Meeting up!! =)

Am back again! Just too excited to blog? Haha...

Ytd went to Kbox with von... Like finally we are meeting up again... sing sing sing... actually was quite shuang lah... at least no smoke smell? Haha.. and 2 of us simply sit inside like we are at home lah... lol... the best thing is she repeated Shan Hu Hai 3 times!!! But i promised i gonna master that song the next time..! HAha.. I just love singing! Haha... Sing until dun feel like leaving lor... but then... got to go for SY prac... no choice... so left ard 6.15... took train down to SCH lah...

Overall it was quite ok lah... given that i didn't prac la sha xing at all... =x Only a few parts still need brushing up... If not... considered not bad liao lah... compared to last year... Haha... At least still know where to come in lah... heex... this year the songs not bad lah... so friends... come and watch kae... it will be on 10 June. 8pm. =) But well... mr quek didn't give me the chance again... i mean to lead in tuning... too bad lor... perhaps he still didn't know yet... but whatever lah... Anyway... heard that xianyang's name is being striked off in the list... either he got expelled or he resigned... hmm... i'm curious... although i dun really know him... he played quite well.. that's why i'm puzzled why he dun come anymore... Oh... one good player less...

Was chatting with jon tan on the way home... and felt a bit guilty... cos i promised to go back and help... but now i've got a very good excuse reason to not go? so.... i also dunno how... esp. when i already agreed to help mco... and there's no turning back now... unless i want to be ignored by *ahem* once more? Hmm... i think i need to plan.... how??? maybe i'll spread the no. of attendance evenly? if i ever could... and also arrange my work schedule... sighx... seriously not that i didn't want to go back lah... plus so many of them is going back... like maybe even ds?? i could really say that i'm shocked lor... So... Planning!!!

Today.. a nice day at work as well... got to go out of the store to deliver luggage to a customer... he's like the managing director of a company... he's a bangladesh... damn rich lah... bought black label lor...! Somemore the one he brought to our shop to replace the zip is also black label.. And he stays in Pan Pac lah... Somemore a super regular... cos the ppl at the reception also knows his name and says he's a regular there... and knows his background as well... so no joke..~ Hmm.. looks like today's sales not bad... Haha... so i went out with renjie to deliver them lah... the only thing today was that there's another part timer at the shop... and hmm... i think he wasn't being well-liked lah... maybe cos he doesn't really come often... i got a shock when i saw him inside the shop at 11... i thought that's my slot... and i think he really made a mistake... cos other ppl that comes to suntec normally is afternoon slot... unless it's my offday... Haha...

Then met von chek and yuhui for dinner at marina sq... Before that went U.R.S to buy my heels... feel happy after spending on the shoes... cos my other heels all cannot make it liao lor... then met them while trying to call von.. coincidentally... Haha... save my phone time... Hmm... went to Changing Appetite... Chek's treat!!! =) Thanks chek!! Had a good time laughing there lah... Since we met quite late... there wasn't extra time to do anything else... except to take some pictures... in the toilet?~! HAha... suddenly thought of taking pics while we were in the toilet with a big mirror... Haha... cool yea... but of cos din take the mirror lah.. Haha... So home sweet home after that...

And i'm going off!!! Erm... Happy Birthday to Edwin kor for today... and Happy Birthday to Kenneth brother for tml!! damn.. there are more to come!! HAha...

Back again!! Quite tired after the day liao.. but since tml is off day... can stay till a bit later lah.. =)

Today's quite a good day at work... had quite some time to chat and joke with the others... though quite busy at times... but overall... good... hitting off well with khairul... ytd was still quite unfamiliar... he didn't even know i worked there when i stepped in at 11... was rather funny at that moment... but after that all was ok... oh... i didn't mention that i made a rather serious mistake ytd.. that resulted in... i dunno what... but i was in a total mist when the person returned the call a bit on complaining about the item... but i admit it was kinda my fault lah... in the end... he just refer back to kenneth... and hopefully i didn't get myself or anyone else into trouble... well... i just got to be more careful next time...

Sis came today... with jason... cos i told her about the iora sales... hmm.. maybe it's really a good thing to work in suntec... really got to know what's going on every week... at every possible place for a fair or sales or exhibit... am i not right? Haha... Iora sales up to 70% just downstairs of our store... too bad i dun need any of them now... but i presume there will still be events like that when i need them... good thing sis came back with a bagful of clothes... so i met them for dinner after work... went to Gao Ji Jiao Zi La Mian at Suntec... erm... damn full... perhaps cos i had late lunch... should have eaten earlier... all cos of mike lah... waited for him to place his order... and customers kept on coming in... HAha..

There's something funny... today finally reveal the mystery... everytime this someone calls our branch and i ans... he will say... 'xiao mei... blah blah blah...' and i never knew who was that.. until today... suddenly thought of the possible person... Andy... and i asked eric.. whom i passed the phone to... and confirmed that it's andy.... but it's quite funny how ppl just called me by that huh... it's either 1. he can't rmb my name.... and most of the time i'm the only female there... or 2. he just follows ann auntie in calling me 'xiao mei'... Haha...

Oh.. another happy thing today! i just got my pay cheque.. mike and i were still worrying when we will get it... esp. when i'm in total need of cash... but mike was even more anxious... he went right away to drop in the cheque... so i long bang lah... Lol... Hmm.. time to plan on my savings... And hopefully this month will have more that march! =)

The weekend...

Hmm.... been wanting to update... but can't find the time.... ytd night er-jie was using... i was too tired after the busy sunday anyway... wanted to wake up earlier to do it... but obviously i couldn't... haha... i really only can sleep late but not wake up early... Heex...

Ok.. let's recap... Sat... went out with besties sylvia and melody... met at bedok... and surprise surprise!! i'm the first to reach! Haha... Thanks to them for being late... =) Saw daijing coming up the escalator while waiting... so she joined us for the mrt ride... cos she going to city hall also mah... the 3 of us proceeded to marina sq while dj went to meet her friend... And there we went... to Seoul garden!! Been a while since i last went there... Hmm... that one is quite diff from the other branches that i went to... unless the usual ones... it's rather bright there... which is good lah... dun like to eat in too dark a place... cannot see if the food is cooked... HAha....

Then we walked around lor... by the time we left marina sq.. was around 6 ba... then went suntec to see if there's missha... but dun have... so we walked around there for a while... erm... turned a stitch hp accessory for myself... it's cute lah... and $1 only mah... At least it's cute... go ahead and say i'm childish... I like being childish... HAha... just like i'm collecting the 7-11 disney badge... Heex... who dun want give me leh... so far i have about 10 liao... some contributed by my sis.... which is very minute... and got 2 repeated... forgot to change with via... haha...

Been watching campus superstar... and now that it has ended... hmm... dunno... but felt quite disappointed... not becos of the outcome of the results... in fact i'm happy that the zhiyang won... he's good lah... just that i thought... why the show had to end so fast... some ppl dun understand why we watch CSS... but i felt... maybe it's really a way to find back the tong zhen... it's really better than project superstar... perhaps it's becos the students are much younger... and the way that they look at the competition is simplier... as i watched the last episode today and the way they cried at the last 10min of the show... and giving their last words for this whole programme... could really see that they are not only competitors but friends of each other.. and i think they sang better than some adults... Haha... If only i'm still wearing uniform... and sing a little nicer... i can join too! Haha... ok.. i think too much liao... =x

Sunday... oh man... damn busy lah... think i din even have the change to set my butt on a chair except for break time... we were like damn busy in the morning... only renjie and me there... somemore eric and his wife came a bit late... by the time... the busiest period also over liao.. dotx... and like a lot of ppl come in... serve until so cham only a few buy... pengx... but nvm lah.... the sales for ytd still acceptable lah... hopefully will be better for the following weeks.... Then took bus down to paya lebar to meet via... went to mingyan's birthday party... erm... perhaps it's becos we are not familiar with the ppl there... but think it's better than the previous one ba.. =x and we left around 9.15... anyway i was tired too...

Today... morning... suddenly busy also... the ppl came in and looked at so many luggage lah... so serve here and there... in the end haven arrange those taken down then next customer came to look at another series... oh man.. it's really tiring lah... cos the 3 indian man looked at all the hard cases... which are HEAVY!!! Somemore keep changing his mind... luckily he bought 2 of the more expensive one... if not i might start cursing him... Haha... so still quite worthed it... at least i made the first $1000 of the day.. =) so i'm happy! Haha... just that.. the rest of the day quite sian liao...

HAiz... hopefully my pay faster come!! i'm seriously running out of money!!! damn... if not i will go buy contact lens... or more clothes liao!! haiz... have to REN!!!

Ya... that's all lah... Hmm.. hope will be meeting the cogang soon... Hey!! set the date soon kae... so that i can plan for my day off...~ =)

Job? Future?

Actually got a lot of things forgot to say... talking about the job i'm doing now... it's like... hard labour lah... like everyday go can get cuts here and there... or broken fingernails... or arm ache... or whatever lah... then one day it set me thinking... as a part time musician... i should also take care of my hands... should i really be doing all these?! Rmb that time laoshi still got the drinks stall.. like do until his hands all bruised... Somemore one of the days Situ Baonan and Lin Huilong walked into our store... having me served them.... can u imagine one day they realised that i'm the CM of sy and i'm not taking care of my pair of hands... it could be quite weird yea.. Haha...

