今天重新看了《等一个人。咖啡》。
因为读了原著小说，内容很不一样，但在读的时候，一直在用想象力把故事的情节和电影的人物连起来，所以一边读的时候，仿佛已经忘了电影版是什么样子，就想再看多一遍。
电影跟小说的内容差蛮多的。人物的关系也有不同。而且，书里的故事和人物都看起来比较有趣耶！只能说，各有各的好吧。因为当初只看电影的时候也觉得已经很棒了啊！可能要把所有的事都放到电影太多细节、太多焦点，不太符合。除了结果是一样的以外，其他的都改变了不少。
一样的是，都有很白痴的部分，也都有让我感动的地方。今天再看电影的时候也这么觉得。因为笑的地方又笑了，白痴也说了好几遍，哭的地方又哭了一遍。记得在读小说的时候，最后转捩点的部分让我有特多的惊喜，尤其是金刀嫂让她为菜取名的那一个。书里，阿拓从来都没有说喜欢思萤，却做了很多事来证明。读小说哭得这样，很蠢吧。而且明明半夜了，真的死都要读完。真的没办法。电影里的阿拓告白了，虽然看起来不太认真。而且，不同的是，电影用的是爱情的巧合，让这两个单纯认为不是爱情的人一直巧合的遇上，是很浪漫，却少了书里阿拓为他们共同创造的许多回忆。
惭愧的说，我花了很多时间才读完小说。科技的进步让我没有耐性再每天一直拿着书本一直读。当然，是我自己的问题。我常常以为自己把书带出门是会读的。但只要有手机在身边，心思和注意力就没有办法放到书上。要真的读意来的时候才有办法读多一点。已经没有以前那种读小说的热忱了。:( 又喜欢买书，又没有动力读书，不知道在干嘛。-.-

The Avengers Movie
My first superhero movie ever. Never ever watched any of those movies before, be it Ironman, Captain America, Hulk, Batman, X-men, Spiderman or whatever man. Except for half of Thor (or more, or less) on the plane (I fell asleep, haha), it was nice, but I couldn't be bothered to re-watch it again. So I kind of went to the show without knowing any of their abilities. Haha! Luckily I'm quite receptive in the sense of drama, so still can understand.
Anyhows, if you ask me what kind of superpower I wish I'd possess, I will say 'Reading Minds'. Not sure if I've mentioned before, but that's what I've always wanted to have. But well, superpower doesn't exist in the world, right? I have never believed in them, either, and probably that's why I don't really watch them.
For a first-timer like me, I consider it a remarkable movie though, and although I never had any prior knowledge of the heroes, I can relate to the context of the one yea. Okay, if I have a chance to see the other movies I may watch them to fill in on the details all right?

The Lucky One with Zac Efron :)
My first time watching a movie premiere, and it's a Zac Efron movie! I was so excited! Too bad the cast wasn't here to promote for the movie, if not I would have seen Zac Efron in person. HAHA!
Anyway, I was kind of lucky I guess, to see the contest on fb, and joined it and then got picked randomly to win the tickets. :) Dragged a friend along to watch the show.
I have always enjoyed every single Zac Efron movie I watched, so do I have to further elaborate on the movie? I don't think you will believe me fully anyway, so I shall save my breath. But I must say I was taken away by him. HAHA! Go watch the show for yourself lah. :)

那些年，我想到的人
你看過今年最多人關注的《那些年，我們一起追的女孩》了嗎？你也有跟我一樣的感受嗎？－想起當年喜歡過的人或被追的那個人？還有跟一群死黨一起讀書的日子？
我想到了很多以前在讀書時的事。中學也好，高中也好，都是我會回味的日子。有很多好事，也有很多不好的，但我想這些都是人生的一部份吧。雖說讀的是女校，但慶幸認識一群好玩的朋友，有時也會做出瘋狂的事。雖然都不是戲裡的那些, 但是感覺是一樣的.
高中又不一樣了。高中的我好像有點平凡無奇，好像又有點荒唐。有很多值得回憶的事，又有很多不想回憶的。而矛盾的是，有些事是一樣的。總之，是心情很複雜的一個時期。不知道是好是壞，有很多的遺憾，又沒有好好用功，又沒有很瘋狂。

4 things to do in half a day.
Today marks the end of SCO 10/11 Season. One very good concert I say, however, I only watched the 2nd half of the concert because I have too many things going on today.
But the concert was decided 1 year ago, while the rest of the matters just came in. Then it was Von's birthday party. I was really apologetic that I couldn't stay through. Initially I even wanted to back our from my attendance, because I must go to the concert. But she's already so nice to shift the cake-cutting forward! Omg. A friend I want to keep forever. :) So in the end I agreed to be late for my concert. And I think it's worth it. :)
Then before that was movie and high-tea/dinner with my buddies Via and Mel. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2, the much awaited one. I would have watched it earlier if not for the early arrangement. Haha! Many might have felt that it wasn't up to their standard, but I think it was good! I have my anxiety moments, my touching moments, my happy moments. Seriously I have nothing much to ask for. And don't you feel like watching Harry Potter all over again?
Then a meal at Sun and Moon @ Wheelock Place. Nice! Everything we had tasted good! Great sushi, sushi mixed rice (it's really damn good), and dessert!! The crepe cake is really nice!! I still have a slice of it in my fridge. Haha! Next time Hokkaido fair must buy more. :D Ok, we can always go back to Sun and Moon to eat it. Heh.
Ok, back to the concert. The pianist is totally too awesome! His fingers are like so fast! And played so clear. Omg I love the 4th movement. I was totally looking at how his hands move over the keys. How did he even do it. I wished I had learnt a bit of piano last time. Never could do it myself. He was quite nice too, took a group photo. Reminds me of the Lang Lang concert too. Hais, why are these pianist so zai?!
All rights. I have my share of fun these days. Shall update more soon! :D

Black Swan
Indeed breathtaking for me. Sometimes I have to really hold my breathe. It could a little confusing and takes quite a bit to get what is going on. But have to say that both the dance and acting is really good. The psychotic mind of Nina is the main thing that is giving all the stories in the movie, it's all in her mind. After the show, it makes me ponder if some parts really did happen or not.
Quite exquisite for a dance show too. Love the dance steps and all. Maybe cos I've always liked Swan Lake. But suddenly it seems to how more of the dark side of the dance and the dance scene.
Hmm... The rating has its reasons I guess. Haha. I kinda feel like watching the uncut version. It is already quite bad and into detail for the M18. How is it like for the uncut?! Lol.
Ok. U can watch the show if u haven't. Every part of it has a story.

