Someone else's birthday altogether

COVID brought out a lot of creativity in most of us. It started of cos, by seeing others doing it. And I really want to send something to my best friend for many years during her birthday since we couldn't meet. I wanted to do it myself but I decided to get the others to do it with me cos I know they will. It was a success but she could have opened the door earlier. Hahaha!

And then we all still couldn't meet, and thankful fav bakery is opened so I could send love to Minhui and Rachel. Rainbow cake for both of them, but Minhui's topped with soju and beer! I'm happy to do it anyway. Could have done better for Rachel if I had asked earlier so that I could get the purple ombre cake. Still, colourful cake worked well for the kids too!

So anyway, I tried not be boring since we have opened up a little more by July. And then proceed to screw it up. HAHA.

Surprise visit to Boyi for his birthday, ended up texting in the wrong group chat at the very last minute just before we parked in their condo. It was a really facepalm moment, and the worse was when lixian replied. I really almost killed myself. Maybe the rest also wanted to kill me HAHAHA (and lixian) I don't know who is worst. What to do when you have such a smart friend. Epic moment also, when we were outside the place and trying to light the candle but couldn't do it with the lighter gun which gives out very loud clicks. Luckily he wasn't in the living room, but still.... he already knew about it... Boohoo! But glad that we managed to gather for a while, a pity only 5 can visit but we maximise it anyway. It was fun though and I hope it's memorable for birthday boy (30 already). 

Things are getting back to normal mostly and I know that such things are hard to plan from then without being exposed. It is fun while it lasted. :) 

Let's see what we can do for the rest for their 30th birthday. :)

Aug Long Weekend

I hope i wun be just having 1 post per month. Which is quite sad. I love to pen my thoughts down. In whichever method. Because i'm such a forgetful person. I like to have everyone done in words.

So far, it's almost half a month into August, and, I have to say that I still got my share of enjoyment. :)

First weekend was a quite crazy one.

Jojo's Bday
Started with jojo's 21st bday party. It was like wow! It was at this super nice villa of The Sentosa Resort. But i reached there quite late lah.. Missed all the food. Which was quite sad. Looking at pictures makes me drool lah. Tsk. Anyway, it was still quite an event and he has very cool cake! And they are nice! :)

The guys are having some fun thinking of different stuff to do in the water. They sure are energetic. But of them had their shirts and pants on when they were thrown/pushed/pulled/jumped into the water.. Poor mothers and maid of their got to wash them. Tsk tsk.

Sitting by the pool is a relaxation too though. I had moments of undisturbance at the pool side just listening to music and thinking. It was nice moments.

Stayed over with most of the GGG, while they were giao-ing late into the night and after that ALL of them *pah* and slept wherever they could. And unfortunately, i dun have a place to sleep AT ALL. So i went for a long bath. Shower, bathtub. Another nice relaxing moment. But at 6am. At least i got a place to sit in there. Lol. After that was some camera moments. Haha! Then finally i have some space to sleep when some ppl left. :)

SCO Gala Concert
Went home and after a while out to teach.. And then after that met them again for the jazz concert - 1st of 2 concerts for this month.

It was quite a cool concert. The jazz pieces which they played were nice! Like a total diff exp with them compared to the chris brubeck last time. Cos diff instru after all. They were really good, the bass and drumset and of cos the piano. Damn zai.

The SCO musicians were good too lah.. a few of them had improvisation with the jazz music. Not bad leh... Just that it's unlikely that they really improvise on the spot lah. hahaha! But yea. still cool. Gives a totally different image on some of the instruments. And CO. :)

December rain 雨季
Watched on 8aug night show. Totally love. The first of 2 musicals i'm watching in this month. I was totally waiting for it since the day we bought the tix. Erm. More than 3months ago? Haha! It's like fulfilling something. I'm so happy to be able to listen to kit chan sing again! :D Somehow i miss Forbidden City again. Heh. Anyway she's totally awesome!! Her voice is still as good as ever and it sends goosebumps!

