OCBC Cycle 2010 - I survived

Alarm goes off at 4am of 7 March 2010.

(Actually i turned it off and only woke up at the alarm from my sis' phone. LOL!)

Soon we are on our way in a cab to the F1-pit. Reached there slightly before 5am, waited for the rest to arrive and went to get our bike. My first instinct was, bike quality is not bad, looks new, better than those we usually rent at ECP. The whole bike is rather new with the better kind of gear control grip and rather new seat too. Just that. it's really hard.

Flag-off for 40km was at 6am. But by 5.45am, a lot of bikers have already gathered at the starting point ready for the race while we were still having our drinks and food from Starbucks counter. Oh at least we had something before going off.

Good thing the weather was really good. And probably cos it's very early in the morning. No sun yet. Feels damn good cycling. Sometimes i feel myself going too fast but every other second another person overtakes me! Haha. Stopped once to have a drink. That's all. Some motivators really did their job well and it does make a difference. :D The fast riders too give me some motivation to go faster. And that's probably why we finished the whole race much earlier than we expected of ourselves.


Yea. Quite proud of myself. haha! Maybe my category got lesser ppl. Women 19-24years old. Haha!

My bib no. and medal. Heard last year's medal was gold. This year is silver. Like downgraded. hahaha!

National Day 09

National Day is just over and yup. Kinda enjoyed it. :)

Cycling in the morning with some NUSCO ppl - Eric, Sanmin, Yuhui, Hweeling + bf and Zhenqiang. We really thought they wanna cycle to Sun Plaza sia... But in the end was Sun Plaza PARK lah.. dotx right. lol. And ya.. that's in tampines. lol. It took us almost 2 hours to get to the destination from Kembangan. Quite good a cycle.. but weather was not quite the best condition? cos too humid and sun shining with its utmost effort near to noon. tsk tsk. and no sun block. -.-

But still the whole thing was quite fun esp if u see the 2 guys cycle across the other ppl's path dangerously. luckily i was in front. haha. when we reached the park.. it was ard 12.45pm.. Returned the bike and walked to TM. Waited for suyi and yihui to come from their cycling. haha. wenxiang came to find us for lunch.. at KFC. oh man.. all exercise gone. lol!

After that decided to come over for a little Wii game... i went to borrow 2 more controllers from Horng. Er ya.. i just called her house and ask if i can borrow. lol! quite funny lah. =P Anyway.. took some videos and will upload when i have the time. :)

After they left, we Wii-ed for a while more before NDP starts. Yea. it was good lah really. although watching there live was better... we get to see the faces more clearly on the tv. haha!

And yup. that's for national day! Happy holidays everyone! Still got 1 more day holiday mah. :)

Allure 2009

Some backlogged events not updated. =x

Last Sat went to watch nusco concert with er-jie.. wasn't quite the original plan... haha. cos i wanted to go to eawards party instead... but the weekend before that.. huiyan asked if we want the 2 tickets she had left... so we went lor..

But well... the concert turned out to be better than i expected.. haha. i feel that the audience rate of a concert really depends on repertoires played.. and this concert is pretty much well received. :) i think i still prefer traditional repertoires. haha! So sometimes orchestra should not try to be funny to play some dunno what songs. =x

For nusco, i haven't been sitting downstage for a long time... like 4 years?! lol! mei xiang dao i also perform with them for so many years liao. and it really feels a bit different... and i guess it will be the same in future when i stop going to sy ba.. And actually i feel prouder on stage. haha! But whatever lah... quite lucky i didn't join them this year... really busy until i want to die liao.. still want to take saturday away meh... not like my saturdays are free too lah. hais.

Anyway... weikang was on stage... much to our surprise... haha! We were sitting quite in front... (behind Mr. Phoon and the pianist's family). haha. so we managed to catch his attention when they just came out... and we were gesturing to each other like... why i not performing and blah blah blah.

The first repertoire, which was composed by Mr. Phoon, was a commissioned piece by nus. erm... not really a bad piece.. but it's the theme kept on repeating... and they played it like twice.. the opening repertoire and the encore piece... -.- so i kinda got the tune stuck in my head for the rest of the night. haha!