But for now... i'm not thinking of changing job yet... if not that time will agree to work data entry liao... so funny lor... the customer came in... ask me is it waiting for sch to start all those...then ask me want to do data entry for his company anot... say he looking for ppl to do that... lol... of cos i din agree lah... and someone saved me by presenting to him his bag he sent in for repair... Haha...

Got one day even more funny... a girl came in... think around my age... i tot is customer... then who knows is cosmetics promoter... want to promote liz carborne (did i spell correctly? the idea is there lah...) products... dotx... then a customer came to my rescue... haha... got to attend to the customer mah... then more ppl came in... think the girl wait till sian liao.. so she left.. phew... Haha..

Then i tot again... what am i going to do in future? Teach? Am i capable of doing that...? Just now saw a indirect junior of mine has her msn nick in need of a maths tutor... i wanted to approach her very much... offering myself to be one... but the next moment i thought i should be responsible for my actions... if i do that... am i sure that i can help her? Then i rmb i will be away on hol in may.. which will be sec sch's mid year... so am i supposed to put her on her own during that period... that could be quite unfair... plus.... might have trouble with the timings... so in the end i didn't cos i thought i didn't want to hai anyone... Hmm... maybe i need more time to think.. or rather... i should set myself down to think more often... I'm just not planning my life ahead enough... well.. maybe that's why i'm like that now...

Random matters...

Recently been here more frequently yea... want to reach my 200th post soon mah... HAha.... Ya... like so long liao still haven reach there yet... dunno why... must be i not hardworking enough... lol...

Ok... Finally done all my application for uni... Hopefully can get into fass in nus... But if ntu is willing to offer me mathematical sciences... i might be confused...! Hmm... oh well... i might not even be offered both... shouldn't be too confident... just see lah... whatever i can take... but seriously... hopefully it's nus... =) Then i see another prob when applying... i think i can't apply for financial aid... How would anyone believe that i need financial aid when i'm still living in such a comfortable environment now? plus going out of the country for hol considerably frequent even when both my parents aren't working? Thanks to my dad's savings for the past 40 years... So.. the qns is... is savings good? Haha... What an irony...

Anyway... tml's going to be wenwei's last day at suntec... he will be at shaw centre from sat onwards... the good thing there is fixed hours and sunday off... unless there's some promotion or whatever... cos they dun open on sundays... and everyday is 10 to 6... so shuang right... unlike suntec... only thing is suntec commission is higher lah... and i expect quite good pay for this month... and even better for the next! Must work harder... Haha... Although not based on personal performance... but if sales for the store is better.. then the hourly pay will be higher lor... dun lookdown on an extra of 20cents per hour kae... one month will be $30 kae... ytd sis still say her staff grumble that their rise in pay is only 20 cents... stupid... better than dun have right! Haha...

Sometimes it's really difficult to guess what ppl are thinking... like in our store... u tot everything is going on nicely btwn the ppl... but it's not really the case... is it a relief for him to leave? maybe he'll learn more over the other side... and i think the other party didn't know how he felt about him... but sometimes he can really be very xiao zhang... but whatever lah... i'm just a part-timer! All i need to do go work.. enjoy my offday and collect money at the end of it... but seriously the pay is really making me stay for it... even though have to travel to somewhere that i hated in the past... suntec... haha...

Guess i've got the weekend to enjoy... will be meeting my dearest friend for the past erm... 12 years... And finally... on her birthday again... many years since i went to her house... heex... and sat.. if nothing goes wrong... will be out with mel! She was the one that asked me out... lol... thought she will always be the busy one.. =x And my off day's on wed... luckily... then i wun be late for combine... maybe i'll live with one off day for the rest of april... if i can... heex... then it means more income! =)

Backtracking...

Hmm... All right... back for updating... Actually am quite tired now... did full shift today... cos no other ppl except for one full time... so at least have one person to stay lor... And there's only 3 ppl working today... eric got something on... so i stayed... Somemore earlier we still bluff renjie that he will be alone for the night... HAha...

But something bad happened today... soon after eric left the store.. an angry customer came in with his luggage... erm... maybe he wasn't angry at first... but dunno what evoked him... our staff merely asked for his warranty card... the customer couldn't produce it and claimed that his bag is only one year old and it's new model... in fact... it's already about 3 years old.. and warranty is 3years lah... And tada... he exploded and wanted to call our GM... Aiyo... such small matter... so he thinks he very bigshot... in the end he really called our GM while renjie tried to get our Manager first... but to no avail... andy didn't pick up the call... so the angry customer tot renjie ignored him and so he called Singtel to get our main office's number and called there straight away... and talked to our GM... Then he asked the angry customer the same qns... which is when he bought the bag... and i think he got even more angry or something... even scolded our GM! Cos he asked for the USA email or contact... and i think he didn't give at first cos he was trying to explain the situation.... Pengx... aiya... this type of customer siao one lor... if he can talk nicely... can even forget about the warranty just say roughly when buy one lor... stupid... got the guts dun come back and buy our products again lor.. go other companies lor... think he's going to write complaint letter... Omg... think he really spoilt the day there lor.... if not today's sales is quite presentable lor... Damn him...

But truthfully.... i was a bit shocked when he flared up and was pretty scared when the call was going on... and he just shout like nobody's business... And i thought... 1 bad thing can really spoil all the good things that happened.... I believe renjie will only rmb being scolded by the customer and not rmb that he closed 2 good deals earlier in the afternoon when he just arrived... too bad that had to happen... and luckily i was there... to be a witness... and after that he really no mood liao lor... of cos lah... if it's me i also no mood... really curse and swear the customer after he left... so friends... dun be such customers ok...?~! Ok lah.. drop the subject...

On a lighter note... Went out with the cousins ytd... jiaqi and jiaxun... they came all the way to bedok actually... initially we wanted to go kbox at marina sq.... but korkor says kampong chaichee's one is cheaper... so we went there... but to my horror... the place is infested with smoke smell... oh man... and indeed... my jacket and bag smelled of smoke this morning... which i din realise ytd... i must have smelled like cigarette too when i go sy... so conclusion... although only pay $6 for 5hours of singing... it's still better to visit kbox if dun want to smell of smoke... Overall is still quite fun lah... it's becos of the ppl i'm with... my cousins!!

SY was terrible.... had a hard time trying to catch up with the notes for the newly composed song... even thou i tried playing at home... er-jie even commented that it was terrible when i practised at home... sadz... but since it's the first time combining that song... so was being let off... haha... guess we are not going to be so lucky the next time... got to practise more... and i escaped once being the concert master... i think mr quek still didn't know about the confirmed arrangement yet... Heex... Shh....

The past sat was Yanru's 21st bday.... seen quite a few sacians there... but not many stayed till the cake cutting session... all becos it was a bit late already... and she insisted on following her plan... which is games first then cut cake... erm... actually i dunno why she wants to do that... cos of the 21st parties that i attended.. i've never come across this be4... quite weird... but whatever... It's her birthday.... as long as she's happy..~ We left with me eating the 2nd piece of her cake... HAha... It's nice... i always trust prima's cakes... =)

Headache!

It's thurs liao... the week is coming to an end soon! =)

These 2 days quite sianx actually... been feeling quite sick... esp ytd... like whole body no strength... plus headache and giddyness... imagine still got to rip open the boxes... i dun even have the energy to take the box down from the stack lah... luckily i slept early ytd... to recover energy... really too tired liao... just took 2 cold panadol.. and *poom*... sleep.. HAha...

But that was after i came back from SY ytd lah... Erm... the session was so dotx... like waste 30 to 45min on setting our sitting arrangement... And the outcome makes me peng lah... Argh... so angry already... dun say le... now must practise whenever i have time liao... sianx... Somemore next time combine cannot late liao... Why?!?!~ Hmpf... Nvm... now must plan liao... But at least i get to sit with Via lah... but sit behind also can mah!!

Aiya... Very tired liao... HAha... think the headache coming back again... think of that seat i also headache ah... better sleep early today again... if not who's going to eat the chocolates and the chips~?! Haha... =x

Eventful weekend...

A week passed again... that's fast yea...

Went to disney on ice on thurs.... Erm... Must say that might be confused by the stories... HAha... cos all very short... somemore last year got more cuter characters... Aiya.. Why dun have Stitch~!? Lol... Have Simba lor... but then looks ugly... cos is not as the appearance in the cartoon... Too bad... took quite a bit of photos... but some very dark lor... quite fun lah... Like Disney on Ice is the only performance i ever watched that allowed cameras and noise inside.. Cos got a lot of children mah... and seriously... noisy.. HAha.. Then after that actually wanted to take cab home... but eventually we took a bus instead cos there's no cab in sight... since bus come liao.. then we just take lor... all the way back to bedok int... then walk home lor..