The songs are ALL so nicely written too. Fav is still the theme song - 请你告诉他. Must be written by liangwenfu. As the show goes on, i was like thinking, 'wow! It's so obvious which song was written by which composer!' and ALL OF THEM are nice! 渺小的我 has really nice lyrics.. [edit: Ok. I actually guessed 1 or 2 wrongly. -.-]

“是我选择了被人遗忘，还是遗忘选择了我?”

 :) And somehow reminds me of If There's Seasons again. LOL. Like if they ever gonna stage it again. I might watch again. Depending on the cast this time.

Ahh... so during the show, it was half sensitive nose and half touched, I kept have to take out tissue to clear my nose. And tears. haha! There were parts the singing are so tear-inducing it's hard to control (or at least to me).

I think this is the first time i watched a Toy Factory production.. Although i've always wanted to watch some of their older productions like TiTouDao. Hmm... next time i know who to ask to go for all these if my sis doesn't want to go. I nv knew the sy ppl are like into such too. haha!

So anyway, the stage setting, the costume, some of the scenes are totally contemporary. It's most obvious when only 1 person is singing in front of the string-curtains. And there will be a dancer in the backdrop. Dancing to the song and the actor/actress' inner feelings. I've nv watched the first run of this musical, but from what sis described, it is totally different too. I think the artistic directions changed so ya. Everything changed. Not very elaborate sets, but good enough to represent what they want to represent.

Anyway, managed to grab hold of liangwenfu before the show to get his autograph on the prog booklet. No luck in seeing yeliangjun ard though. :(

Omg.. It's been stuck in my head since i first heard the song on 933. And still stuck whenever the words appear or when i'm not listening to any other music. So catchy and meaningful.

Korean Bbq
We went for korean bbq lunch buffet on national day as a form of celebration for da-jie and er-jie's bday. It was awesome! The meat is so well done. Ok actually the pork are better done than the chicken. But we are all pork-eater anyway. Haha. Although no beef, still not bad liao cos not that ex. Service was good too. So full after that lah! So much so it's was kinda nap time for the afternoon. Lol. Only woke up near to ndp time. Haha!

Managed to get some fireworks photo from home kitchen. :)

And that's like the end of the long weekend. Fantastic although not the kind anyone would dream of. Haha. And i guess there's still more to come?

Till the end of the month i still have like 1 SCO concert and 1 musical - Fried Rice Paradise. Looking forward too! Yeah. Esp. towards Sebastian Tan!!! Still my fav thus far. :D More than George Chan. Hahaha.

But till the end of the month, i have 2 close friends leaving sg for studies. 1 is going to china for 2 years (at least he is cfm coming back). And the other is going to canada forever! :( i'm damn sad.

For July

What eventful weekends i have had in July (and busy weekdays too). So i have to wait till almost end of July to update... Cos i was really busy dao.... The weather was crazy. i was crazily busy too...

First weekend:
1. Picnic + Fly kite with COgang.
Was a super rainy sat morning... But we still went on with our plan to Marina Barrage with some food and got to sit under the shelter to eat. And even under the shelter, we got rain washed over us sometimes. But we still got to fly the kite after that! Quite lucky though the grass is all wet. hohoh. Not much sun and wind at first. So a bit hard to fly the kite but we did it anyhows.

Then just as we stopped, the sun came out. Super hot sun. The weather is crazy. So 3 girls decided to stay under the shelter while jan, sushi, dj, via and i came out to fly kite. But anyway it's been long since we last met so early in the morning for a gathering like that. Ever since we grad from sac? hahaha. It's a good outing like that with them still :) (and i got a little sun burnt after that). haha!

We ended the day ard 2+.. for me to go for my teaching lesson. And some decided to go for some movie.

2. Movie
After that long day... I went for Eclipse with the Asswais. Some crazy ppl watched 2 movies on that day - Toy Story 3 and Eclipse. I was only available for 1. So yea. I met them after my lesson. Wanted to dine at Astons but ended up at Jap food cos not enough time. Movie was all right... Not that exciting. A bit gross at the fighting part. Other than that... More or less to the story? I'm looking forward to Breaking Dawn more. More interesting storyline. :)

Then ekky send us back to the east! Although it was a really long walk to his car. tsk. haha! And yup that's all for saturday.