Pipa solo was good too... considered the fact her hand/arm was injured some time ago... it's commentable. :) And i think huiyan is getting used to it... or even... liking the feeling of being a soloist. haha!! Somehow i think she played this better than cao yuan... good for her. Jia you ba. :)

Fei Tian was still kinda scary.. lol!!! But better than the last time we heard lah... lol. And it's like one of my fav songs... haven't heard it 'live' for a long time. yea...

Tian shan was ok too... except for a few notes which went off a bit... but other than that it was an enjoyable song to listen to... i think she sure will have chances to solo again... perhaps on a bigger scale.. then plus the good piano accompaniment... not bad leh!

Last repertoire was Yellow River. Omg. if i were the soloist i would have been really nervous.. cos EVERYONE can see my hands through the projector. First time i see something like that. they actually put a dv beside the piano to capture the soloist's hands onto the projector. it's like damn cool. but quite scary too. haha. some of the chords he might have gotten wrongly... but i think overall it's still a very good performance.

And that night we had very very good audiences!!! No one clapped before the song ends. I was so pleased... hahaha... And this shows that almost all or most are music veteran... and so they know... the concerto hasn't ended yet. I love this kinda audiences because they dun disturb the musician. if someone clapped. i think i will roll my eyes. lol.

After that... stayed a while to talk to some nusco peeps... well... no more supper cos concert ended like 10+pm. Missed the days which we have the concert in the early evening... Better! dunno why they wanna change. sians...

But if there's the time and chance... i think i want to go back there to play again. i mean... it's where i gain a lot of sight reading experience afterall.. and through the concerts which feature very traditional CO songs... i've learnt to like them too... rather than these really new ones. =x So i dun really mind. somemore the ppl there are like... also know for abt 5 years liao... why not? if not enough erhu ppl next time.. can find me. haha!

Anyway. That's all. Thesis is going on well... i hope. =x

National Day weekend is full of fun!

Pretty obvious i haven't been updating for a few days already... although i'm like rather tired now... but if i dun update... everything will be like accumulated and i will nv do it then.. haha!

Ok. Had a wonderful national day!! With the beloveds for half of the day and half of the beloveds for the 2nd half. haha! I think it's a bit confusing... but nvm lah.. =P So we went off to suntec for lunch at the ramen rest as a celebration for jan's bday... Ok.. i think this time the experience is better than the last ba... haha! Ramen without spicy soup is still better for me ba. hee. Anyway suntec was really crowded but the rest is really quiet... haha!! So next time... actually dun need to reserve seats le. food is all right... i guess it's better now... And u all know what... the next day i met another grp of friends and we were talking abt the rest... one of them ate 6degrees of chili leh!!!! I couldn't even eat 1. haha -.-

Then after that.. proceed to next stop... Chocz... ok.. quite empty too.. haha! Had our cake for the birthday girl there... Nice wor... but too sweet for charmaine... tsk tsk. I think it's good.. it's a heart-shaped chocolate truffle cake. And just nice got 10 chocolate balls on it... so we were all entitled to one! haha. After singing the song and blowing out the candles.... here comes my little present for the bday girl... Eh... I just rmb i started doing it after i finished typing the last entry.. so that's probably like 1am? I hand itchy lah... so i do all the way till like 7am. =x And mum actually woke up and asked me if i got sleep. i said 'yes' and i lied. =x But i'm happy with the outcome and i think the rest like it too! Right? 我的心意和努力是不会白费的... :)))

After the cake... some went off le... left the few got nothing better to do de... roam ard... and decided to catch the fireworks but still very early... went to TCC for a drink.. wah liao... i think the drink i order should have very little coffee leh... cos got chocolate and rose... but then dunno why still quite strong for me.. haha! But hor... i also can confirm it didn't help in keeping me awake cos i really very tired and perhaps yawned for one of the most times in my life when i'm out. haha. It's really non-stop as it gets later and later... Seriously... cos i fell asleep damn fast on the way home on bus. I dun even know what yushi was doing beside me.. haha!!

Ok.. back to the fireworks... They are really beautiful... And for quite some time... i've bringing my cam along to any fireworks display and of cos it's a pity not to capture them for collection purpose... but then again... everytime i do that... i will be looking at the fireworks thru the lens most of the time and actually i felt that i missed the most beautiful moment of the fireworks although i had them in visible memory. This time... i didn't bring cam along... and i didn't take out my phone to take pictures... I felt that it's the best i seen. You might wander why ppl still likes to watch fireworks even thou it might be the same every year... Being at the place itself is really different.. the loudness of the fireworks could be deafening but it's really 振奋人心的一刻... haha. very hard to describe... but cool lah! Hee.