Then fri during work... the nail that crack the other day erm... this time really come off le.... so no choice got to cut away... but then really pain lor.... think it's been years my nails are so short... sighx... Then after work went to meet up with 2 sis... was rather late of the spoilt escalator... so stupid lor... it's like peak hour and the ppl are trying to repair the escalator... leaving only one side for both going up and down... so really got to queue lor... Really jam there lah... dotx.. So went to josephine and lawrence's house... at woodlands! Oh man... what an alien place... we like so lost there lah... pengx... but still managed to find the place lah... liyan and sansan were there already.... Hmm.. they've got a nice house there actually... so we had dinner... then see photos and chit chat... Left the place around 11pm... lawrence was nice to send us back! he saved us from long bus ride... =)

and today!!! I think the time should be stamped somewhere in the afternoon... but i didn't have the time to finish typing.. so save as draft first lah... and now is actually 1am le... I rot in the morning... watch tv all that while 2 sis went to cut their hair... didn't want to follow... later cut my hair so short got to rebond again... sianx... Then evening went out to meet pri sch friends! Hmm.. gathering after a long time... but only few ppl turned up... quite disappointed that most of the ppl can't make it... in the end only like how many ppl~?! 6! Haha... But still.. we had lotsa fun digging up the past... it's just too bad some of them can't make it to this fun event.. HAha... So we set our butts in Fish n Co at TM and stayed there for the night... talk and talk and talk... everything is just so funny... Anyway... ppl who went... Kexin, Jiewan, Jiaying, Edwin, Wenguang and me... Pathetic? Maybe.. but it's a good start right~?!

We left the place around 10.. when we got in at 6.30.. Haha... So jiewan and jiaying took cab home.. while the 4 of us took 67... all live in bedok area... So wenguang and kexin alighted first... then edwin and me... he walked me home.. still so nice of him.. nicest kor.. although always bully me... Haha... It's really just like how he always sent me home after sch back in pri sch... whenever i didn't walk home with teresa.. How nice... Looking forward to the next one! =)

Tuesday blues...

Been updating quite frequently nowadays... but can't guarantee that this frequency will maintain... Haha....

Hmm... I realised that i have very bad tuesday blues... instead of monday blues... In fact... i'm always very happy on mondays lately cos they are my off day... Haha... and actually sometimes i wished i worked from 12 to 8 instead of 11... sianz...

So today i was so so relunctant to get up for work lah... =x But of cos i was there punctually... Renjie was on morning shift today... so chatted when there were no customers... erm.... he taught me quite some things... and let me try to handle some of the stuff... in case they are too busy... hmm... and finally knew how old is he... oh man... so young!! 2 years older than me only lor... but he knows so much... i wonder how long he has been working in samsonite.. but i nv ask lah... Wenwei also very young lor... one year younger than er-jie... and he's married with a kid 6 month old... And Mike! the youngest.... one year younger than me!! But he's also part time de lah.. just that not always come to suntec de... Erm... both renjie and mike quite good looking lor.. Haha... If mike is not younger than me... i might.. Haha... and 2 years older is quite a good age yeah?! Lol.. =P Eric and wenwei dun need to say le... they're both married.. lol...

And today so suay lor... i started work for no even 10min... and i broke my nails when taking out a new piece of luggage for my customer... damn pain lah... and still got to pretend that nothing happened and take the lugguage out for the customer... then started a little bleeding... in the end wait till the customer pay money liao then i go in to cut away the nail and put plaster.... the bad thing is the crack it quite deep... cannot cut until there lor... have to wait for it to grow longer liao... haiz...

Had dinner with Via at 85 market after visiting yushi.. Then met Kexin just as i left the place.. and we stood there and talked for around 20 min be4 i come home with er-jie's ba chor mee... Hmm... talked about quite a lot of things... good thing she did well... if not i think she wun call out to me just now liao.. cos she was the one who stopped me... haha... Hmm... it's really time to meet up with those pri sch friends.... it's really a long time since i last saw them liao... even mingyan... Ya...

New blog song!!

Been some time since i last put up a blog music... Erm... my new fav song for the time being... Bu Si Zhi Shen by JJ... actually every song in his album is nice lah... Haha... will try to change regularly... reason~?! The ripway.. like last time... 30 days nv sign in then will cancel account liao... i think this is the 3rd time i signed up for the service.. so dumb.... Anyway... enjoy while reading my blog!! Erm... the song seemed to start a while later when the page opens.... bear with it... at least it's a nice song! HAha...

Hmm... today.. or rather ytd (sun)... Was a busy day both at work and after work... at work.. obviously busy serving customers... i think i din even get to take a sit from i started work till i end except for eating during break time... like normally also will get to sit around and chit chat de lor... but today... we have 5 ppl but still so so so busy... plus injury here and there... dunno why today like that... and the ppl like all come tgt and leave tgt like that... and they just come one after another... really non stop one lor... But there's a part really funny.... got this incident that happened just outside our shop... there's this lady... suddenly shouting very loud at a man and started hitting him... at first i tot they knew each other as in like husband and wife lor... cos they suddenly started quarrelling... and the reason behind was the guy who was pushing a baby tram accidentally knocked into the lady or what lah.. then the lady flared up and she like hit the guy on his shoulder a few times... of cos the guy got shocked lah and of cos nv huan shou lah... (luckily the guy didn't).. if not i think the lady will go crazy... i think the guy asked why she hit him lah.. then the lady said something.. 'ni xian yong na ge (the tram i supposed) lai da wo'! Erm.. it's kinda senseless lah... why would anyone use a baby tram (with the baby sitting on it) to hit someone else intentionally... and then they started shouting at each other... erm... details not needed... but they ended when the guy's wife and mother appeared and with something like 'mei jia jiao' or what.. dunno who started saying that first... but the lady stormed off first (ridiculously) and the family also walked in the same direction... and i thought i heard someone saying 'mei jia jiao' still after they walked off... at that point of time... i think actions in our shop paused... and everyone was looking at the 'show'... oh my god... it's so damn embarrassing to do that in the public lah.. esp when it's a sun with the whole suntec filled with ppl..! Is really siao one lor the lady... i mean he didn't kill her with that knock right... but the reaction was too over lah... dotz...

Then after work busy walking around shop shop... went back to the lingerie sale outside carreffour... cos morning that time actually wanted to buy but time's running out... so went work... so after that then went down to buy the one i wanted lah... bought a shirt from bum... on offer mah... then decided to go IT show again at the last hour... went to level 6 the pasar malam type... trying to see got any offers to grab.. should have asked for more free gifts man... but nvm lah.. actually considered cheap liao.. bought a portable speaker that i can bring around in future during tours... and a mp3 for my mum.... i think i'm so nice cos er-jie was the one who gave the idea of buying the speaker... and i paid for all these... damn.. spent slightly lesser than $300 today lor!! Haiz.. i'm broke i guess... hope not too bad... and that i can still shop...!

Back for blogging..! Hmm... dunno where to start...

Work? it's fine actually.. And seriously i still have a lot a lot to learn.. instead of saying 'customer' (which i'm supposed to).. i sometimes just say... 'you ren' or 'na ge ren'... hmm... i supposed it's quite rude to do that.. i wasn't taught to say customer lah.. but i tot it's only polite to refer them as customer and not just 'na ge ren'... Must rmb! Everytime too busy.. want to be quick then forget liao... And a lot of things i still can't rmb! like how much is which luggage.. eh.. some nv put price tag.. not good!

Anyway weekdays most of the time quite eng lah... lesser things to do... cos lesser customers mah... but today so weird... we could be like the busiest at a moment (serving a few customers at a time) and totally free the next... Moreover today only 3 ppl working... almost died... esp. when one of us is having break... and it had to jam all the way out of suntec... cos of that IT show 06! TOok like so long to get out of there... and then get back home in bus...

Oh.. today mum came visit me at work... with ann auntie and er-yi (not 2nd aunt but a friend of their whom i know too). Surprise surprise... and mum din tell me when she came back from market this morning!!! And mum bought a keypouch for dad for his birthday.. think dad was surprised too when presented with the pouch..! haha... to think that dad is always the one paying... little did he expect a gift.. dad really is a model husband and father... he never wanted anything from us... but give all he has to us... and i think he spoiled me with money.. like he never rejected my request for more pocket money on weekends... (my pocket money usually comes from mum last time) and even now..! he offered to give me money although i'm working and sis gave me allowance.. but of cos... i din always take lah... unless i'm really running short of money.. Ya!

Tml... or rather.. today... will be lunching out with family! for dad's birthday... though it's still a bit early.. next sunday then is his birthday... haha... but yeah! happy... it's long since the family dine out tgt... think it's er-jie's treat!! =) And will be going to nus openhouse after that.. then proceed to nusco's qing gong yan..~ hopefully can get more advice of what i want and can take...

Finally bought new speakers from the IT show... bought it ytd... so crowded!! but it's quite cheap... so no lose lah... just that it's quite heavy.. haha.. then today i made a trip back again to get er-jie a MMC card for her phone... again.. squeeze.. managed to get a leaflet for the ipod accessories.. finally.. ytd nobody wants to give me.. haha.. shall go down to wheelock place someday... maybe monday!! off day and going out! =)

Decisions...

There's always times we need to make decisions... but the problem is... nobody knows what will be the outcome of the decision.. And starts worrying what if we regret after making that decision... every decision made is an important step in life... it will determine what will come after that...

Now is the time we are making an important decision that will affect and will stay with us for the rest of our lives... i'm really confused... the more ppl ask me.. the more confuse i get.. the more lousy i feel about myself and my results... the more i feel that i'm a failure because i never had plans in my life... the more i worry if i can ever get into a university although i kept on telling myself there's no problem to it...

Then i have all the qns coming out... can i cope with the work in future? will i be able to maintain the scores.. will i be able to graduate with a degree i want? am i up to the standard? i'm worry cos i seem to always stay at the same standard...

My rough decision is getting a degree first then decide if i really want to go into nie... actually teaching has been an ambition since young.. but it's not so strong when i was older... and i can't say for sure will i be a good teacher... Cos i seriously dun want to be teacher whereby all my students doesn't like... and classified as a 'lousy teacher'... cos i've been saying some teachers (ahem) that.. Haha..