3. Race Against Cancer
That was the activity for sunday. 5km fun run. Glad that we only did 5km. haha! too long nv train. Stamina is like. LOW. sianed. And my shoes are not really fitting... So my feet got very painful halfway thru... And then worst. Got stitches. like wth. So Anyway after that i bth and went back home to change shoe plus take dslr before going back to meet the rest at mac.

Then i couldn't rmb what happened for the rest of the day seriously. HAHA

Yup. End of first weekend.

Second weekend:
1. F.I.R Concert
Was quite a surprise gift from SCO. I think cos of their collaboration with 光明山. that's why there's free tix. Well, our seats can't be compared to those sco staff. And i can only say. 'Better than nothing'. haha. First time the asswais are going for something like this... And then, there were a few who knows NOTHING abt F.I.R and their songs. lol. Like our dearest dr.cheow and tanmeijou. So they were more entertained by iPhones than the singers themselves. Then a few of them fell asleep at the front. Which i agree was quite dry. But not that bad lah.

Anyway towards the end we got damn high and start jumping ard and finally joeltan got some songs he knows! like 2 or 3 of them? lol. So overall it was good! Free one leh. HAHA :D

2. Nothing else except for work and violin lessons.

Got to work for the weekend = coming to office 7/7. wah i tell u it's kinda madness. I worked (come to office for 12 days straight. So for the sat and sun. It was work then teach, work then teach. Just that one day was at clementi, the other at yishun.

One of the most tiring weekend ever.

Third weekend:
1. Music Exchange
Quite fun. Quite tiring too. Lotsa friends. Lotsa laughter throughout. Spent most of the day with vontay. HAHA. Ok lah.. after that with the asswais too. Mini-asswai gathering somehow. haha! Anyhows, quite fun to be meeting some friends whom i haven't seen for a long time. both MCO and Changkat. Esp. the cc ppl. LOL. And being called some 叛徒 for a day. :( Reason is clear, but dun say here lah. The whole thing was quite funny. And i felt so stress cos he was sitting diagonally behind me during our item. Cos i didn't really talk to him, and he didn't really chatted with me too... I felt quite bad actually. Aiya. Whatever lah. =X Why am i involved in this kind of rubbish politics of ppl. rah!

Anyway i happy cos of some things though. haha! Shan't say what is it. I know can liao. lol! Maybe some will know, maybe not. But also... erm. nothing liao lah.

The exchange itself was not bad. Although i wasn't really listening after some time. LOL. Take photo photo and more photos.

2. Movie
Went to watch Nodame Cantabile - Finale with the Asswais after the exchange. Hmm.. Not bad but not as much cute animations compared to first part. More laughter for 1st part. But still quite funny. And after all it's with the asswais. Anything can be good enough. HAHA. :D

3. Work
And back to work on sunday again. And to teach cos i canceled the lesson the day before. Still, a much too tiring day for me to handle. haha.

Fourth weekend: (one of the most fun one)
1. Universal Studio Singapore
Yeap. First visit to USS. And with my family. :D Family day for da-jie coy. So we all went. The funniest thing of all was the start of the day where the 3 of us couldn't wake up in the morning. So much so for setting the time to get out of the house, i woke up at the exact time we had to leave. And i was the one who woke the 2 of them up. LOL. So we had to rush for time cos dad and mum were already at the mrt station waiting for us. How cool.