Then sunday... went out to klunch with some nusco peeps... eventually some didn't turn up cos couldn't wake up... sis and i were kinda late cos we can't find parking space. haha! But anyways... had quite a good time... Then our initial plan was to go sentosa after singing.. but unfortunately it was raining... on and off.. And so unluckily... the car couldn't start cos according to the person we called... the cold weather could have caused the battery failure... and so we waited there for the person to come and the rest had to cab down on their own first... There are a lot of funny moments within but nvm.. lazy to elaborate..

So anyway... we had early dinner at Kim Gary HK cafe at like 4pm?! haha. either 3rd or 4th time there... but now good leh.. the baked rice not so salty liao... I will still go back there de lor... yeah... Sat there for quite long wor... discussing abt some business opportunities and the possibilities... quite cool for an idea.. the next thing is they have to really start doing it... cool.

Then... we came out of the hk cafe dunno what to do.... So they suggested going for some drinks... Eh.. didn't we just ate!? hahaha. It's just sat lah... keep eating and drinking... just that most of us didn't eat at the ms hk cafe after the fireworks. -.-''' Yup... so we proceeded to the next stop which was Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant... good ambience i would say... beer not bad too.. sausages not bad too... but in the end sis and i couldn't finish the 1L... a bit wasted. haha!

Now... monday... original plan was to go out in the aftn... but in the end didn't cos of various reasons... so in the end i nua-ed at home... and then meet yushi, siyih and qin for dinner thou qin didn't eat... Had New York New York... Hmm... quite a hearty meal for it... and also a rather expensive one.. lol!!! feel a bit bad after that... =x Then went on to a very impt mission for the night... glad that we have enough time to prepare everything although it became a bit chaotic when the time is nearing... haha! Surprise surprise for the bday girl once again!! :))) Who knows... maybe she happy until she cannot sleep that night. hahaha. =P So jan... how's today? Enjoyed and feel happy??? Heex. (just a side note: we killed 3 mosquitos in ur room ytd.. and there were more flying ard)

Dear girl... Hope u will be in ur best of health to take care of urself, ur family and also ur lovely children.. dun bully them lah... lol. And u have been a great friend all along!!! Doing up the bday boards for each of us... cracking ur head for ideas... And nv fail to entertain us. Oops.. that doesn't sound like a compliment. Nonetheless... U are a unique one to us... LOVE YA!! Happy 21st Birthday! And 祝你幸福~ :)))

One week after nusco concert. haha

It's been a week since the concert... I really wun say it's a VERY good one... but ya... after all it's still the effort of everyone present. I was all tired by the end of the day...

Reached there ard 12.30pm.. changed and whatever... then rehearsal... dry run plus the whole concert runthrough.... ended ard 5pm... had dinner with er-jie... she's probably quite bored. haha. at least she went cos she was sitting alone. but i can also see that she quite entertained by the 3 ppl sitting in front of her... kept talking to them.... from my view lah.

For me... first half was quite boring.. cos we only performed the first song... then it was the guests' performance.... so we sit in the concert comm room and slack and talk... the enjoyable thing abt going to nusco is really that u can talk to anyone there... basically they are very friendly... :)

Yupx... I shan't comment too much abt the concert... cos whether good or bad it wasn't up to the performers to decide... as long as we have done our best.. ok.. maybe it wasn't my best... but i'm sure i was very ren zhen during the concert time.. and anyway it's over.. isn't it? =P The concert ended 10pm and rush rush to take grp photo and off i went rush off... change and then followed sis and her friend for some drinks.. ended up in dempsey hill's ben and jerry's... it was good! yeah...

Ya.. that's all.. thanks andrew for the stalk of rose... quite surprised... now the flower is dying already. haha! =x (oh.. i just went to the kitchen and saw that it has landed inside the rubbish bin. haha!)

Sunday was quite a good day too... although there's project meeting in the morning... went all the way to bishan since most of them are nearer to that area.. ok... this isn't the main point for the day of cos...