But no matter what... there must be a decision made.... within the restricted time... it might not be the best.. but if we do not try... nobody will know is it a good one.. i believe that sometimes ppl are left with no choice thus have to make one that isn't really what he/she wants... but accept it.. there might be surprises... i believe it's the same for horng... however... i wish her all the best in her studies and persevere!! i will start saving de... (if i can..)

Post results..

Ytd wanted to update.. but dunno what's wrong with blogspot... anyway... everyone should know that results are out already.. So erm.. wasn't exactly happy about it lah... esp. cla.. the overall was quite bad... but heard other schools' AB grades very high... hmm... it's time that cla dept think if anything is wrong... now i dunno if i'm still able to study chinese.. i can enter lah... but then... will it be a good choice~?! that i dunno... if not i will be doing maths.. is that worse? hmm... i'm rather confused u know... The only lucky thing was i passed Econs and GP. i totally no confidence for gp lor... so in the end i got a c5...

Regarding GP... i have a few friends that failed theirs... but believe me... u still can apply for uni... pls refer to the 'Category A' book Pg12 Q68.. but of cos some courses will be restricted lah... Ya.. but dun just give up if u fail gp... just have to sit for the QET when admitted.... which i have to take also lah.... dotx...

So even though we are all not in a very good mood.. yuhui, chek and i still went out for a meal together... and that yvonne had to pang seh us... idiot... but we ended up with emily, kinsing and wanlin at J8's Cartel... Yupx... Saw deshun when we were entering the place... he and his classmates were sitting there! Enjoying their meal.. or rather... finishing their meal... Ya... so we sat there for quite a while... left at 6+.. got to go for sy liao... sianz... But all right lah... went thru jiang jun ling... finished that in like 1+ hour~?! then laoshi started intro on reading manuscript scores... and ended with asking us to transcript the He Ping Song to number notes... dotz... But good thing he sent me back to bedok... yea...

Thurs.. which was ytd.. i started work at Samsonite @ Suntec city... erm... can look for me at ur free time.. but i guess u also dun dare to come in.. cos the things are expensive!! Haha... but got to know that the suntec one is biggest showroom in sg... and got better pay also.. but i guess it doesn't really concern me.. HAha... Will be working from 11am to 7 pm everyday.. except for mon and sat.. So can date me out in the afternoon on mondays if u are free!! =)
Anyway the ppl there very nice lah... but one thing i realised about the ppl there... most of the younger ppl... are those who doesn't excel in studies.. like mike... he quite shuai one lor... but he's in ite... then wenwei too... erm ok.. he din even go to ite... so u know what i mean.. last time kelvin also ite de... haiz... but i believed their pay quite good lah... samsonite is so rich lor.. HAha...

Anyway.. there's like a promotion now.. can bring ANY OLD BAG to trade in for a four-wheeler luggage @ $210 (original price: $359) Erm... good bargain lor... it's really ANY bag... any brand and any size!! Then got customer so what one lor.. say what.. 'so plastic BAGs also can lah'... oh man.. trying to be funny... bring a plastic bag and try lah! Siaoz..

ERm.. tml going out to meet co gang for lunch!! YEah... eh.. nothing le... Haha.. so anti-climax right.. =P Ok.. i shall be nice and announce my results.. it's BCD with C5 (as stated above) for gp. erm.. what sub got what... guess urself... u can try ur ans at my tagboard. =)

Concert over...

Yupx... Concert's over already... erm... so feel rather relax now... not that i'm very nervous about the concert... but i just really want to do my part as a player... even the laoshis said the piece is difficult and are still practising at the very last moment be4 on stage... haha..

But what i could say is... there's a lot of mistakes during the concert lor... it's poor coordination altogether... like a lot of things were last min kind... erm... i dunno.. and i dun have any rights to say anything cos it's not my orchestra... all i could do is follow instructions lor... but i must say that i benefit a lot from this concert... it's really about overcoming the difficulties lah... and i really spent time practising those parts till i really can handle...

Sat's quite a good day cos we came home rather early!! Even took mrt and still reached home ard 10.30pm!! Haha... William said it's the first time that we see bright sky when we stepped out of UCC after rehearsal.. not that we really ended early... but behind no more our items... so we can leave! =) So we went fong seng and had cheese prata... then after that took mrt home lor...

Sun.. left home 10.15am... go there had packed lunch... then changed and get ready for full dress rehearsal... erm.. the rehearsal was good i will say... even better than the actual concert... Haha... ya... so after rehearsal only left a bit of time.. to touch up and everything... then concert started liao... so in the middle dun have our item.. also dunno where to go... we ended up in the guest player's room.. where zhu lin laoshi and bao nan laoshi were inside... bao nan laoshi was practising his liuqin... but was cut off by our entrance... but he damn zai.. he only received the scores one week be4 performance!!! ok.. then we started chatting with them until our next item... Haha... erm... 'we' refers to liting, kathy, my sis and i...

After everything ended... cleared the stage for photo taking... followed by short short speeches by the guest performers... then waited for the lorry to come and pick up the instruments.. but waited for v v long... in the end... around 10 then went for dinner lor... all the stores almost closed liao lor.. Ya.. and we sat there till near 12... then took cab home with huiyan and william... first time we not last to alight... cos william lives in pasir ris!! HAha.. =x

Ya.. so it's an enjoyable event altogether... hopefully it's the same for other orchestras...

Slacking days...

If you ask me what have i been doing after i came back... erm... nothing much.. but CO and CO and CO! haha... it's either co or slack lah.. =x

Fri slacked... sat went nusco... And after that to wilson's chalet for his and yingjie's 21st b'day party... quite nice time there too lah... since there's nothing much at nus too... luckily got to leave early cos after break not practising our items... but i could have gone with changsheng since he was at nus too.. just too bad that when i met him.. he was alighting from the bus while i was boarding.. so din have much time to talk to him.. so the whole night there i was stuck with the marists.. whom i'm more familiar with.. namely jon, bern, ken low, cs and alvin.. ya... and what else can they talk about~?! A.R.M.Y. i sian diao down there... until they talked about something else... erm.. nothing much lor.. then after that we left at 11+... except for jon who decided to stay for another night... then took bus home.. alone cos they all live so far... haha.

Sun.. another slacking day.. went out with via in the aftn... to buy pressie..! then we went for ben and jerry's ice-cream..! haha.. sure is yummy..! then we decided to head down to chinatown to buy cd.. lol.. eh... can save money buying from there mah... so i bought JJ's new album @ $15.90... saved $3.. haha... and via bought also kelly's album @ $16.90.. so she saved a total of $5... good deal... so both of us went home happily.. Heex...

HAha... met up with emily and jon... had lunch at our usual lunch place after co prac... then walked to ny... emily went to collect her EAGLES award cheque lor.. then we sat in the canteen for a while... get ourselves some fruit juice... until we decided that it was too boring there... haha... then we pei jon go to peninusla plaza to sign his employment contract or what lah.. then emily shun bian go to the language school there to ask about korean lessons.. then after that we visited yingying at her workplace... ben and jerry's @ United Sq... and ice-cream!! =) After sitting there for dunno how long... finally left for nusco's prac... and was a bit late in the end.. heex... =x

Tues was the real slacking day... other than going out for lunch with dad.. i think i did nothing else... haha... Wed.. too slacked in the day.. but went for sy sectionals at night... quite cool.. came back in laoshi's new car.. (at least to us). first time in his new car mah... drove us all the way back to bedok! Thanks so much... i can't even rmb when's the last time i set my butt in his car... probably somewhere early last year...

Thurs.. again... was at nus at night.. and this time i used the day to practise.. Eh... could say that it's the first time i practise for the concert at home... quite guilty actually.. but whatever lah... to be truthful.. not all can be heard clearly.. haha... and i'm already trying my best and doing my part as to practise at home...~

today... slack slack slack... haha.. din step out of house at all... btw tml and sun will be busy.. so slack for a day not much ya.. haha.. =P

Anyway.. i'm supposed to start work on coming wed... at Suntec's Samsonite... hmm... the work timings are quite to my liking!! HAha... except that i have to rush for one of the days lah... too bad... sorry to laoshi cos i gotta be late for sectionals liao.. haiz.. no choice... hmm... forget about office job for the time being.. sales isn't too bad either... i got to train myself to be a person who is better in words... BUT but but... A level results had to be released on wed too!!! Where got so qiao one lor.. looks like got to start one day later liao.. sianz.. and i've got SY that night!!! Oh man... pray that i'm still surviving from my results.. =x

Korea Trip -- Part 3

Hmm... finally till last 2 days le... make it a bit more simple this time... Heex..

Day 7
It was a bad day to start with all the other ppl late in the morning.. even Sansan... as Mina didn't sleep in the hotel that night (she went home)... she was rather angry that things just went wrong like that... i mean it's weird how only the 6 of us reached lobby at the assigned time while all the others were late for like 30 min?~!

Went to a few places.... their 总统府... their old palace... it's quite cold there cos there's nothing else surrounding... so wind was blowing rather hard... and it's also the palace that Da Chang Jin used in their shooting... Yupx... And we went to 高丽参专卖店 and 紫水晶制造场.. where we spent quite a sum of money... And i got a little pressie from dad... he insisted that i buy the 宝石级 one rather than the 水晶级 one... anyway both are the same design of a four leaf clover... but the reason why i wanted the latter was becos the colour was nicer cos it's lighter... ya... so i actually gotten the more expensive one...

