Hmm... Just finished NUSCO concert ytd (10Mar07)... had a great time ba.. although it was really tiring... And although i didn't play perfectly thru the concert (obviously)... I was happy to hear compliments... that i was rather zai! Haha! Unbelievable.. Actually some parts i was quite nervous lah.. but hun guo qu then ok liao.. =P
Thus this marks the 3rd year i guest play with nusco... and YET... my chinese was printed wrongly in the programme booklet.. Dotx... And to say the truth... why must they complicate the word when the chinese character is a very common word... and they put in a less common word instead.. Haha! Quite weird lah.. AND... there wasn't the guest player indication there also... I must say that i enjoyed playing with them very much... thou the journey is far and i dun belong there... And so far i've knew quite a no. of ppl there... So maybe that's why EVERYONE thought i'm an undergraduate of nus lor... So funny.. i am an undergraduate lah.. BUT not of NUS what... and they seemed so surprised/shocked to hear that. Haha! Someone even joked that even if i get nominated to be in exco by the members... they will also give it to me.. Like real lah..! Haha!
The concert itself.. no major mistakes or what lah... but then... sometimes the beat goes off... i dunno how... but at least managed to drag back... And myself... Ya lah... as i've mentioned.. i didn't play perfectly lah... esp. those semiquavers... But melody part.. no problem! haha! i guess the last min prac while i prac with erjie during the break btwn the end of full dress and start of concert really helped... helped her and helped me also.. HAha! get her to be more familiar with the songs and get me to be more polished so that i can 'hun' less... Heex. And so i did... i told the others some of the notes i just realised that they are those notes this last 2 practices.. haha! =P
Anyway... the day ended with me going for dinner with quite a big grp of ppl at clementi ke-ai-ji w/o er-jie... or i should say she went to eat with her batch nusco ppl w/o me... cos in the first place i dun really know them very well... and none of them were of my age or along that line... and they went off first.. i waited for at least one and a half hour be4 we get ourselves out of UCC. And Thanks to Changsheng who sent me home! Wow. so happy to be sent home in the quite new car! Haha! But somehow we accidentally missed the exit to bedok north rd from PIE. haha. So had to make a detour from the next exit.. =x But this should be the first and last time ba... unless he's mad enough to send me back again when he's already moving to the west! how sad. haha!
Ok.. so that rounds up me with nusco for this concert.. wun be going for the reception since i will be going out of town this weekend... was relunctant to go at first... but getting away isn't a bad idea too.. and it's only buffet and some thank-u speech... and since i wasn't even given appreciation... there's not much reason to be there lah... so ya.. that's all ba..