So ya.. played and eat in USS. Went to gollilocks for lunch (fyi they sell fried chicken, not porridge) and it's not bad at all. But my dad prefers KFC. haha! Took quite some photos there... and the mascots are really good. :) Managed to get most that we wanted: Madagascar (only managed to get alex cos the session ending), Shrek & Fiona, Puss in boots, Frankenstein and Kungfu Panda. Damn cute. We were quite lucky for most of it... The cat is like damn cute. And well... vain. HAHA! And we specially waited for Kungfu panda. Saw him when we just reached and halfway through but he was going back to rest already.. so we ermm... ask the other escorts where will he be appearing and abt what time. And yeah! We waited there for him to come out. So we were like one of the first few. :D

For rides... didn't really get to take a lot. Went for more shows instead. Or rather, i think we only took the Mummy ride? Which was really good. Wanted to go to the Jurassic ride, but they having technical fault. :( And the roller-coaster is closed still. So no luck. Omg, i want to go back and play when everything is up! I hope it will be soon. So yup, went to the 4D Shrek show, movie special effects showcase, the waterworld show.


Yea, I was a happy when i came out of USS cos i got a puss in boots mug and a gingy cushion for workplace!! :D


2. Veron's bday
It was kinda last min decision to go.. cos it was after USS and i was quite drained already. Anyhows, met joeltan and tayzhiwen to go tgt. Yup.. had a good time playing Angry birds on jingwen's iPad. So big and clear. haha! Most of them left quite early. I felt kinda bad so i stayed for a while more.. which in the end i left like what 1plus am? Erm. I can't rmb. haha. And luckily i managed to get a cab outside the chalet. if not i have to walk the dark path all the way out to the main street.

3. The Line Buffet
If u still do not know what is The Line, maybe u are still not to the age to enjoy yet. haha! It's buffet by Shangri La Hotel. One of the highest recommended int'l buffet in sg. I went with my 2 buddies on sunday for lunch. It's damn good i tell u, just by eating the seafood, it's enough to return the money you paid for the whole meal. Oh and sashimi. it's like... heaven! It can convince ppl who doesn't believe in sashimi to eat it and say it's nice. Didn't eat some of the variety there cos really too much. Dessert was calling us. So tempting and most of them are really nice! Ah... the meal lasted me throughout the whole day. hahaha! I wasted my packed dinner provided by sy for the concert. didn't eat at all. And no Koi too. lol!

4. SYCO concert
Rehearsal at 3.30pm and concert at 8pm on the sunday. As much as we thought it might be a disaster, it turned out quite well. But the big thing for the day was... I actually forgot to bring my scores out. -.- So smart. And that was becos i was practising the songs in the morning before i went out for the buffet haha! And i only realised that when i reached SCH. Was kinda early and wanted to prac first. it was then i opened my bag and realised my scores weren't inside. And best, my partner and i are using my scores for the concert. How great. I had to call home to ask them to bring it to me.. So during the rehearsal it was quite disastrous, esp. for the erhu song. haha!

But anyhows, I think we did quite well for the concert. And i'm proud of us! :D So much for all the scoldings we had. If only everyone could do better earlier the next time. It was really better than what we expected. And mr quek was super funny during the concert. Esp. the erhu song i think. damn relieved. hahaha.

And then.... We face friends performing for the last time in syco. Well... I must say i will really miss them in the co. esp. joeltanmeijou. As much as we dun want him to leave, i think if that's what is better for him, I wish him all well. (well, he is going afterall). Ah... Time has really passed so fast. At the point i'm typing this... there's only 20 days left for him in sg. :(

Worst, there are 5 weekends for July!!!
Fifth Weekend:
1. Make-up lessons for the kids
After all the busy weeks... i had to change quite a few violin lessons to accommodate. :( And so instead of enjoying days i do not have to teach due to the music school holidays, I had to go back to teach them. Ok. blame on myself lah. :(

2. Support Xunqi at RACO concert
It was really a cool thing to see your friend as the conductor at a concert. And can see how much effort he has put in to make this concert a success. The concert may not be fantastic, but it shows the effort of all these alumnis who are perhaps very busy ppl, best example is xunqi himself. And the passion they had for the school and CO to make them go back and make this concert a success. Not easy.

A surprise to see emily and yingying there too! We were like damn high there. haha! They are there with their sn friends i think. And saw khai phang too... quite a good friend of xunqi i think. haha! Haven't seen my pri school friends for such a long time. 