A very long update for things happening from Oct to mid-Dec
It's been long since i talked abt the movies, concerts, plays, musicals, whatever events i attended. (been long since i last blogged anyway) =x And the albums i bought.. too many to update. I have at least 10 things on my list not updated. haha! But the thing is i've been to quite a few and also bought quite a no. of albums. ah... money sucking businesses.. but i dun care!
1. Charlie St. Cloud
Watched the movie with my da-jie @Iluma. Zac Efron is so good looking pls. HAHA! Anyway it's really a heartwarming piece of work. And I really do like Efron even more after the show. He has really beautiful eyes. I think i already said that when i saw him in Hairspray. hahaha! Yup, definitely the type of movie i like. Heh.
2. Sun Huang's Recital
Went to watch the recital with a few others @ Esplanade Recital Studio. She's really good with her techniques. Played with a lot of emotions and expressed to the fullest. However, we all agreed that that are some songs which are so not for her style. And, encore piece was Flight of the Bumble Bee, done in less than a minute! Like crazy omg.
3. Buffet @ Melt the World Cafe (Mandarin Oriental)
Went to their buffet dinner with my royals. Many exciting stuff! But overall was all right, catch up a lot with them. Plus, it's the first time i saw von chia ever since she came back from sydney! haha! It's been a really long time. I really miss the times we used to study (play most of the time) tgt. Anyhows, had a good time gossiping abt everything (outside and within us). Nv a grp of friends of mine have this kind of talking power. seriously, sometimes it's just embarrassing with them. But well, we are in our own world. LOL. Joke: We will eat at all the places until all of them ban us from going cos we are too noisy. =x
4. Nike Human Race
The race came right on the next day after the buffet. HAHA! Thing is i didn't really train much. and so stamina was like. hais. And it was sunny that day. And what was disappointing was the finisher gift. damn sian.
In the end we went for Mac breaky after the run and some of us 'dispose' the useless nike figurine there.
Then the rest of the afternoon was spent in bed and the toilet. Something went wrong somehow, i just kept on going to the toilet. sian ttm.