Then we went to this shop and learn how to make kimchi... not that i know now.. lol... in the first place i dun eat them.. haha... And after that we wore their korean costumes and took photos... =)
they have 2 different types of outer piece for females... the shorter one which i was wearing and the longer ones...



After that we visited a street... erm.. shopping again.. Haha... and er-jie bought something lah.. again... due to time constraint... we din really shop very far.. but we still bought ice-cream.. haha...

Then we went for dinner on a riverboat... it's actually for valentine's day lah... haha... Eh.. quite ok ba... cannot expect too much from their western food.. haha... Then went back hotel.. Quan-ning ah-yi came to look for us again.. then time brought us to somewhere else to shop... it took us like 30min in their subway to get to the destination... and we only had 1hour to shop cos the place closes at 10pm... but well... we came back with one big box full of biscuits... lol... And... look at their subway plan!

Wow... complicated.. they have like 6 or 7 different colours i think...
And it took her 2 hours to get home from where our hotel was.. !!! oh man... and she even came out of the subway with us.. see us into cab to go back hotel... then she left for home.. Seriously... that's very very nice of her..

Day 8 - Last day
Morning went to their local stuff store... again.. one more box back... dotx.. Then after that go to airport le... and Back in singapore at 6+!! Home sweet home..~! =) Really enjoyed the trip... esp. the ice-creams and the dunkin donuts.. lol... We bought a box of donuts at their airport before boarding the plane.. haha.. =x

Ok.. that's all!!! Update another day... go lian erhu with my sis... =)

Korea Trip -- Part 2

Let's continue!!!

Day 4
We left Jeju early in the morning to Seoul... So took plane... and we had Dunkin Donuts again! Haha.. =) ok... The actual plan was to go to Everland first... but it was a Sunday and Mina says that it will be too crowded... so changed the itinenary a bit... so we visited 南怡岛 first.... it's the island that 冬季恋歌 was shot... Yea... And we were greeted by this when we reached the island in a ferry...


Ok.. scenes of the show... coming up next... HAha...

Recognise the trees?~! Haha... anyway... the pose was set by mina... and every couple has to follow.. they are actually the poses that appeared in the show lah... eh... shall not disclose the rest to prevent my parents from embarrassement... Lol... =x But nothing is better than a family photo...


Other than these familiar trees... there are actually quite a lot of other things there lah... there's actually this statue of 裴勇俊 & 崔智友... and the Igloo that i slipped right in... dotz...


becos it's made of ice... and it's very slippery when the ice is melting... and i was wearing track shoes.. so when i tried to squad down and move inside... i just slipped thru and it's not easy to stand up... held on to the cold ice to get up... so what lah... cold lah!! Haha...

So after that we went for a little shopping again.. bought a pair of water proof glooves for snow skiing and a ear cuff too.... but apparently the ear cuff is a bit big for me... so din really use it... ya... And we too had our Baskin Robins ice-cream there...~ *yumx* Then after that travel for think 2+ hour to reach the resort at the foot of 雪岳山. And this is how we sleep...

the floor is supposed to be warm cos of some special thing they have... but in the end... not at all... rather i was cold for the night cos i slept right beside the window and wind was blowing hard that night...

Then we went to the hot spring after laying the bed sheets.... Hmm... one word... 爽 - Shuang! Haha... cool lah... but the sauna was... indeed hot... we only enter the 71°C room and i almost died.. Haha... even the first time i stepped into the 40°C pool... i struggled a few moments be4 accepting the temperature... so what u think.. Haha... We tried almost every other pool there lah... some got massage one some more... and lastly be4 we left for bathing... er-jie and i dip ourselves in the rose bath... which was... nice!! =) After all the dip it was really refreshing i will say... =)

Day 5
We set off quite early also... to another resort... this time.. is for the snow skiing!!! Yeah.. the most anticipated event of the whole trip... so excited... HAha... But be4 that we went to a national park first... Where... Jason tried to sit on a ice-sculped horse... and the whole thing dismantled.. lol...

Then.. to the snow skiing place!!

We had lunch be4 skiing... assemble at ard 1+... and we ski all the way till ard 4pm... It's tiring cos the equipments are heavy... the shoes are heavy... and we got to climb up the slope with those stuff... it takes like 2 minutes to get from downhill up to where we want to start skiing from... but it only takes a few seconds to ski down from there... dotz... at the end of the day... we started taking out our scarfs and sweater... cos it was too warm already... first time i kinda sweat inside there.. Hah.. But skiing is FUN!!!
Paiseh... no photos of us skiing cos the photos are with jason.. and we haven't got any yet... yupz..

And that night we actually had a small party at mina and sansan's room... mina made seafood shao bing for us... cos we had an early dinner... and we had a game of blackjack there... and Haha... the bet is ice-cream treat for everyone!! So the most lose one has to treat the others ice-cream the next day... initially i was the loser... BUT i made a comeback on the last round... and yeah~! i'm the second last instead.. heex.

Day 6
Ok... we are back in Seoul... this time.. the city of Seoul! =) Early morning we went to Everland... it's a family park lah.. got safari, rides, all those... and it was really fun there... we stayed that from 10+ till about 3pm...

This is a mixed-breed of tiger and lion... so the head looks like lion but the body has stripes from the tiger.. cool right... and the tigers and lions actually live together in the safari... there's no cages and no fences one lor... so we travelled in a tram and took photos of them..


And the bears there are cute too... but all they know is eat?~! HAha... cos they actually performed catching food from the driver... =x But a few knows like 'sit', 'stand', 'byebye' and can follow the instructions lah... so quite cool...

And there a 30th Anniversary Snow Parade going on there... which we had quite some fun taking pictures...

After that we lunched at BK... eh.. considered ex compared to sg also.. but nvm lor.... So after that still got about an hour... so we went to play the snow sledge... it's fun lah.. on our way there.. we found this...

Then it was time to leave.. and i bought this cute little creature from their shop... =)

Then the rest of the day was shopping at 东大门.. it's like a shopping centre but not really a shopping centre... Haha.. difficult to describe... but there's where i bought all the souvenirs from... and i bought a skirt like a few moments be4 we left the place... closed the deal in about 5 min.. cos also can't try... so just take lor... can fortunately i can wear.. Haha... tried it only after i came back..

After dinner... we went to the Seoul Tower... unfortunately there's haze that night... and we can't even see the peak of the tower from bottom... when we got up to the tower... supposed to see the night view of Seoul.. but all we see out of the window is nothing but haze...
The 2nd one is what the tower is supposed to be like lah... so it became so sian up there since we can't see anything.... what a waste...

Then we returned to the hotel we are going to sleep for the last 2 nights there... and oh man.. the hotel is really nice... and the rooms are beautiful with nice bouncy beds and nice pillows and a boster!! And Quan-ning ah-yi visited us in the hotel... She's married to a korean so she stayed and work there lor... she came with a bag full of stuff... we too gave her a bag full of stuff from singapore by her mother... and chatted till quite late... Then sent her down to the lobby...

Korea Trip -- Part 1

Argh...!!! Was blogging about the Korea trip when Er-jie accidentally pulled out the plug of the com and *blink* the screen went black... Dotz.. there goes my effort the whole night... Plus i'll nv rmb what i typed be4... But nvm... i shall be determined and start all over again!!

To start off... here's a group photo with everyone in...

Day 1
Set off rom home about 8pm.. Met Sansan... she's the sg tour guide who brought us there... but also her first time to Korea wor... Haha... And also another couple travelling with us... Kaige & Liyan. So ya... 10.30pm night flight... spent the night on plane... And shockingly the airline served DINNER at around 12am... after a snack shortly after the plane took off... it's RICE that they served for dinner... so siao lor... the rest of the time... was trying to sleep.. and i did lah.. haha...

Day 2
Reached Icheon Airport early morning... that's where we met Mina... our tour guide for Korea... then waited about an hour for the other couple to arrive cos they took diff airline from us... after that proceeded to another airport to another domestic flight to Jeju... While waiting to check in... We found Dunkin' Donuts!!! So we lay our hands on them quickly.. Heex... so we reached Jeju - 济州岛 around 10am... And we visited a tourist attraction immediately... the 龙头岩.

Then after that was Lunch time! (although it was only 10+.. haha..) We had Seafood Steamboat for the first meal in Korea..~!

Tada~!!! the seafood steamboat on the left and 6 types of kimchis - 泡菜 on the right.. i think that was the only meal that we had seafood.. but kimchis... everyday!! Just that they serve different kinds of kimchis... we were told that there were 200+ types of kimchis... Like every other thing can be made into kimchi lah..

Then visited a musuem where no photos were to be taken... too bad... then proceeded to a underground street called 塔洞街 to shop... but must say that the things there are not cheap... cos in the first place jeju is a volcanic island and is a place that doesn't have any factories for manufacturing... so everything they sell are imported from main land of Korea which resulted in higher pricing...

We checked in hotel around 4pm... and *pom* i went to sleep... =) was tired after the bad night flight with dunno how many turbulence met... and the early early morning... 2 hours later... time for dinner! Haha... this time we had mushroom steamboat! eh... nv take picture of it lah.. cos was busy eating and nothing much too.. heex... After that we went walking around... erm... nothing much on the streets... maybe we gone the wrong way or what... nonetheless... we found mac and so we bought ice-cream..! =) Saw KFC too... but find it quite ex... so even though someone was craving for it... we didn't have any throughout the trip... Then went to their supermarket be4 going back to hotel... bought a few packets of chips~ And we enjoyed them in the night in dad and mum's room... after we all bathe..