When would nyco have the same kind of chance to do this? haha. i dunno. Not so soon i guess.

3. Relax
Finally I got to relax on the sunday cos it's August already!!! I heart. And now... i'm going to sleep and update on august stuff soon. Hee!

Bday for Gemini babies :D

Oh! June is ending soon and i haven't really update finish June happenings! Haha. Too busy to really sit down and blog properly. Paiseh.

The next on activity was prawning with my beloveds!!! :D It was both quite boring and interesting. Boring when there's no catch at all. Interesting and excited when u got something on the hook. We are quite noob so the no. of prawns we got is not equivalent to the amount we pay. HAHA! We got 22 prawns with 3 rods @ $90 for 3h. Oh and that's for 8 ppl. lol! We can't even have at least 3 for each person. =P

And here goes the say: 'it's the process that matters'. haha! Ya lah, at first i was really just waiting and waiting for the prawn to bite my bait. Waited here and there, i think for 1h i had nothing? While we were complaining and consoling ourselves that maybe the pond dun have a lot of prawns that's why we didn't get anything. Then the uncle from the next pond just stood over to prove us wrong by fishing a few with every bait he puts in. Probably a minute for each prawn? Unbelievable. And we were really looking at him unbelievably. Haha! In the end he gave us a few of the bait he's using. Damn cool. It really works (better). Haha! Cos eventually some baits got eaten and we didn't get the prawn. lol. Noob. =P BUT. I fished 3 prawns! So i did my part. Heh. :) After that I was going ard taking photos. haha. Jan is sad cos she had no luck until much much later. Hee. So she took photos too. haha!

Since we dun have enough catch to have them for dinner, we just oven grill and eat them up. Quite nice though~ :D And then proceed to have our dinner at Old Airport Rd instead. haha. Western food, carrot cake, claypot rice, hokkien hei mee, chicken wing and what else? I can't rmb. haahha. And sugar cane and tau huay. Tau huay was good. like really good. :)

Then after that we tried to find a place to get a grp photo and..... the only place we found was the old airport rd market sign outside. LOL. And we look like some tourist partly cos i was using dslr? And we were discussing abt that while trying to find a trustable passerby to help us take. And indeed! That person asked where are we from once he took the picture for us. Lol. We all laughed out loud. Should have told him then, Various places in the east of sg. haha.

Via's Bday Celebration

Aiya... too many backlogs already. =x

Last sunday had a great time with the Beloveds... Traveled far to the west for fun and then to the north for food. Lol! :)

First to Science Centre. Went there for the Pixar Exhibition. There's quite a few interesting stuff there. The animations so cute. They wanted to steal the drawings back sia. lol! But no lah. crazy meh. In the end, though they say photography not allowed, but guess what, we saw a lot of ppl snapping away sia. Then we were thinking why we so obedient. So... Yup. :D

Spent quite some time there looking all the different stuff. The carousel damn cute lah. the idea behind the whole thing is damn cool. And the disc is spinning SO FAST! like wow! It was great invention.

Watched other short clips which were made at the earlier period. So cute lah! but can see last time the skills really not so good. heh.

Then 3plus. We all hungry liao. So went to mac for some food first. Nuggets and more nuggets! lol

Went back to visit other exhibits. The sound section. Some of the stuff quite interesting. Tried almost all ba.. Got this station where we have to listen to the sound and determine which speaker the sound came from. Got so many speakers so close tgt lor. Difficult. But could have done better. lol

Then another one was this telephone booth. Have to talk while listening to the telephone 'talk'. So it's call listening-while-talking. It's supposed to tell a joke. But damn difficult. cos u have to talk then the phone will 'talk' also. Once you stop, the phone also stop. So in the end, I also dunno what the joke is. haha!

Then there's this showcase of iron dust dancing to music. Damn cool and cute. Magnets are placed and the whole plate filled with iron dust. As the music played. The magnets are programmed in order to attract the iron dust at different speed, amount, angle and so on to form a 'dance'. It says that it takes 40h to cheorograph just 1min of dance. Like WOW!