For July
What eventful weekends i have had in July (and busy weekdays too). So i have to wait till almost end of July to update... Cos i was really busy dao.... The weather was crazy. i was crazily busy too...
First weekend:
1. Picnic + Fly kite with COgang.
Was a super rainy sat morning... But we still went on with our plan to Marina Barrage with some food and got to sit under the shelter to eat. And even under the shelter, we got rain washed over us sometimes. But we still got to fly the kite after that! Quite lucky though the grass is all wet. hohoh. Not much sun and wind at first. So a bit hard to fly the kite but we did it anyhows.
Then just as we stopped, the sun came out. Super hot sun. The weather is crazy. So 3 girls decided to stay under the shelter while jan, sushi, dj, via and i came out to fly kite. But anyway it's been long since we last met so early in the morning for a gathering like that. Ever since we grad from sac? hahaha. It's a good outing like that with them still :) (and i got a little sun burnt after that). haha!
We ended the day ard 2+.. for me to go for my teaching lesson. And some decided to go for some movie.
2. Movie
After that long day... I went for Eclipse with the Asswais. Some crazy ppl watched 2 movies on that day - Toy Story 3 and Eclipse. I was only available for 1. So yea. I met them after my lesson. Wanted to dine at Astons but ended up at Jap food cos not enough time. Movie was all right... Not that exciting. A bit gross at the fighting part. Other than that... More or less to the story? I'm looking forward to Breaking Dawn more. More interesting storyline. :)
Then ekky send us back to the east! Although it was a really long walk to his car. tsk. haha! And yup that's all for saturday.
3. Race Against Cancer
That was the activity for sunday. 5km fun run. Glad that we only did 5km. haha! too long nv train. Stamina is like. LOW. sianed. And my shoes are not really fitting... So my feet got very painful halfway thru... And then worst. Got stitches. like wth. So Anyway after that i bth and went back home to change shoe plus take dslr before going back to meet the rest at mac.
Then i couldn't rmb what happened for the rest of the day seriously. HAHA
Yup. End of first weekend.
Second weekend:
1. F.I.R Concert
Was quite a surprise gift from SCO. I think cos of their collaboration with 光明山. that's why there's free tix. Well, our seats can't be compared to those sco staff. And i can only say. 'Better than nothing'. haha. First time the asswais are going for something like this... And then, there were a few who knows NOTHING abt F.I.R and their songs. lol. Like our dearest dr.cheow and tanmeijou. So they were more entertained by iPhones than the singers themselves. Then a few of them fell asleep at the front. Which i agree was quite dry. But not that bad lah.
Anyway towards the end we got damn high and start jumping ard and finally joeltan got some songs he knows! like 2 or 3 of them? lol. So overall it was good! Free one leh. HAHA :D
2. Nothing else except for work and violin lessons.
Got to work for the weekend = coming to office 7/7. wah i tell u it's kinda madness. I worked (come to office for 12 days straight. So for the sat and sun. It was work then teach, work then teach. Just that one day was at clementi, the other at yishun.
One of the most tiring weekend ever.
Third weekend:
1. Music Exchange
Quite fun. Quite tiring too. Lotsa friends. Lotsa laughter throughout. Spent most of the day with vontay. HAHA. Ok lah.. after that with the asswais too. Mini-asswai gathering somehow. haha! Anyhows, quite fun to be meeting some friends whom i haven't seen for a long time. both MCO and Changkat. Esp. the cc ppl. LOL. And being called some 叛徒 for a day. :( Reason is clear, but dun say here lah. The whole thing was quite funny. And i felt so stress cos he was sitting diagonally behind me during our item. Cos i didn't really talk to him, and he didn't really chatted with me too... I felt quite bad actually. Aiya. Whatever lah. =X Why am i involved in this kind of rubbish politics of ppl. rah!
Anyway i happy cos of some things though. haha! Shan't say what is it. I know can liao. lol! Maybe some will know, maybe not. But also... erm. nothing liao lah.
The exchange itself was not bad. Although i wasn't really listening after some time. LOL. Take photo photo and more photos.
2. Movie
Went to watch Nodame Cantabile - Finale with the Asswais after the exchange. Hmm.. Not bad but not as much cute animations compared to first part. More laughter for 1st part. But still quite funny. And after all it's with the asswais. Anything can be good enough. HAHA. :D
3. Work
And back to work on sunday again. And to teach cos i canceled the lesson the day before. Still, a much too tiring day for me to handle. haha.
Fourth weekend: (one of the most fun one)
1. Universal Studio Singapore
Yeap. First visit to USS. And with my family. :D Family day for da-jie coy. So we all went. The funniest thing of all was the start of the day where the 3 of us couldn't wake up in the morning. So much so for setting the time to get out of the house, i woke up at the exact time we had to leave. And i was the one who woke the 2 of them up. LOL. So we had to rush for time cos dad and mum were already at the mrt station waiting for us. How cool.
So ya.. played and eat in USS. Went to gollilocks for lunch (fyi they sell fried chicken, not porridge) and it's not bad at all. But my dad prefers KFC. haha! Took quite some photos there... and the mascots are really good. :) Managed to get most that we wanted: Madagascar (only managed to get alex cos the session ending), Shrek & Fiona, Puss in boots, Frankenstein and Kungfu Panda. Damn cute. We were quite lucky for most of it... The cat is like damn cute. And well... vain. HAHA! And we specially waited for Kungfu panda. Saw him when we just reached and halfway through but he was going back to rest already.. so we ermm... ask the other escorts where will he be appearing and abt what time. And yeah! We waited there for him to come out. So we were like one of the first few. :D
For rides... didn't really get to take a lot. Went for more shows instead. Or rather, i think we only took the Mummy ride? Which was really good. Wanted to go to the Jurassic ride, but they having technical fault. :( And the roller-coaster is closed still. So no luck. Omg, i want to go back and play when everything is up! I hope it will be soon. So yup, went to the 4D Shrek show, movie special effects showcase, the waterworld show.
Yea, I was a happy when i came out of USS cos i got a puss in boots mug and a gingy cushion for workplace!! :D
2. Veron's bday
It was kinda last min decision to go.. cos it was after USS and i was quite drained already. Anyhows, met joeltan and tayzhiwen to go tgt. Yup.. had a good time playing Angry birds on jingwen's iPad. So big and clear. haha! Most of them left quite early. I felt kinda bad so i stayed for a while more.. which in the end i left like what 1plus am? Erm. I can't rmb. haha. And luckily i managed to get a cab outside the chalet. if not i have to walk the dark path all the way out to the main street.
3. The Line Buffet
If u still do not know what is The Line, maybe u are still not to the age to enjoy yet. haha! It's buffet by Shangri La Hotel. One of the highest recommended int'l buffet in sg. I went with my 2 buddies on sunday for lunch. It's damn good i tell u, just by eating the seafood, it's enough to return the money you paid for the whole meal. Oh and sashimi. it's like... heaven! It can convince ppl who doesn't believe in sashimi to eat it and say it's nice. Didn't eat some of the variety there cos really too much. Dessert was calling us. So tempting and most of them are really nice! Ah... the meal lasted me throughout the whole day. hahaha! I wasted my packed dinner provided by sy for the concert. didn't eat at all. And no Koi too. lol!
4. SYCO concert
Rehearsal at 3.30pm and concert at 8pm on the sunday. As much as we thought it might be a disaster, it turned out quite well. But the big thing for the day was... I actually forgot to bring my scores out. -.- So smart. And that was becos i was practising the songs in the morning before i went out for the buffet haha! And i only realised that when i reached SCH. Was kinda early and wanted to prac first. it was then i opened my bag and realised my scores weren't inside. And best, my partner and i are using my scores for the concert. How great. I had to call home to ask them to bring it to me.. So during the rehearsal it was quite disastrous, esp. for the erhu song. haha!
But anyhows, I think we did quite well for the concert. And i'm proud of us! :D So much for all the scoldings we had. If only everyone could do better earlier the next time. It was really better than what we expected. And mr quek was super funny during the concert. Esp. the erhu song i think. damn relieved. hahaha.
And then.... We face friends performing for the last time in syco. Well... I must say i will really miss them in the co. esp. joeltanmeijou. As much as we dun want him to leave, i think if that's what is better for him, I wish him all well. (well, he is going afterall). Ah... Time has really passed so fast. At the point i'm typing this... there's only 20 days left for him in sg. :(
Worst, there are 5 weekends for July!!!
Fifth Weekend:
1. Make-up lessons for the kids
After all the busy weeks... i had to change quite a few violin lessons to accommodate. :( And so instead of enjoying days i do not have to teach due to the music school holidays, I had to go back to teach them. Ok. blame on myself lah. :(
2. Support Xunqi at RACO concert
It was really a cool thing to see your friend as the conductor at a concert. And can see how much effort he has put in to make this concert a success. The concert may not be fantastic, but it shows the effort of all these alumnis who are perhaps very busy ppl, best example is xunqi himself. And the passion they had for the school and CO to make them go back and make this concert a success. Not easy.
A surprise to see emily and yingying there too! We were like damn high there. haha! They are there with their sn friends i think. And saw khai phang too... quite a good friend of xunqi i think. haha! Haven't seen my pri school friends for such a long time.
When would nyco have the same kind of chance to do this? haha. i dunno. Not so soon i guess.
3. Relax
Finally I got to relax on the sunday cos it's August already!!! I heart. And now... i'm going to sleep and update on august stuff soon. Hee!

