternoon of the day... i have no choice but to wake up early in the morning despite my terrible condition. haix... too bad lately my fist a bit tight... i dun think i want to give up my work days for it... good thing tmr working aftn... but bad as well cos it will end rather late... just a bit lucky that it is quite near home.. so still all right. if not i will be like grumbling till like dunno what. haha!

Just saw a msg from a friend... and i have to say that i really can't bear to see him leave... anyhow we've spent some time tgt abroad... he has the talent... but i know it's kinda cos of his parents and studies as well... so i could only wish him all the best in the route he chose (or rather forced to choose)... and i hope he can do well after all the struggle to finally let go of something i know he so wanted to hold on dearly. Though he can be irritating when he tries to suan me or bully me and laugh at me (most of the time)... he is still the kind of friend that will help u whenever in need. He is just like a brother to me who can be childish sometimes... but he nv failed to cheer ppl up as well. Will always rmb the days we spend in hongkong. He is the responsible sort and i guess that's why he wants to fulfill his responsibility to the family. It is great courage. Des TARD... thou i always say 'I hate you'.. u know i'm not serious. you are really a friend. Thanks for keeping me entertained and being a friend in syco as well. I sincerely wish you all the best and hopefully you will rejoin syco in future. Take care brother! :)

It's christmas soon... I haven't prepared anything.. haven't bought any pressies... practically not prepared for the festive. =x Been busy and will still be busy!! Dotx. hopefully i'll be able to get something out by this weekend. Looking forward to more outings!! Royal Family, SYCO peeps, COgang and my NYCO dearies. Really miss all my friends. DATE ME! :) EMMS.. singing next week?! haha... hopefully i will be fully recovered then. Heex!

SYCO chalet

Ok.. i'm actually quite tired now... but just want to update a little... i was still saying that i really owe a lot of entries to some past events... like real long ago.... dotx.

Anyway... SYCO chalet just ended... and throughout the whole thing.. i was still sick. WHY HUH? So i felt so bad to be coughing throughout the time there. =x Actually didn't really do much there also... first day was just some glocery shopping and then bbq at night... became quite sian when everyone else left for their own other activities and there was a time when there were only 2/3 ppl left in the room while some of them went airport and some of them to the arcade.. qinglun and meigui came for a while and at that time.. most of the ppl weren't ard... felt a bit bad cos they just came and sit sit ard for a while.. the arcade ppl came back ard 1am.. some of them left while the rest stayed for further entertainment activity... mahjong. too noisy till we tio complain lor.. dotx. then realised that jessly and i were the only girls ard. lol. Ya.. wanted to sleep but someone was just so energentic. i dunno why and how. by the time it was peaceful enough to sleep... it was time for me to wake up... DOTX.

Then.. i wasn't there for the whole of day 2 cos of work... heard the rest slept until 2pm... how fortunate.. i was super tired i nearly fell asleep during work. it was terrible cos at times i really feel very uncomfortable. this is something i like abt going to shaw centre... the ppl are really very easy-going and very nice.. asking am i ok and blah blah blah... i still completed the day safely.. and ann auntie told me to rest the next day since they only need 1 part-timer there... appreciated it. :)

Came home after movie with via cos there's nobody at the chalet... then was deciding whether to still go over or not cos it was already quite late.. just that i need to get my things from the chalet cos i only took out my wallet, hp and ipod to go to work. so anyway. i still went there cos of i dunno what reason. i think it's becos i'm hungry and they agreed that we are eating something. I waited so long for them lah... nearly fell asleep too.. i was really tired. By the time they wanted to tell ghost stories. i was already dozing off... after a few stories. i really conked out. thou the space to sleep was really very little and i'm really scared that i will fall off the bed... managed to sleep till morning. :) earliest to wake up cos i really no space liao... i was already sleeping at the very edge of the bed.. anyway it was close to check-out time so might as well be prepared first. good thing there wasn't too many of us... everyone wash up and we left the room a little late. haha.

Brunch at BK.. and planning next outing and whatever... and also where to go after that... i was actually really tired. so i didn't want to go out... but they dun want to stay home... so say want to come my house. haha. but all went home or to somewhere else to do whatever they want first lah... fell asleep on bus... fell asleep while waiting... i was really tired. cos i really didn't get to sleep for the first night. in the end joel, minhui and zhiwen came at 4+. and we rot and play rubic cube and play music and whatever till they left at 11pm. haha! Next time i will produce a cleaner study room with more space to sit and move ard. haha!! =P

Ok.. So i'm really tired now so nitex!

Back from genting

HI all! I'm back!!! :)))

First would like to congratulate all the 3 grps for getting GOLD for the competition! YEAH. not like it's going to affect me very much.. but it's the effort of everyone. :))

I think the trip on the whole is pretty fun... esp. with the ppl that we have actually known for a few years... i guess most of us had a great time... thou home is still the best place. It's freezing cold there lah... luckily i brought like 2 jackets. haha! but i spent quite a lot of the free time sleeping in our room as well.. haha!! =x

Ok.. cos unfortunately i fell sick after 2nd night... voice already start to fade on 2nd day.. but got worse... so third day which we have the most free time... half of those time were spent sleeping to regain some energy... i think i caught a cold... and result of not having enough water on first day also.. =x

Nevertheless... didn't waste our trip... still did quite a lot of fun stuff... esp. on the last night... tonned! haha...

Pre-Genting..

Wow.. it's only a few hours away from leaving home for genting... like really a few hours... erm... 3+h?? haha!! actually i dun feel like sleeping at all! but for the sake of being able to play and watch show on the way there... i shall go and sleep after this... hopefully these 4 days of not checking mails and stuff... everything wun flood. haha!

Hope that it will really be a nice trip... actually most of the ppl there are nice.. so i hope we would enjoy ourselves... And of cos.. get good results for the competition! Jiayou everyone! (not like anyone of them will be reading this... and not like i will check any comments be4 leaving.) =x But ya.. i hope we will achieve what we want for it and all the best to the soloists and the tanbo ensemble too! i'm confident!! :)

ANYWAY.. good friends of mine.. pls look after my xiaobai in (fluff)friends... treat him with love and dun let him starve... thank u! :)))