Day 3
Woke up quite early ba... had american big breakfast at the hotel rest. not fantastic but still quite nice.. then proceeded on the day's event... firstly.. to 城山日出峰. It's a peak of a underwater volcano... Very beautiful there... but cold too when the wind blows...
See!! i touched the mountain!! HAha... And the stone writes 城山日出峰.

Then we went to a few more places... 油菜花园，the All In shooting scenes - 涉地可支，then to a native village to look at the houses there... it's the shooting scene for Da Chang Jin at jeju i think..

This is how they filtrate the water long time ago... when it rains.. water will drip down from the tree to the leaf... then the leaf will trap some particles... then they put a few frogs into the tank to let them clean the water by catching the mosquitoes or whatever... but then the person say only can use for washing all that but not comsumption lah..

After that went for lunch.. had 黑猪肉.. it's very nice lah...

Then proceeded to the horse riding session... which we took a group photo (the first photo of this entry) and...

that's me on the horse!! =) Nice time back on horse back again after like so long from 1999 in Australia.

Then went to 正房瀑布.. very tall lor.. and the water flows right into the sea...
Jason's the only one among the 6 of us who when right to the foot of the waterfall... cos it's quite a long way there... and we had to step on the rocks... which was quite difficult for our boots...

Ohoh... went to the hotel that All In used too... and went into the Casino... Hmm... actually it's quite small.. and very little ppl inside... so... ok lor... but at least i've gone into one.. right?! Then took some pictures around the garden of the hotel lor... very cold wor.. haha... Ya.. i think that's all for that day... went for dinner after that le... then me and sis went back to the supermarket to buy ice-cream!! Haagen Daz.. Heex... plus a few more biscuits and nachos... Haha.

Hi!! I'm back... touched down Singapore Changi Airport at 6.33pm... eh.. a bit delayed actually.... And it took us a long long time to get out of the arrival hall.. haha... due to the fact that we were seated quite back of the plane... and we bought liquor from duty free shop... then took a long time to collect all our luggage... nearly left out one... luckily we checked... if not really will leave that bag there one lor... it's like we really have too many things to carry... other than the 4 checked in luggage, 1 hand carrier, 2 boxes... we each have a backpack... and 2 more and carrier and a few plastic bags...~! so took 2 cabs back... tired tired... but the trip is still fun! many first times... HAha..~! =)

Be4 Korea trip..

Ok... Finally down to updating... Erm... almost a week again.. HAha...

If i got to continue from last entry... i would say that the night was good... Start with the afternoon... Went down to HQ and saw Fook Wee for the first time... the guy who has been helping along... But came back to office shortly after lunch... After some slack slack time... went down to HQ area for dinner at an indonesian rest. (treat from another dept) Then after that proceed to Fort Canning for the rest of the night's prog. There's like KTV, pool, mahjong etc.... it's a club lah... first time there.. haha... Oh... met the other ppl from HQ also... Daisy who employed me over the phone etc. So i joined the KTV session first... sang a few safe songs... then i decided that the songs are seriously not new enough.... so be4 everything ended... played one and a half pool game with Caleb cos everyone's leaving... and i lost! too long nv play... must practise more.. HAha... So after everything was sent back home by Jesslyn.. she's the head of a dept i think.. =x Oh ya... my boss (peter) gave us each a red packet.. and the amt is quite a lot... hmm.. he's rich!! Haha... And Cher (the new girl) actually bought me a gift on that day also... a Eeyore hp accessory... the same one that Via got on christmas. So nice of her... =)

So sat as usual went Nus for prac... After going to all these orchestras to play.. really dun feel like going back to those schools or cc co.. =x i mean it's always more fun to play something more challenging than just practising the same old songs that i've been playing for years... right~?! That's what i like about going to nusco. and syco. the songs are just difficult enough to let myself know that i'm still not good enough and i need to learn more than what i know. And that day we got to lao yu sheng at ke ai ji... Haha... Kathy treat wor... and drinks huimin treat wor... so nice of them!!! =)

Then sun... went out whole day... first went tuan bai with nusco ppl... met at serangoon mrt... so sis and i took 24 all the way there and walk in... took us about 45 min altogether... so went to Mr Lum's house first... really quite near NY... stayed there for quite long... cos they have endless topics to talk about... then finally we proceeded to Kevin's house... had steamboat for lunch!! Wow.... nice nice... with Nianzhong getting all the good food from the plate to our pot... haha... But after that we left the group and joined our family at san yi's house... so we din go ba-shu, gu-po and qi-shu's house lor... So ya.. lao yu sheng there... abalone one wor!!! Haha... nice nice nice... But after some food and blackjack there... we went back to meet the group at andrew's house again... so we missed huiyan's house lah... Ya... so everyone was there liao... and they started playing games... oh man... i lost twice in the game... but the forfeit is like eating pineapple tart~?! Haha... but the winner got wine to drink!! both ok lah... but i quite suay lah... keep making wrong decision... too bad lor... then we all left ard 10+... cos ppl got work and sch the next day.. think i'm the only one zhuo-bo-ing... haha...

So mon, tues and wed i got to do what i want... mon just went out walk walk with parents after visiting the dentist... got a pair of glooves... tues went to get a pair of track shoes... mum paid for it! =) Finally i have a new pair of track shoes... cos the new balance one... the mouth got a bit open liao.. and they decided that it's dangerous to wear it there in case it tore halfway. so anyway bought a pair of reeboks.. Then went nus again... be4 that... travel down to indoor stadium to collect the printed tickets on behalf of er-jie... the person actually let me into their office.. Haha... cos er-jie has never been inside.. haha.. after that took a cab out to kallang mrt station.. and unfortunately!!! i dropped like 6-7 movie ticket stubs in the cab... and it drove away be4 i could ask the person who boarded to open the door... was damn sad lah... cos those were the movies that i watched in nov and dec.. and i liked them!! the only one left was Aeon Flux's ticket stub cos it dropped outside the cab instead of inside... =( so there goes my chicken little, narnia and perhaps love... sadz...

Wed went out on my own... hand in time sheet to gerlin... then head down to bugis... do some shopping... bought myself a pair of shades... purple lens wor.. haha... and after walking around... came back and bought 2 shirts... and some stuff for the trip... at night went to ntuc again to get more biscuits in case the food really doesn't suit me.. and it's of cos a high possibility that i dun eat the food... lol...

Today!!! laze around lah... just came back from lunch not long ago... cos was busy helping er-jie to compile a disc.. i forgot that the sony software and the discman doesn't read chinese!! and all my mp3s' are in chinese... so i got to find ways to change them into hanyu pinyin be4 burning... so stupid lor... luckily she didn't want a whole lot of songs if not i will die man... and updated my iPod too... with some new songs i got... =)

And later i'm going down to my dentist again cos the gums behind swell again... that day went only did 2 fillings.. cos the x-ray machine was down i think... and at that point of time actually the swell has gone down already... but now it's like back again... think need to get more medicine liao... sianz...

At work!! Heex.

You will not believe that i'm doing this in the office... haha... Oh.. din realise that it's one week after i last blogged.. Haha.. =X Looks like i'm way behind n cny update... lol...

Ok lah.. just briefly on cny... so chu xi that day... this year just happened to be a sat... went over 138(our family meeting place a.k.a uncle's house) for lunch.. after that came back... do the last min cleaning of CDs in the living room... very dusty ah... after that took a nap and off we go to 138 again for the reunion dinner... As usual we had steamboat session... still quite fun thou... after that stayed for a while and realised that we had to come home and wash the floor... HAha.. so me and er-jie came home... began to wash the floor after dad swept it again... actually i only wash our room, study room and living room where the first 2 are quite small with little floor space... and sis do parents' room and kitchen.. but in the end i washed the kitchen also wor.. but is after sis has done one round lah... bleahz~! Then she helped me paint my toe nails plus sticker also... :) and this time i think it's more durable than the last. haha.

Chu Yi.. this year is the first time i go to my godma a.k.a my si shen house early in the morning alone... But good too.. all their attention was on me... lol... no lah... but then so funny cos i nv call and say i will be going and my mummy is still having curlers on her hair... heex... then procedures for the day follows last year lah... visit the materal side seniors... just that this time not so much of taxi.. we like travelled mostly on mrt except for the last trip back from kor po's house was in cab instead of the Bus i took last year.. :) So at night father side ppl all at my house again after dinner at 138... they had gambling session... think first time ever... and er-shu won quite a lot..! Hmm.. when the last family left it was already past 12... power right.. but we were so so tired lor...

Chu Er... still.. as usual... go over to 138 around 11 cos of grandma's death anni... but wow... it's really lotsa ppl there... not enough space to sit lor... or even.. not enough space to move around... Haha... actually that's becos the flat isn't really big.. a 3 and a half room flat... if only it was still at 516.. last time that 5 room flat.. sure big enough... but 138 nearer... Haha.. =X Ok.. back to the topic... got it's the ocassion that even the further relatives come over too... which means they cannot run away from giving ang baos lah.. Heex.. This year got 2 more new ang baos from there cos one of my cousins wanrong-jie and the uncle ah-zhi shu shu got married last year end rmb!? Haha... so yea.. and i would say that they are rich! hehe...