Anyway towards the end we got damn high and start jumping ard and finally joeltan got some songs he knows! like 2 or 3 of them? lol. So overall it was good! Free one leh. HAHA :D
2. Nothing else except for work and violin lessons.
Got to work for the weekend = coming to office 7/7. wah i tell u it's kinda madness. I worked (come to office for 12 days straight. So for the sat and sun. It was work then teach, work then teach. Just that one day was at clementi, the other at yishun.
One of the most tiring weekend ever.
Third weekend:
1. Music Exchange
Quite fun. Quite tiring too. Lotsa friends. Lotsa laughter throughout. Spent most of the day with vontay. HAHA. Ok lah.. after that with the asswais too. Mini-asswai gathering somehow. haha! Anyhows, quite fun to be meeting some friends whom i haven't seen for a long time. both MCO and Changkat. Esp. the cc ppl. LOL. And being called some 叛徒 for a day. :( Reason is clear, but dun say here lah. The whole thing was quite funny. And i felt so stress cos he was sitting diagonally behind me during our item. Cos i didn't really talk to him, and he didn't really chatted with me too... I felt quite bad actually. Aiya. Whatever lah. =X Why am i involved in this kind of rubbish politics of ppl. rah!
Anyway i happy cos of some things though. haha! Shan't say what is it. I know can liao. lol! Maybe some will know, maybe not. But also... erm. nothing liao lah.
The exchange itself was not bad. Although i wasn't really listening after some time. LOL. Take photo photo and more photos.
2. Movie
Went to watch Nodame Cantabile - Finale with the Asswais after the exchange. Hmm.. Not bad but not as much cute animations compared to first part. More laughter for 1st part. But still quite funny. And after all it's with the asswais. Anything can be good enough. HAHA. :D
3. Work
And back to work on sunday again. And to teach cos i canceled the lesson the day before. Still, a much too tiring day for me to handle. haha.
Fourth weekend: (one of the most fun one)
1. Universal Studio Singapore
Yeap. First visit to USS. And with my family. :D Family day for da-jie coy. So we all went. The funniest thing of all was the start of the day where the 3 of us couldn't wake up in the morning. So much so for setting the time to get out of the house, i woke up at the exact time we had to leave. And i was the one who woke the 2 of them up. LOL. So we had to rush for time cos dad and mum were already at the mrt station waiting for us. How cool.
So ya.. played and eat in USS. Went to gollilocks for lunch (fyi they sell fried chicken, not porridge) and it's not bad at all. But my dad prefers KFC. haha! Took quite some photos there... and the mascots are really good. :) Managed to get most that we wanted: Madagascar (only managed to get alex cos the session ending), Shrek & Fiona, Puss in boots, Frankenstein and Kungfu Panda. Damn cute. We were quite lucky for most of it... The cat is like damn cute. And well... vain. HAHA! And we specially waited for Kungfu panda. Saw him when we just reached and halfway through but he was going back to rest already.. so we ermm... ask the other escorts where will he be appearing and abt what time. And yeah! We waited there for him to come out. So we were like one of the first few. :D
For rides... didn't really get to take a lot. Went for more shows instead. Or rather, i think we only took the Mummy ride? Which was really good. Wanted to go to the Jurassic ride, but they having technical fault. :( And the roller-coaster is closed still. So no luck. Omg, i want to go back and play when everything is up! I hope it will be soon. So yup, went to the 4D Shrek show, movie special effects showcase, the waterworld show.
Yea, I was a happy when i came out of USS cos i got a puss in boots mug and a gingy cushion for workplace!! :D
2. Veron's bday
It was kinda last min decision to go.. cos it was after USS and i was quite drained already. Anyhows, met joeltan and tayzhiwen to go tgt. Yup.. had a good time playing Angry birds on jingwen's iPad. So big and clear. haha! Most of them left quite early. I felt kinda bad so i stayed for a while more.. which in the end i left like what 1plus am? Erm. I can't rmb. haha. And luckily i managed to get a cab outside the chalet. if not i have to walk the dark path all the way out to the main street.
3. The Line Buffet
If u still do not know what is The Line, maybe u are still not to the age to enjoy yet. haha! It's buffet by Shangri La Hotel. One of the highest recommended int'l buffet in sg. I went with my 2 buddies on sunday for lunch. It's damn good i tell u, just by eating the seafood, it's enough to return the money you paid for the whole meal. Oh and sashimi. it's like... heaven! It can convince ppl who doesn't believe in sashimi to eat it and say it's nice. Didn't eat some of the variety there cos really too much. Dessert was calling us. So tempting and most of them are really nice! Ah... the meal lasted me throughout the whole day. hahaha! I wasted my packed dinner provided by sy for the concert. didn't eat at all. And no Koi too. lol!
4. SYCO concert
Rehearsal at 3.30pm and concert at 8pm on the sunday. As much as we thought it might be a disaster, it turned out quite well. But the big thing for the day was... I actually forgot to bring my scores out. -.- So smart. And that was becos i was practising the songs in the morning before i went out for the buffet haha! And i only realised that when i reached SCH. Was kinda early and wanted to prac first. it was then i opened my bag and realised my scores weren't inside. And best, my partner and i are using my scores for the concert. How great. I had to call home to ask them to bring it to me.. So during the rehearsal it was quite disastrous, esp. for the erhu song. haha!
But anyhows, I think we did quite well for the concert. And i'm proud of us! :D So much for all the scoldings we had. If only everyone could do better earlier the next time. It was really better than what we expected. And mr quek was super funny during the concert. Esp. the erhu song i think. damn relieved. hahaha.
And then.... We face friends performing for the last time in syco. Well... I must say i will really miss them in the co. esp. joeltanmeijou. As much as we dun want him to leave, i think if that's what is better for him, I wish him all well. (well, he is going afterall). Ah... Time has really passed so fast. At the point i'm typing this... there's only 20 days left for him in sg. :(
Worst, there are 5 weekends for July!!!
Fifth Weekend:
1. Make-up lessons for the kids
After all the busy weeks... i had to change quite a few violin lessons to accommodate. :( And so instead of enjoying days i do not have to teach due to the music school holidays, I had to go back to teach them. Ok. blame on myself lah. :(
2. Support Xunqi at RACO concert
It was really a cool thing to see your friend as the conductor at a concert. And can see how much effort he has put in to make this concert a success. The concert may not be fantastic, but it shows the effort of all these alumnis who are perhaps very busy ppl, best example is xunqi himself. And the passion they had for the school and CO to make them go back and make this concert a success. Not easy.
A surprise to see emily and yingying there too! We were like damn high there. haha! They are there with their sn friends i think. And saw khai phang too... quite a good friend of xunqi i think. haha! Haven't seen my pri school friends for such a long time.
When would nyco have the same kind of chance to do this? haha. i dunno. Not so soon i guess.
3. Relax
Finally I got to relax on the sunday cos it's August already!!! I heart. And now... i'm going to sleep and update on august stuff soon. Hee!