The main thing is... i went to S-pop Hurray! Concert that night with my 2 sis!! :))) It was good lah... and of cos like everyone said... we can see that we do not know why we need someone on stage that can't sing live... but whatever lah.. at least get to see JJ... haha! But we left earlier cos er-jie says she tired and hungry! so didn't manage to catch the last hour... and didn't catch JJ's closing performance also. We went simpang bedok to prata then home lor...

Let's skip all the boring work and study days... and so ytd we went to visit SSO. It was i can say a very good session... cos the speaker shared a lot of her experiences with us... There isn't any theory set in the whole session... taught us some valuable lessons. how to deal with musicians (or artists in general)... and dealing with every other situation. I think i've learnt something from the session.

Ok... and so i went to work after that... probably the last day of my work... haix! Since the full-time is already going to be transferred and should be leaving the company soon... I dun see the point in staying... afterall i need to get something closer to my studies.... i worked becos of all the ppl i know... but since it's like that.. then maybe it's time to let go also.

TODAY! going down to nusco later... for post concert-reception. :) Ok... Bye!

The busy days Part 1

Finally back to update... still very tired... but i thought i ought to update a bit.. be4 the contents get too much! Omg... i actually have to backtrack till thurs!!!

So ya.. last thurs... field-trip to POST-Museum for gallery mgmt class... walked under the hot sun with my 'lao gong' for some time before realising that it is nearer for me to take bus 67 there than taking train to farrer park then walk over. dotx. waste time and money leh!

Ok... actually it's not exactly a museum... according to what the person described.. it's more like a space than a gallery or museum. So anyway we were brought to walk ard that area... including the back alley which is supposed to be very active only at night. (if u get what i mean). The walk took abt 20-30min... super hot weather. Then got back to POST and have some discussion grp thing.. which we all know what it is for... but well... it shows that we have brains and creativity. (to put it in a nicer way of cos) haha! I mean... we all know that lah... so nothing much.

Went to nusco prac after that... good thing still have time for dinner... Subway-ed. luckily saw yongxin there after i started queuing for a while... well... i need her student card and she can get her food faster.. so why not right? Well... prac wasn't VERY bad. haha. but since i can't go the next day... i went on thurs night lor. Prac ended ard 10pm.. stayed ard for a while to take tix and talk... wanted to cab back... then actually got someone going back bedok also.. so i thought we could train tgt... in the end she wanted to bus back... and so... i took a train! and i was freaking tired. haix. But ok.. save money cos the cabbing parts will come in later. =x

Fri.. dim-sum-ed with family at East Ocean! :)) They cabbed there first since we can't squeeze into 1 cab... i wanted to take a train... but in the end decided to hunt for easter egg for a while more and so i cabbed there also. =P Reach there liao... like OMG! A LOT of ppl standing at the entrance to the rest. I had to like 'excuse me' so many times to finally get into the rest to look for their table. dotx. BUT food is still as nice as ever. i mean that explains the long queue right.. Heng we booked in advance given our experiences. haha!

Then went to jiewan's bday party at aloha loyang after shopping ard for a while. wanted to get new shoes but all no size. sad sia... But in the end they still managed to get another membership card! Like dotx. which family needs 3 same membership card of a shop?! But giving to someone else lah... :) Ok.. back to the bday party... when i reached.. jiale, ruth and shirley were there already... so we waited for the rest of her guests to come. food is not bad... cake is nice... the deco very nice too! :)

That was like the first 21st bday party i attended this year... lol. So after like almost 3months... none of my 21-yr-old friend had any party lor! haha. hope there are more to come.. cos i think i enjoyed them! :))) Anyway... left ard 10pm with jenny... walked out trying to look for a cab.. it was only till more than halfway out then gotten a cab... better than nothing lah.. so i cabbed home. lol =x

OK!! i think i really need to sleep... continue again. =P

Relaxing... still?

I think this is probably the last week being able to still idle ard for a while everyday... playing (fluff)friends.. joining in the easter egg hunt... haha! (it's quite fun anyway)

I'm so going to foresee that i'm going to have a sleepless week somewhere. haha! But ok lah... i have to start on some now.. since some are due earlier. Yup. Hope i can finish the essays by next week.. so that can do all my projects... Ah... it's really going to be easier said than done. lol. =x And unfortunately... it's really a lot to be done... like must they do that to us this semester?