Chu San would be quite different as compared i would say... went to laoshi's house in the morning.. it was kinda last min cos he would be free on only that day.. and it was the chu er night that i asked... so last min tell via.. and she asked yingning also lor.. we went considerably early already... reach there around 10... and to our horror... his house is already packed with ppl!!! but there's more to come lor... so imagine he already threw away his living room sofa... and he let his student go into the practise room and the extra room... the ppl that came later still didn't have a good place to sit down... so far so that they have to sit like at the door of the kitchen... and some got to stand in the kitchen.. haha.. but we were quite lucky to get ourselves seats in the kitchen on chairs... thanks to laoshi's wife... we were chatting there in the kitchen and we decided to sit there lah.. haha..

After that proceeded to yinghan's house... and what they started to gamble.. dotz... lost some money and decided not to try my luck anymore.. haha... ate lunch there before von, kim and chek come over my house... had some singing session... haha... von almost died when we started singing JJ's songs... Lol... they went back around 3+ 4... and i went for a nap... very tired... after that went to gu-gu's house for dinner... and they had gambling session again... which i joined in this time... and won some money..~ Heex... at least i earn back some taxi fare... haha...

Hmm.. so back at work...! The new girl, Cher, came on wed... and i taught like most of the things in less than a day.. Oh man... the rest of the time we just slack... and the bosses are all not around.. plus tommy also not around... Luckily there's cny celebration if not we will really be doing nothing man.. haha... Thurs also... only 2 of us in office most of the time... or even me alone when Cher sit in some agency meeting with Peter.. But lunch was on Peter.. i think it's cos of Cher lah... Haha... if not also dun have my share.. lol...

Then today... will be going down to HQ later... then at night got dinner too!! =) Wow... so blessed on the last day of work... at least i get a chance to see who i've been working with for this past month right... haha...

2 days be4 cny!

Finally it's CNY again... last year's really seems like ytd... How nice to receive blessings at a new year again.. =)

Oh... Finally gotten my pay on wed too... 3 weeks' worth of pay... hmm... $500+ only wor... after deducting CPF... Then what happened was... i took one day's leave on thurs... and went to have a haircut.. but eventually did rebonding again... Erm... and there goes more than one week's pay... tsk tsk... But still was happy after that cos my hair is straight again~! And this time i make sure that it will not only last for like half a year... or one year.. but even longer... and no way i'm going to do it again for the next cny.. should have no money to do so by then too.. haha...

Then went to dental.... Hmm... ran into some prob... the dentist says that firstly my gums are too weak.. 2nd... the wisdom tooth below is trying to come out but not enough space which resulted in swelling and infection... so he gave me medication (anti-biotics) and 2 weeks later got to go back for consultation... take x-ray... then decide if a surgery is needed... but he say... high possibility is need... dotz... at first i even thought it was because i had too much of heaty stuff that's why my gum swell... now i know.. haiz...

Anyway... on a lighter note... i went out again after dinner with da-jie... to tamp... eh... do shopping obviously and i came back with my desired stuff! =) 2 tops to go with my already-bought skirt... and another dress! i like the blue top from fond hugs lah.. although it's like quite ex. but it's on sales.. so nvm lah...~ then the other top and the dress from double index... quite to my liking too... at least i got something u see...~ =) And last stop... bought a pair of not very high heels at isetan... Oh ya... finally new heels... the old ones are all wearing out... or can say is worn out already...~ Haha... but of cos i'm so not going to waste the super high heels i've gotten... so i'm going to wear them for new year! =)

Hmm... how is new year going to be like? i reckon the first 2 days will be same as last year... so nothing much... but 3rd day... seriously i want to stay away from family just for one day... means to say go grp visiting with my friends... but this time with the ny clique... i mean like all these years i've been faithfully following my parents around while sis was the one who could live her own life... go where she like without being stopped and blah.. while i have to go thru my mum whenever i want to step out of the house without her... so how about a change?! i'm like 18+ already... can't i decide for myself sometimes too?~! i dunno... whatever.

Another week....

Yupz... back after one week... at least i make a point to come back at least once per week yea... Heex...~ Been a rather hectic week lah... with work... what could be good... Seriously studying is better than working... cos... study can slack more... Heex!

Hmm... last sat... before going for nusco prac... went to see sinseh again...~!! Eh... dunno what happened to my foot... (u're right... again..) so did acupuncture on the foot... actually is the area above the heel... pain wor... and somemore still got to put medicine and wrap up (bandage)... Bad... which means i got to go out with that thing!! Luckily i was wearing jeans long enough to cover the whole thing... nonetheless... it's not difficult to spot my baika-ness... Lol... oh.. the worst thing ever is that i came out walking with more difficult then before i went in... which means.... even more pain after i seen the sinseh... Dotz...

But ya... still attended the prac.. knowing my own standards... should be more guai and turn up for practice before they realise that i've been hun-ing for the previous practices... Lol.... And good for myself... at least i managed to play more than ever lah... Yea... But damn i go sabo-ed to sit quite in front for erhus... first they make me play erhu1.. then they make me sit 2nd row for erhu... but of cos in front still got gaohu lah... Ya... But still!!! Even er-jie sits like behind me outside~!? What the... suan le... take it as a mo lian for me... yes.. i need more practise..~ Hmm... prac Transformation for the first time.. the song quite cool lah.. just that some parts quite sian for the ban zhou.. =x other than that... ok lah.. HAha..~!

After that went to ke ai ji with the rest of the strings ppl left and 2 yq and a percussionist.... cos the rest all dun have that song... so after first half can go liao... Ya... so talked about a lot of things.. Lol... C&F. But a pleasant night... =) Oh... came home alone actually... cos er-jie went off early for her company D&D... Yea...

Sun... took out the bandage first thing in the morning... simply cos going out and obviously i dun want to walk out with that thing lah.... so ya... went to er-jiu's house for lunch... actually wanted to go for some shopping one lah... but in the end.. stayed there and mahjong-ed with 2 jies and jiaqi... Heex... played with some money lah.. think i lost.. din count how much i have at first... cos the money is er-jiu sponsor one.. lol.. i think we din go cos of my baika-ness (again) and also it started pouring later...

Then supposed to meet cogang at 6pm... but due to the downpour... the ppl inhouse ask me to wait and wait... till i see the rain not so heavy quick siam... And the weird thing is.. when got to the ground level... like no rain liao.. a few drops only!! Dotz... but then still late lah... wanted to take cab but no money... can't find atm also... then the bus took so long to come i dunno why... and still jam a bit on the way.. plus my a bit of baika-ness (not so bad liao)... so as a result i was late for like 20 min.. Lol.. So fine... at least the food wasn't bad... and not too ex... at least within my ability... =)

After that we walked to Cine... Wow... surprise i could walk so far!! without complaining.. so yea.. it's getting better i guess... Nono... went heeren first where some of them bought shoes... then go to cine to execute our neoprint plan... actually very long nv take with them le... erm... everything quite cute as we all can choose props for our own use... HAha... cool lah.. =)

Ytd.. went for first SY combine.. not exactly a combine session... cos mr quek conducted conducting lessons instead.. so ya.. all of us sat on the stage without any instru and scores... so we just listen and learn... erm... learnt something~!? Yea... i guess... supplement to what i already know... good..~

So ya.. that's all... guess tml will be first official lesson for sy... sectionals i mean... good luck to myself.. haha..~!

Today is the 1st time i went back to RE to hand in my time sheets..~ And man... i think i accumulated quite a sum from there... for like ard 3 weeks...~ So $$ in 5 Working-day's time..~! =)

Anyway ya... getting a bit more busy these few days... esp the small small favours that come from everyone... making me do things here and there lah... and today the damn internet down for like dunno how many times... and wow.. i complained!! Haha... cos usually i'm not a complain person u see... But ya.. it's like destructing my work... hopefully tml will be fine~

Eh... tml... was just being jio-ed to go back to ny to look at the new juniors~!! =) Dunno if i could get leave... so tml must quickly finish whatever i need to do in short notice... Heex... Wonder if sze ying has decided to join co...~ and mabel...~ Hopefully they do want to join co... cos it's the place i miss..~! i miss my friends and juniors there!! HAha...

Oh ya... last sat.. went to watch SCO concert... Erm... it was nice lah... =) But mainly focus on 2 conductors that night... who were Hu Bing Xu and Gu Li Min... cos the other 2 -- Xia Fei Yun and Qu Chun Quan were focused on the first night... but lucky us to choose the 2nd night... cos we get to see all the 5 conductors... plus Tsung Yeh lah...~ And more imptly he played the piano solo~! =) the day ended with me and via lining up for the autograph session... cos we might nv get to get theirs again~!? so didn't want to miss the chance.. HAha...~ And oh man... Xu Wen Jing laoshi recognised me~! dotz... Aiyo... next time cannot act dunno liao.. =x

Sun... slack... haha... went out to lunch at mac with sis... er-jie got the craving lah... she's full of crap.. Lol.. So we went.. then after that look ard bedok int.. for clothes.. haha.. oh.. i.e to go to the one of the few shops that sells presentable clothes... haha.. the one beside beside ntuc.. i dunno how many beside-s lah... Haha... And yeah~! da-jie bought me a skirt for CNY!! =) so half down... erm... 3 more sets at least~?! Haha...

Work and Work...