17 again!
After SYF.. Went to catch a movie with Sylvia... Haven't been to the movies for a long long time... The whole SEMESTER i didn't watch a single movie.. how sad a life. So i have to relive it. HEE. (but if not for the early agreement i would have gone back to ny with them.. so dun be sad i didn't. hee)
But i'm glad i watched 17 AGAIN. HAHA! ZAC EFRON!!! :))) He's looking better and better in every movie he starred... Haha... he's really stunning. lol. The itself.. Quite typical ba.. But hilarious too..
And really glad too since i dun really have time to watch it before i leave for taiwan. Hee. It's worth it to see zac efron after all. Haha! Yeah.
Actually sometimes i could be 17 again too. Maybe i would live it differently. And i do wish to live it differently.. Cos somehow j1 wasn't a very fruitful year plus there were some unhappy stuff during that time. How nice if i could change it. But well... It is not possible and those memories just had to be kept. Yea.. Have to lah. Want to forget all also hard. Haha.
It's going to be a busy week before going to taiwan. Work and some miscellaneous stuff. Haha. Will be meeting up with friends too! And mother's day celebration. :) hope to have a good meal with the family. Haven't decided where yet. Haha. Till then!

Mamma Mia!
Went out till quite late these 2 days. HEE. Ytd was supper at prata again! Seriously the 3 of us have been going there EVERY week. But ytd they watched me eat... they only drink.. cos i was the one who didn't have proper dinner... lol!
Then today... Went to meet sylvia at town... was late... missed the bus by a bit.. dotx. i saw the bus left the berth with my own eyes... sian-ed but didn't want to take train... so waited for the next one.. So late lor.. =x Had lunch at soup spoon at like 2+pm.. hee. after that got whatever we wanted... i bought next year's planner already!! Haha. Ya... after that make our way to Marina Sq to meet the rest for Mamma Mia!... Our timing not bad wor... haha. didn't wait like super long except for yushi cos her class ended late... Had long john for dinner... only had chicken and potato salad cos of the rather heavy late lunch. haha. but the potato not nice!! The lettuce and chinese nice thou. hee.
Then i dunno why out of the sudden joel msg-ed me to ask where and what time i watching the movie.... And so QIAO lah. They also watching at MS at the same timing. Like what luck right... HAHA! But luckily i booked the tickets first... if not we probably dun have a seat or have to sit front rows also... cos it was full house... small theatre lah... that's why.
Movie was good... Jan like laughing like dunno what lor... then heard someone else so busy during the movie... keep sms-ing... tsk tsk... Anyway.. I quite like the songs... but some seriously oldies thou. haha! Some parts are quite cool.. but some parts a bit draggy... as in the song like too long for the conversation. haha. Anyway... watching the movie reminds me of MCO concert. hahahha! will i be playing? i dun even know.
After movie can't decide where to go... in the end walked to bugis for dessert. YEAH! Love... if i go to hk i promise i will eat that very often. hee. Then train-ed home with the rest while yih waited for her dad. Bus-ed home from int.. lazy to walk... haha! And miss-ed Haizhen gu-gu's visit again... She's getting married this dec!! :) Hopefully i can attend... yea~ Actually she ROM liao lah... just haven't dinner lor... Finally another Lim family member getting married. Hehe.