Anyway... syco prac ytd was with maestro... not bad actually... he started with an intro of the piece - Gada Meilin... Actually i think sometimes they like to teach students because they can talk and share more... cos usually the adults wun entertain the conductor doing that... haha. =x The session was fruitful thou. gives us a better idea... and yao laoshi so cute... he suddenly disappeared after listening to us for a while.. and actually returned with a gaohu to play with us. but the sad thing is that he said he can't read the jian pu.. haha. But ya.. i believed he could have done better if it was in manuscript... even best he tried to talk to rudy... in chinese. they practically couldn't understand each other. so in the end have to turn ard and ask us. but it was quite fun lah. :)

Nusco concert this weekend... quite fast... but i think it's better to get it over and be done with also lah... this year's songs not all nice... in fact it doesn't seem like the focus is on nusco... there are 3 other collaborations... Prof Koh of NUS, a Uni from Malaysia and Zheng Professionals. so ya... it's quite slack.. haha. but this year quite sian... cos sis not performing.. think joyce not performing also... then the rest of the usual ppl.. mostly in concert com. dotx. But perhaps the last time i'm going to perform with them... unless sis is going again next year. (which i doubt so)

Ya.. think that's all at the moment. Will be back soon!

Oh-oh! Today is my father's birthday!! :)) HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!! Hope you will stay healthy and happy! :))) not like he will see this lah... but i will still hope that he stays healthy and such, after all he's not as young as i think he is anymore.

CO and 幸福言

Today (sat) was quite fun... went back to nyco again! :)))

Casper called me in the morning while i was on the bus and ask me if i'm awake already. DOTX. scolded him. haha. reached ny abt 11am. hee. originally i said i wanted to reach at 10.. but apparently i left my house at erm.. 10.15? =P At least i nv put aeroplane today ok. :) Played tian shan with them again.... trying to prac for my nusco prac after that lah. haha. didn't manage to hear them play the new song... perhaps next time lah. hee. Had lunch with casper and zhiwen be4 going to nus.

Reached nus quite early too.. be4 3pm at least. haha! And i went in be4 they started their practice! Err.. first time in the last few weeks. =x Anyway... i realised i have to prac more. haha! And i realised... actually they do not really need me there anyway... cos guest players are supposed to be very zai.... very this one here is quite lousy.. haix. so ya... i should prove my worth there... yeah.

Had dinner with a very small grp of ppl... had some laughter and weird discussions... somehow i just feel that there's nothing they can't share btwn the grp. and it was fun in a way... and that is what i enjoy being with the nusco ppl. :)


很多人说："幸福要自己争取"。问题是当我还没有得到幸福的时候，我怎么知道那就是我的幸福？如果我知道纠缠是没有结果的，请问我还要自己争取吗? 如果争取到了才知道那不是幸福，请问争取的过程中所付出的是值得的吗？

《恶作剧之吻》是我一直爱看的偶像剧。我真的很钦佩湘琴的毅力。他为了自己心爱的人可以付出那么多，那么多。虽然她很笨，但这种精神却让人感动! 我自问是没有她这么有恒心。她竟然能暗恋 （或者说是明恋) 一个人那么多年 （7年），而且是在对方又对她很冷淡的情况下还是那么坚持，真的很不容易。although i'm not as brave as her... i've tried very hard for my last crush for a rather long time too... afterall it didn't work out.. and maybe it's better becos i dunno if that is my 幸福。but no doubt i've stopped the 自己争取 spirit in me... not willing to find myself dropping into a 深渊again.

To speak the truth... 就算我现在有喜欢的人，我是不会向他示好的。就算我需要一个人在身边，我也不会说的。因为我怕失去。

Into the new year and new sem

Time really flies... one week passed just like that... how much things happened in this whole week can't be compared with what happened today... anyhows... i shall start from where i stopped the last time. haha.


U might think that i'm crazy but i went to kbox again on 1st jan with 3 precious ppl from nyco... jon, emily and yingying. too bad ds was on duty... even thou jon claimed that he had sore throat... he participated very well... haha! We were rather high thou it's in the afternoon... thanks to emily... but she got tired later... lol. anyway... it was really fun time with these ppl and i have no idea when will we be able to meet up again. but i hope... soon! I really miss the times after co every sat... that's the reason for my very good attendance for co in my jc life... these few ppl nv failed to make my life in nyco colourful and full of laughter cos prac is always boring. =x Well... zhiwen dun take my words too seriously. haha!