Then went to the virus section. Quite interesting too. Teach us how the virus looks like and how it is spread blah blah blah. Quite a small area but informative. Just that, i didn't read all of it lah. haha.

After that also almost time le wor. Like so fast! So many exhibits not visited yet. Why last time school nv bring us to science centre more often? Because i fell down during the trip in sec 1? lol!

Ok lah.. then we traveled to AMK for crab beehoon. Had KOI!!! Hohoho. Good to kill our waiting time at the crab queue. By the time we finished all the drinks, haven't even reach our turn to be seated. lol.

I like the beehoon crab. Cos the meat soaked in the soup. Got very sweet taste. :D Other dishes are nice too... Just that really have to wait very long. lol. But worth it i think. A great dinner to end the day with the girls.

X'mas 08

Actually i was totally lazy to blog... partly cos i piled up too many things to blog abt... makes me dunno where to start... then partly i'm lazy as usual... and partly becos of this...


HAHA! Busy trying to level up with the very little time i have at home recently... too bad i can't play it on my phone... hahaha.

Ok.. I'll update a little... SYCO chalet shouldn't be much said anymore... cos everybody already knows Joel's throw face story.. and there's no other news worthy story anymore.. hahaha! Joel aren't u honoured to hear this? You are the limelight! lol.

Christmas Eve was a short (quite) gathering for the jc close friends. William was very nice to invite us over for lunch... And cool.. he got the machine for karaoke at home! My house should get one too... if not all the sound system we already have is going to be a waste soon.. haha. Lunch was cooked by william i think.. Nice and healthy. Yeah! Mahjong-ed a while.. luckily we weren't really gambling.. cos i lost all the rounds... until the last game. -.-

Christmas was even more fun-filled. Twilight-ed with sis at tamp after lunch... My very very blur sister... actually booked tickets for the wrong day... and we didn't realise until a few days later. -.- So when we reached there.. the first thing i noticed was the timing was wrong... it was 1.30pm instead of the 1.40pm she said.. then we went to the collection counter and the lady said there's no record under her ic no. and credit card... so we on the buy the tickets and went in to watch as normal lor... in the end she was checking her email and still claimed that she bought the tickets... And know what.. she booked the tickets for 24th dec! double dotx. HAHA! if it's later still ok right.. at least can go watch.. but past already leh! Means we spent like 30bucks to watch the show. -.- Not worthed. haha!

Then went to daijing's chalet... We were actually quite late... and jan was the first one to reach... haha! that funny girl didn't even rmb our classmate's name -.- And still ask us to guess her name... i was like.. i know her name (doreen) leh.. why need to guess? LOL. Slacked in the room enjoying the aircon while waiting for the rest to come and mean time complete the cards for the 2 girls. Yeah.. cool wor.. but in the end both were a bit crumbled by dj's cousin while they were playing in the room later on. But our fault too.. should have kept it away earlier.

Mini celebration for weiling... with cake and present. Happy she like the pressie wor... she knows what we gonna get for her liao lah... it's what she wants... but dunno what design mah... :) Sing bday song and yada yada before dinner... Food was nice.. her relatives good at bbq-ing wor! hahaha! Cake from royals (for ling) was nice too... we finished the 1kg cake shortly after dinner. lol. chocolate lovers are all around.. lol!

Then up to the room for pressie exchange.. oops... I haven't upload the pictures yet... Ok.. this will come in a later post. =x

Sing bday song and yada yada for daijing after that... cool. she got 2 cakes. one was fresh fruit cake.. and the other was durian cake with santa face as the design... nice design but i just can't make myself eat the cake.. hahaha! Anyways... took quite a no. of pictures with the rest ba... hahaha... with the other sacians who went too... cool. :)

Feel that it's kinda different this year cos of the 21st bday... for at least the past 3 years.. christmas was.. at my humble home... really humble cos my table can't even accommodate all of us... can but very tight lah.. haha! But i'm really glad they nv 嫌弃 my house even thou it looks the same every year and our photos always have the same background. afterall there aren't much space in my house for everyone to stand tgt and take a picture. lol! And this year is more relax!! Cos we dun need to worry for food... for space or for anything else. :) and i dun need to clean up before and after the celebration. HAHA! =P

Anyway.. didn't stay over nor stay late... cos next day was another long day... and thus it should be in another post... So that's all for the moment! =P

The busy but BEAUTIFUL weekend.