The busy but BEAUTIFUL weekend.
Ok... a few days didn't update liao... Err... cos quite busy lor.. haha! But today nua until damn happy... that's why i'm still awake now.. -.-
Went for Jiaying's Bday at Aloha Changi last fri... i was quite late cos work ended late cos of some stuff... and i came home to bathe and went by cab after 8 to avoid peak hour charges.. but in the end 2 ppl pangseh-ed lor. But well... they got their reasons lah... Forgive them but they better come when we next meet. haha! Anyway... the only person i know is jiewan. So i hafta stick to her... haha! So anyway we update update abit since we quite didn't meet already. right? and we can't decide when was the last time we meet either. haha!!
So anyway... thou our original plan was to go home like 10plus... and we really did want to leave... but in the end she saw interesting games and since we have ppl to play with... decided to sit down and play. With jiaying's sec 4 friends. Oh.. we like played for quite long already then they realised they didn't know my name. lol! I'm surprised i can hun quite well with strangers. haha.
In the end... we left the place like 2+am? LOL! And guess what. i had to wake up at 6.30am the next morning. dotx. Jiewan sent me to the main street and i took a cab back... cos she not shun lu... but very good liao... cos the moment i got down from her car, i got a cab... and the cab got me home in like 10min from loyang ave. Luckily lah.. cos on the way back... it started with drops of rain on the windscreen.. so i asked the uncle to put me at the shelter... as it was getter heavier... the next thing u know... it's POURING! Really kua zhang ok. Anyway. Thanks for entertaining me ya.. I enjoyed playing! haha.
So next day (sat)... surprisingly i could wake up... good thing my phone is on the shelf charging so that i would get up and off the alarm.. if not ah... i think i will just press snooze and forget abt it. lol. In the end still a bit late to meet charmaine. =x cos it was raining and i was trying to find a plastic bag to put my umbrella... But in the end when i got to downstairs.... the rain stopped... -.- So qiao. Anyway we weren't late... but rather one of the earliest!!
Err.. regretted not practising enough at home before going.... damn difficult! A lot hun-ing involved cos really cannot catch the notes. =x Actually after that quite happy to hear that laoshi wants to put me in gaohu cos long de chuan qi erhu really difficult hor.. but then again... i dun even think i can perform.. Haix. Actually i feel sad that i have to miss so many things this year end becos of my attachment.. but i have to put studies related in first place.. so i have to do it. I was really kinda half-hearted when i make the decision... and i still am i think... Perhaps until it's going to be confirmed. I hope soon so that i can really be relieved that it's settled.
After MCO went to watch Babylon A.D. at Suntec with Yushi... Thanks to Liyana who gave us the tix. and caiwen too... I was kinda late... but luckily there was something going on in the theatre which delayed the screening... so when we go in the movie just started... Hee. The show quite interesting... although couldn't quite understand the whole rationale behind it. lol! And the ending a bit confusing.. it's kinda neither happy or sad ending ba... just blissful ending? Ahh.. whatever.
Sunday.. Funniest thing... i kept on thinking i was going to work on sunday... at least until sat i was still thinking so... And i also rmb that i was supposed to watch beautiful sunday. So actually i told my supervisor i didn't want to work on the sunday. But i happily agreed to have lunch break with yushi tgt! We even decided on what to have for lunch! dotx. I only rmb i'm not working when my sis asked me on sat night and i didn't rmb the lunch until she msg me on sunday to ask what time we want to go for lunch. OMG! damn blur. haha!
Ok.. So highlight of the day was Beautiful Sunday. It feels weird to be sitting downstage watching them and not performing... haix... i miss performing on the stage actually... and esp. with the SYCO ppl. I wondered if i still have the chance. cos afterall next year's syco is still an unknown to me... :( Same for nusco concert? Even the nearest i can think of... mco concert. I'm quite sad that i couldn't participate. Actually i do like to perform ya? But not solo i think. haha!
HAd some celebration with the syco peeps at esplanade floors for 2 birthday ppl.... afterwhich most ppl left and the rest of us went dinner with yss. He's damn nice i really have to say. He really seems more like friend than teacher to us. Even promised that we go out once more before he goes back to shanghai. Cool teacher. Partly really becos he's still young and wants to be young. haha. Seriously will miss all these SYCO ppl if i nv go back to sy again... Actually i should have left long ago... but they made me hang on to it... and now how?
So that's end of ytd. Although it was Mid-Autumn Festival ytd... Not much was going on... cos it rained super heavily... And sky was super cloudy no moon to see... So no party.. Quite sad... Cos it means the festival was just over like that. Seriously Singapore should consider making the festival a Public Holiday. Becos... it's also a very impt festival for the chinese!
Ok.. That's all.. i think i go and sleep le.. although today slept a lot already. =x I'm sleeping for tmr so that afternoon wun be like keep wanting to sleep. lol. Nitex.

National Day Holiday is here.
Oh.. It's National Day already!!!
The day started out really funny... i think i was practically dreaming lor... er-jie says she came to wake me up at 8.20am like that... asking me what time i working... er... she claimed that i showed her 10 fingers... which i have no memory of... and what more... that was the wrong ans. cos i was supposed to go work at 12. lol! but i rmb on and off i heard cruz and peifen on 933... talking abt how busy they were... trying to squeeze all the happening things into today's epi... And i rmb i dreamt abt the song 'zhao cai jing bao'... which they played on the radio for the excitement of toto today... then came er-jie in the dream too... (i think that's when she came to talk to me)... then a lot of strange things.
Ok... the main thing was... my plan of going for a morning jog AGAIN didn't work out. lol! =x I was plain lazy to get up lah... and the weather is too good to sleep in. HEE.
Quite a few days didn't go back to work... a lot of things changed... err.... Finally i think it's impossible to work there for long... cos seriously... only thick-skinned ppl is able to work there without feeling guilty over all the changes... haix.... after this month... i really have to think twice... haha.. Ya.. so that's abt the repair thing... Then now... becos of all these changes... even more paperwork to do... dotx. and i heard the full time says he everytime work until 9 or 10... It's like so kelian lah... i'm quite glad i could help in one way or the other..
Then went to watch The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor with er-jie... Ok.... half of the time i couldn't really make out what the statue version of the emperor (Jet Li) was saying... After the movie i realised how he spoke... (by covering his mouth.. i tried.. and my sis couldn't understand me). Then... Michelle Yeoh's mandarin is like deteriorated... all not accurate le lor... must be stay in the west for too long... There were some funny parts.. Like Alex tried to speak mandarin to the emperor... took a while to realise he was speaking mandarin. =x And the terra cotta marching so cute lor...
By the time we watch finish... 11.30 liao lor! lol. So qiao... jon lau and his friends also watching same show in the same theatre. just that i think his neck aching after the movie ba... lol! =x
Ok!!! Lastly still want to wish Singapore a Happy 43rd Birthday!! :) Hope the nation will continue to prosper so that life will be better for everyone!!! (but hope that taxes and prices will not prosper) haha. So everyone.. Enjoy the weekend! :)

Michelle Yeoh's mandarin is like deteriorated... all not accurate le lor... must be stay in the west for too long... There were some funny parts.. Like Alex tried to speak mandarin to the emperor... took a while to realise he was speaking mandarin. =x And the terra cotta marching so cute lor...
By the time we watch finish... 11.30 liao lor! lol. So qiao... jon lau and his friends also watching same show in the same theatre. just that i think his neck aching after the movie ba... lol! =x
Ok!!! Lastly still want to wish Singapore a Happy 43rd Birthday!! :) Hope the nation will continue to prosper so that life will be better for everyone!!! (but hope that taxes and prices will not prosper) haha. So everyone.. Enjoy the weekend! :)

Red Cliff Part 1
Wow!! Blogging diligently these few days ya.. haha! Maybe cos will be busy next few days ba.... Today is really a good slacking day!! :)))
Firstly slept till 11... hee.. then lunched out... after come back... watch tv... halfway fell asleep again.. lol. But well... i anticipate the next few days to be hard work... so 休息是为了要走更长的路.. Yeah... :)
After dinner went to watch Red Cliff with er-jie, da-jie and dad... Ok.. i think there's quite a balance in normal scenes and war scenes... bloody but not as gross as Warlords... (thou some of the dialogues were quite cheesy)... Maybe it was to add some colours to the boring history.. knowing the taste of movie-goers i would say... who would want to watch a total history documented show in the cinema?? Err... i dun think i would... So we can't blame the movie producer for putting such parts into the movie ba... At least the essence is still there. The pace could be a bit slow... but down to the point. Cool... Definitely have to go for Part 2.
Ok... go and sleep liao!