Then it was work and break and work the next 3 days... Finally went to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks on thurs with my sis, her bf and sylvia... Really slow i know... but i insisted on going to the theatre to watch instead of watching online lah. lol! Yea.. i'm rich! and i'm joking. =x

Sat went for nusco prac... actually it wasn't a very long session... cos some ppl have to prac for a concert happening next week.. there wasn't a lot of ppl either... but i thought it might be a good idea for me to show face once in a while... since there's no prac next week.. and i dunno if i can make it the following week. heex. So i was surprised that i could play tian shan!! haha! the last time i touched my erhu was like almost a month ago. the erhu bag was covered in dust. and both the strings snapped... haha. =x

Then was a meet up with mingyan like finally!!! went for a bbq at her house... met some of her friends and thou we do not know each other... had fun too. just talking and whatever. in the end geraldine went too... she was shocked cos we just saw each other during nus prac? haha. it was long since i last met up with mingyan lah... reminds me of our primary school days. too bad she's going back tmr... if not i would have asked her to the rss gathering!

Last but not least... Today was a really busy and tiring day... i packed up my table... not yet ready to be moved out.. but soon it will be! the last drawer to be cleared... actually a bit bu she de lah... but i know i dun use it very often... so might as well.. Just that in future there's no more table for me to anyhow put my things... esp. my clothes... haha! so perhaps things wun be lying ard my room table anymore cos shelves will be taking over... yup.

Then i dunno what's wrong with my family but some noise woke me up from my nap just now... i guess my parents are so much into some cold war... just becos of a toothbrush. ridiculous. this was what happened... (i think.. cos i was sleeping) my dad was trying to get my xiaoshu (who just came to stayover) a toothbrush to use for the night... i dunno what the argue nor the situation was when my mum got into a range. all i knew was i heard a loud clashing sound.. so immediately i got up and went to the kitchen.. thinking nothing was wrong. but actually it was the mirror at the basin that broke off from the cupboard... can't be fixed back anymore... the irony was.. my xiaoshu actually brought his own toothbrush. thanks. i think my mum's upset with my dad's attitude and the tone he speaks in. but i just dun like it when she keeps repeating and harping on the same matter. i'm upset cos it's only a very trival matter and it has to be blown up like that. but sometimes i would rather i not say anything to make matters worse. well.. no family is perfect anyway.. i guess they will be ok soon. (pretend u didn't see this paragraph... i'm ok too.)

Anyway... school is starting... TMR!!!! Timetable is bad!!! So sad that this sem i have to go to school EVERYDAY~!! it's like one class per day. what a waste of time. haix! whatever. 15 weeks will be over very fast! :) NITEX.

NUSCO Bbq!

Hmm.... with the many boring days that went passed... finally there's one FUN night with the nusco peeps.. Bbq at Peiying's house... which is all the way at Bukit Batok... haha!

Met peiying, joyce and hweeming earlier in the aftn since i had nothing to do... erm... but i was still late...due to the irritating burns... and cos the dark dark layer of skin decided to start peeling today... i had much more to do.. haha!!! So still met them at IMM and cabbed back to peiying's house... since i dunno how to go also.. haha!

So we prepared some stuff while waiting for the others to come... Yuhui started the fire.. it was her first time and she succeed at one try! WOW. So yea... the whole thing carried on smoothly... thou the area was super crowded cos all the bbq pits were occupied.. So had some nice chats with ppl now and then... cracked some stupid jokes... and prepared some food too.. the fish.. and the crabstick cheese... but after that was too lazy to do more.. haha!!!

Finally met up with some long-time-nv-see ppl there... some like ever since the concert.. which was abt more than 3 months ago.. Like Andrew, Eric, Nianzhong, Yuhui, Helen, Kevin.. erm... but saw kevin at Sakae the last time we met for Kbox.. just that he was with his grp of friends instead.. Hmm.. anyway... Good time... always have lotsa laughter and blah blah blah... all the craps and coldness and whatever.. (i dun mean the drink). So in the end Royston went to pick sis and i back. :) And Peiying actually treated us to the whole thing.. like omg! All i could say is that they are really very nice ppl... Cos in the first place she didn't invite us over.. we just say that we should go over for a bbq before she flies to USA for further studies... and now she refused to take our money...

Hmm... anyways.. hope to see them again soon! :)))