Hi~!!! Finally it's friday again~!!! =)

Hmm.... Actually nothing much... cos of work~?! i think so... This week... a quiet week still... The office is like the weather... so cold.. as in... not the temperature... but the atmosphere... then most of the time Peter and Vincent not in office... so like.. free lah... can slack abit lor... anyway... heard that Laurene left was bcos she can't stand the bosses... to mean the names mentioned above... but think should be one of them only lah.. haha...

But i'm actually starting to be afraid too... esp. if Tommy is not ard... last week it wasn't so bad... i still can handle small small request... but this week.. oh man.. i'm starting to see the faces of the agents... tsk tsk tsk... it's not good to be in this industry... Lol... But according to Tommy... some are ok... while others are difficult to deal with... he's really experienced lah... been there for 5 years... knows almost every agent there... which helps a lot to me lah... anything i can just ask him and he will help me solve also.. =)

The only not so good thing is... he insisted that i go church with him for once... just to see... like i mentioned the last time... he's a devoted christian... in the first place.. i dunno which church he's from... then... i'm seriously not interested lah... at first i still din reject lor... aiya.. quite stupid... esp when he asked have i been to a church be4... i said no.... dotz... whatever lah... only like 2 more sundays to go... Haha...

Then Gerlin from RE called me today... ask me to work for one more week... i said ok... but then come to think of it... am i stupid to do that too? i should have said that i want to consider first... cos... i wanted to keep myself free for that week de~?! Then now have to work liao... and not say the money a lot lah... but of cos it still adds to my savings... (hopefully). and i dun really feel comfortable working there anymore... The worst thing that is going to happen... another VP is coming over to the branch... so later i've got 3 VPs to serve..~ how to survive~?!

So guess how i survived over these days... listen to some light classical music that is... it sure helps man... just that.. cannot too loud lah.... and try not to turn on when peter or vincent is ard lor.. then... and if ppl ask things that i dunno.. let Tommy handle or refer them to Fok Wee over at HQ lor... And today... New tasks! All come together... Have to write CNY cards somemore... Lol... really is like do everything and anything lor... and ya.. they come at odd timings... really..~

Anyway i have given her my word liao.. not very nice to withdraw now right... plus it's one more week only lah... if still nobody comes and take over... then too bad lor.. i'll have to leave... cos... family planning to go for a holiday.. and i certainly choose the holiday over work... one more week of work is just to fill up the days and make myself occupied... and it's 3 days for that week only!!

ok.. That's all of the complaints lah... tml going nus prac.. then to SCO concert!! Yeah..~!! Tsung Yeh playing piano.. cool cool cool... Hmm.. first time my whole family watching a SCO concert together... =)

A few days nv update.. Ya... that day fri took my boss' car out for lunch... cos he took half day.. then he driving out le mah... so offered the ride out.. His car quite cool yea..~ And ya... finally more constructive things to do... after the net came... with my email... and did the stuff lor... Then dunno why my boss came back somewhere late afternoon to do some budget stuff... then i help him do the table thing lor... when actually i'm not quite sure with tables.. but just try my luck lah... and... i did it..! i'm so surprised myself... Lol... so i ended work late lor... dotz...

Ytd... went down to NUS for practice... it was kinda bad for me.... Lol... cos nv prac at home... plus sight reading not v good... plus the number notes v small... and no fingerings to follow.... so... the whole thing was bad.. and i had an idea! To convert the whole song to wu xian pu! But let's see when we have the time.. Haha.... =x

So after prac as usual went for dinner at ke ai ji... erm... and these ppl are just amazing cos they will have endless things to laugh about... Oh ya..~ I paid for dinner ytd!! Cos er-jie was talking on phone when the food came... so i had to pay..~ Dotz!! and it's not v cheap kae... like $13 bucks... i've been saving lor... then had to do this... Bleahz! Hmm... sat there till like ard 11... wanted to go home liao.. but then weixun realised that his bag was gone! just like 10 min be4 he was still carrying it... cos they were still discussing something about the concert... then 10 min later when we really want to go off liao.. the bag was gone too..~ I mean... it's quite bad that when so many ppl is there... the person still dare to take it lor... somemore it was such a big hand carry luggage bag lor... it's like so unbelievable... And the suspect... we can't find the person... we took can't find the bag anywhere near the coffee shop... so what to do... only could give up... luckily he doesn't have very valuable stuff inside... those are stuff at his hall... other impt stuff is in his backpack... if not.. that's really bad...~

Finally, entry for the new year~

Finally i even have the energy to type here... been away for a 3 days' chalet... and what happened... i came back falling sick... should be due to the fact that i din get to sleep for both of the nights... and even the day be4 chalet... i slept late... So ya... that was bad... However... the whole thing was fun and unforgetable ba..~ Esp. during the nights... =)

Sat... made Tiramisu with via in the morning... and we couldn't rush to meet the rest at 2.30... Heex... so we went on our own... went to rent vcds first... rent 4 of them... Scobby-Doo movie, Son of the Mask, Mean Girls and The Exorcist... then met melody since she also going le... so we took 17 and slowly we got there... Haha... in the end we were like one of the latest.. heex...

Then they say want to go marina watch fireworks... oh man.. most of us went in berms and slippers can... but since we have each other's company... we dun care lah... Haha... so we headed to marina sq in a gang of 10.. Lol... had LJS for dinner... cos we low budget?~! Haha... but we still had Ben's and Jerry's ice-cream after that.. lol... so ya lah.. walked over to suntec just for the ice-cream... Heex... nice wor... we shared like 6 scoopes of ice-cream lah... and crapped with the person serving us... while we waiting for the waffer... He damn crap lah... so we crapped back.. =x After that bought just a bottle of mineral water and went to marina de open space to find a good spot... Denise (yushi's friend) joined us halfway... And then we wait and wait and wait for 12midnight to come...~ Finally! But to find out that we were blocked by the building... so keep moving to the front so that we can see..~ the fireworks were v v nice lah..~! =) Then we took train back.. ya.... was like running thru the space btwn ppl when we were in citylink cos we were separated from the others... so 5 of us behind just run like mad huh... but hey... that was the fun part u know.. other ppl will never understand...~ Haha..~

we walked all the way back from pasir ris... each of us bathed and it was movie time... oh wrong.. it's mahjong time.. Haha... originally they were watching exorcist.. but i think it wasn't quite easy to understand... so they stopped.. Haha... then watched Son of the Mask after the game of mahjong ended cos char wanted to sleep liao... But after watching half the show.. most of us fell asleep too... including me... Haha... cos the position was too difficult for me to sleep in... i was half off the bed liao lor... and that's thanks to melody.. haha...~ So in the end i woke up after like 10 to 15 min... by that time.. it was nearing to 6... as usual... the ones who din get a place on the bed to sleep -- me, daijing and yushi... decided to go out for breakfast and then come back to sleep after that...~ so yeah... got to sleep a bit after half the population went out for breakfast and then to sheng song for grocery shopping... =)

But guess what.. by the time they were back.. we were already watching movie... 2nd half of Son of the Mask and then Mean girls and Di Xia Tie after they were back...~ So after the show.. it's almost time for bbq lah.. so we started to tidy up the room, prepare the food... and some went down to start fire soon after... but dunno why it got to rain... on the day of our bbq.. dotz... in the end... we moved to the shelter that actually says... no bbq-ing.. Haha... but i guess who cares right... erm... almost finish all the food... (after forcing the guys to stuff down those satays. Haha..) But if only more ppl had come... guess all of us were quite disappointed by the response ya...~

Went up to room after most of them left... only left jon, bern, zhongming and jy there... so watched the 2nd hour of vampire 3... then screened Howl's moving castle and i think lastly Scobby doo... Haha.. i can't rmb.. but i think din finish SD also lah.. and we started gaming on mahjong again... but then ling's tiles too small for me to handle huh... Lol... so in the end we played bridge instead... but then also sianz le... wanted to go downstairs since the guys haven left yet... and all the others sleep liao... but ling wanted to sleep... so horng, via and i went down... with the pack of cards... guess we could really do with that pack of cards.. it kept us occupied all the way till morning 7+... and believe it or not... i'm so called the overall winner for both the games played... HAha... The A**hole Daidee... and the horng's version of heart attack.. think i was too tired to talk too huh... for the heart attack... and for daidee... think i'm the only one who didn't get to the last position be4 for daidee.. Lol..~!! But it's really the game's process that is extremely fun lah.. HAha...

Ok.. so due to the fact that i also the only one that din sleep for both nights... i came back and *pom* i went to sleep.. only woke up for lunch and dinner... and back to sleep again! haha... such pig right... But then again... i wasn't so much a pig yet cos i still woke up on tues with a slight headache... and later in the afternoon even worse... i'm running a temperature... =x but i din want to leave work.. cos there wasn't anyone else in the office... but it's good cos i can rest a bit here and there.. just that... i think i got worst after i stepped out of my office heading home at 6pm... heavy headed... came home and measure my own temperature... 38.47 after i bathe!! oh man... so after dinner took panadol and *pom*... went to sleep...

Getting better today... no fever... a bit of headache.. just that my voice is not so pleasing.. Haha.. i dunno why lah..~ but anyway.. that's all i have to say... And oh! Thanks to all who have came and had fun with us... but sorry if there's anything we din do nicely or what...=) Yinghui, jielin, yanru, han, cuifen, weiye, jon, bern, zhongming, jy, xianwei, jinhui, congkai, and whoever i left out... i hope none..