A movie a week keeps my money away.
I watched a movie a week for the past 5 weeks.. (including this week). Like omg. I declared myself a frequent movie-goer AGAIN. hahaha. You may ask why the word again? Cos i rmb my last school holidays i did the same thing... sometimes even worse... Then i stopped for a while (maybe also cos there wasn't enough good shows to watch every week). haha. And now.. back again! OH!!! Can change to 'frequent school holiday movie-goer' instead. haha!
Ok.. i know this is very outdated but i actually watch Sex and the City with Von today... Just so happened that both of us haven't watch it... and i think these 2 days are the last 2 screening days... so we caught it today... initially wanted to watch the earlier show which is at 5.30.. but by the time i got there... the tickets were sold out already. dotx. And the next show is 'selling fast' too... So we got the tix for the 8.30 show and we already have only the front row seats left... fine... went walking ard vivo and dined at White Dog Cafe... All right.. not too bad.. and went to watch the show. By that time... the tickets were sold out too!! So who says we are slow in watching the show? hahaha.. Interesting show indeed. :)
Last week's show was The Strangers which i already commented on it. The ever-so-wrong show... I seriously will not go for anymore horror movies. Not becos whether the show is nice anot... but i scared lah! Say i'm timid lah.. Bleahx. Ya.. Anyway.. looking forward to the next meet-up!! :))) Oh.. i think they starting prac soon. Jiayou ba.. I'm officially CO-less... err... although not so true... supposed to go back mco for the year end concert. haix. dun think will be going this month anyway. =x
Ok.. back to movies... The week be4 was Get Smart at PS with via... Left with first row seats too!!! Wah... and i think today's one is better... we were quite close to the screen for Get Smart. But it's a very funny show... the plot is quite cool... and there were good punch lines here and there along the whole show.. I recommend the show. :)))
Another week before was The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.. with via also... i think we were at marina sq. Ok... not bad a movie... Less exciting than the 1st one thou... (ok.. i can't rmb the words in their sequence).. Err.. and let me confess that i didn't read any of the books in the series as well. hahaha!! Anyway... i like this kind of action-pact and magnificant movies.. so it is to my liking lah. Yea. :))
Lastly... Less than 4 weeks ago... watched Kungfu Panda with 5 other ppl - yushi, qin, dj, siyih and denise, at The Cathay... A very funny animation in my point of view... good graphics also... Oh.. and sound effect as well... The panda is just so cute thou big. haha. And Tigress is so cute when she's still a cub.. That's why i always liked cubs.. be it lion or tiger. Hee. Had quite a good laugh then... very seldom you hear the whole cinema filled with laughter for animations nowadays i guess.. So ya... An animation up to standard and expectation.. cos they have been advertising for quite some time be4 the screening this june holidays. So ya.. worthed lah.. :))
Ya... That's all for the moment... wonder what's there to watch next week.. hahaha... Actually i think i want to sing more! =P Let's go singing!!!

3 Movies at a go
Haven't updated for a few days... been pia-ing my finance individual assignment lah. haha.
To think i complained about not watching movie for quite some time... i watched 3 movies within 1 week. haha! One last thurs, one last fri and one today!
Watch The Screen at Kamcharod... unfortunately... it's a thai horror movie. and i was practically forced to watch it by my dear friend. dotx. But ok lah.. afterall it isn't really that scary... and there's quite a nice plot to it. so ya.. that was like the 2nd time i actually watch a horror movie in the cinema. haha! i mean.. usually i dun spend money to scare myself yea... haha! But i think that was the only time i went for movie with her during her holidays back here. zhong se qing you is like that de lah. haha!
Anyway.. watched 10,000BC on fri with cw and wx... it was after class and we do not know what to do... i wanted to come home but in the end still went with them... the show isn't bad.. there were some rather magnificant scenes... i like. haha! But as for the same producer... i still think that The Day After Tomorrow is nicer. :) Anyway... some parts were quite lame... there were very interesting parts. see it for urself.... able to see how they built the pyramid.... thou not sure if real or not... haha!
Then today (wed)... watched The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep. Overall it's quite all right.. thou not too many exciting parts... It seems a bit like the Doraemon story of Norbita and the Dinosaur.... just that the water horse could not be shrunk after growing real big. hee. But glad that it's a good ending for the water horse... nothing seems to be able to injure him ya... except for the little cut he got when he was still very little. It is truly how amazing the boy - Angus, could actually go so deep into the sea/water with the water horse... and even open his eyes while in water to watch the fishes and sceneries... the thing is he didn't even know how to swim. so it must be a miracle that he survived. hee.
Anyway... i'm like super tired not... so i think will continue more postings tmr yea.. nitex.

投名状
Haven't blogged for almost a week... too many things to update... haix. too lazy to do so anyway. =x
Last fri.. went work then watch 投名状 with my family. Some of the scenes are rather bloody and gory... (that's why it's NC16) sometimes getting a little freaked out. But the scenes are very much manificent too. esp. the war parts where the other army finally decided to join forces with jet li's army to fight the opponent. Takaeshi is like supporting actor in the show lah. and i seriously think that he doesn't have the look of being in that era and i feel that he's not suitable to act such role with jet and andy. sorry but he doesn't look heroic enough. But he's no doubt very very charming. haha! The ending was... quite expectable i think... oh... but i didn't expect the method the ending happened. haha. anyway. it's a nice show lah. :)
I'm so tired now.. i dun feel like typing anymore. =x bye.

Early Christmas 1!
Had a few moments of early christmas this week...
First was with the SYCO ppl... 12 of us... wanted to watch Enchanted.. but only got 2 seats left.. er... for who to sit huh? haha... so we decided on this one instead...
I think the show is rather funny... there were quite a no. of laughing points in that 108min... haha... somemore there were ppl (our own ppl) one row behind giving some funny and rubbish commentary... lol. perhaps the most amazing thing is that the baby really says 'Ho' instead of crying when he was born... dotx. But well.. if u need some laughter... i think fred claus is not a bad choice.. :)
Then it was concert presented by Dream Academy... with via, horng, ling and yushi.. and this is it...
I think we all had our share of laughter... esp. during hossan's item... heard that horng laughed very loud hor? haha. but it was a rather pity that Sebastian tan was injured and couldn't perform... if not i'm sure we'll have more laughter than we did... i mean that's one of the reasons why i wanted to go... aiya.. why ah! but then hope he will recover soon lah. i tot there's "hokkien santa, sebastian tan, puts it 'Ho! Ho! Ho!'".. hmm... anyhows.. i enjoyed myself... with the rest of the cast for the night... it was cool as they sing and sing.. all sorts of different songs. it's been a while since i last saw Robin Goh/Wu on stage... and i told the others... he seemed to have grown taller... then later when we were having dessert... we had another surprise from yushi.. haha!!! But i shall be a nice person and not say it out here. HEE.
Then.. there's another one coming up on saturday evening... wow.. like Christmas is REALLY COMING. haha!!! and i haven't got ready my presents yet.. =x
Ok.. shall update again soon.. so busy that i didn't have time to blog abt the previous 2 movies i watched recently.. haha. anyway.. genting in 3days... hohoho! =P

NO Reservations
Argh.. very lazy to blog these few days. no one cares also what. Anyway.. haven't got the chance to blog abt this movie. hee.
Actually went to catch it last week.. one day after class... not bad... Catherine Zeta-Jones is good! It seems real that she's (Kate) trying very hard to make a good parent for Zoe (her niece who just lost her mother). And Aaron Eckhart (ok. i can't rmb his name in the movie) is very cool in the movie.. Listening and singing opera almost every minute. It's really quite touching how he tried to make things happen.. And things really happened! Well... Happy ending of cos.
Other than just romance and comedy.. the show provides some family warmth and fine food as well~! How bad can it be then? Lately there's really a lot of movies involving food yea. And i think this is worth the ticket money. Eh. the others. haven't watch yet. haha!
Am really tired... And I have to say again that i'm currently very addicted to Facebook. Dotx. Maybe i will grow sick of it soon. Err.. or at least i should keep it away for a few days cos... i have a 1000words assignment due next week! And other than watching the performance just today, i have nothing else! Wah. die. er. Nitex first. =x

Hairspray! Pssss...
Anyway... amidst all these busy days... i still managed to catch a movie. in the expense of a dinner at home. and of cos.. some money. haha! but i'd say i didn't regret it.

It's a show full of actions... not the pew pew bang bang bom bom kind lah... haha. but since it's a dance show... it starts with a partly song, partly dance and partly jumping and running... then ended with a dance and kiss too. Nikki Blonsky (acting as Tracy) is very adorable and i wonder if she was really that big sized cos her butt is really big... but the thing is that she really give all her might to dance... with passion and rich expressions. makes ppl want to dance along.. haha. John Travolta (acting at Tracy's mother) was super funny. esp. after all the stuffings... he/she is really BIG. He/She (wah liao... i dunno should address the character or the real person. dotx.) has a very wide range of expressions to perform... i think the most memoriable one was he/she being shy. really funny lah. Zac Efron (Link Larkin) is very charming... and he really has blue eyes. wow. i think that's the reason ba. cos i dun like his hair in the show... looks like superman to me. lol. makes me want to watch high school musical badly cos he's in it. Had always wanted to watch lah... well well... presenting to u... Link Larkin. :)

But hor... after looking at some of his pictures hor... i think like that more charming leh... or at least.. he looks better with short hair... heex.
Err... sorry... back to the movie... It seems something similar to Dreamgirls... full of music and dances.. It's again.. a movie abt the blacks and whites. but something is a bit different.. dreamgirls is really extreme whites for whites and blacks for blacks... while in Hairspray... Tracy loves the blacks' dance and music... crossed the borders and went to the blacks' town... helped them march to the tv station.. and changed the whole discrimination thing going on for the tv show. BUT but but.. she's one of the only few that supported the blacks... of cos we have to include penny for falling in love with a black even with the total dissapproval of her mum. Not as touching i would say.. maybe cos i was too tired... maybe it's not meant to be touching... aiya.. i didn't find any crying point lah... (maybe there wasn't any) unlike dreamgirls... u should see the way somebody laughed at me when i took out tissue paper. dotx.
All in all... I think it's still worth watching after all lah. esp. if u like dance.... and i still think it's magnificant to see a lot of ppl dancing the same steps altogether... very nice! :)
Argh.. so many movies to watch... dun really have time this coming week.. unless at the expense of another home meal... :( Btw... Evan Almighty will be the next.. or maybe Ratatouille... Well.. must they come out on the same day? And after all.. i didn't watch Jay Chou's The Secret... so i dunno what's the secret that cannot be told!!! DOTX. i'm w.o.l.s. sianx.

License to Wed
Since laoshi postponed today's (wed) sectionals... I decided to ask sylvia to go for something else...... A Movie. Heex. And so we decided on this..
Oops.. the picture a bit small... i got it from flixster.com... from my facebook.com page.. sounds a bit complicated. haha. Anyway... It's the typical kind of romance comedy anyone can expect after watching so many.. however, it has its laughing points and touching parts. There's a good mixture of reality and fantasy in the movie, of cos making it more interesting. Although i wouldn't say it's the best show ard at this time.. the concept is still something new yea? Don't u want to find out how they got their 'license'? And don't forget... Robbin Williams always promise to evoke ur laughter. So why not? Seriously, just relax and watch. there's nothing much to think abt in the show. Well... Enjoy. :)