Ok... a few days didn't update liao... Err... cos quite busy lor.. haha! But today nua until damn happy... that's why i'm still awake now.. -.-

Went for Jiaying's Bday at Aloha Changi last fri... i was quite late cos work ended late cos of some stuff... and i came home to bathe and went by cab after 8 to avoid peak hour charges.. but in the end 2 ppl pangseh-ed lor. But well... they got their reasons lah... Forgive them but they better come when we next meet. haha! Anyway... the only person i know is jiewan. So i hafta stick to her... haha! So anyway we update update abit since we quite didn't meet already. right? and we can't decide when was the last time we meet either. haha!!

So anyway... thou our original plan was to go home like 10plus... and we really did want to leave... but in the end she saw interesting games and since we have ppl to play with... decided to sit down and play. With jiaying's sec 4 friends. Oh.. we like played for quite long already then they realised they didn't know my name. lol! I'm surprised i can hun quite well with strangers. haha.

In the end... we left the place like 2+am? LOL! And guess what. i had to wake up at 6.30am the next morning. dotx. Jiewan sent me to the main street and i took a cab back... cos she not shun lu... but very good liao... cos the moment i got down from her car, i got a cab... and the cab got me home in like 10min from loyang ave. Luckily lah.. cos on the way back... it started with drops of rain on the windscreen.. so i asked the uncle to put me at the shelter... as it was getter heavier... the next thing u know... it's POURING! Really kua zhang ok. Anyway. Thanks for entertaining me ya.. I enjoyed playing! haha.

So next day (sat)... surprisingly i could wake up... good thing my phone is on the shelf charging so that i would get up and off the alarm.. if not ah... i think i will just press snooze and forget abt it. lol. In the end still a bit late to meet charmaine. =x cos it was raining and i was trying to find a plastic bag to put my umbrella... But in the end when i got to downstairs.... the rain stopped... -.- So qiao. Anyway we weren't late... but rather one of the earliest!!

Err.. regretted not practising enough at home before going.... damn difficult! A lot hun-ing involved cos really cannot catch the notes. =x Actually after that quite happy to hear that laoshi wants to put me in gaohu cos long de chuan qi erhu really difficult hor.. but then again... i dun even think i can perform.. Haix. Actually i feel sad that i have to miss so many things this year end becos of my attachment.. but i have to put studies related in first place.. so i have to do it. I was really kinda half-hearted when i make the decision... and i still am i think... Perhaps until it's going to be confirmed. I hope soon so that i can really be relieved that it's settled.

After MCO went to watch Babylon A.D. at Suntec with Yushi... Thanks to Liyana who gave us the tix. and caiwen too... I was kinda late... but luckily there was something going on in the theatre which delayed the screening... so when we go in the movie just started... Hee. The show quite interesting... although couldn't quite understand the whole rationale behind it. lol! And the ending a bit confusing.. it's kinda neither happy or sad ending ba... just blissful ending? Ahh.. whatever.

Sunday.. Funniest thing... i kept on thinking i was going to work on sunday... at least until sat i was still thinking so... And i also rmb that i was supposed to watch beautiful sunday. So actually i told my supervisor i didn't want to work on the sunday. But i happily agreed to have lunch break with yushi tgt! We even decided on what to have for lunch! dotx. I only rmb i'm not working when my sis asked me on sat night and i didn't rmb the lunch until she msg me on sunday to ask what time we want to go for lunch. OMG! damn blur. haha!

Ok.. So highlight of the day was Beautiful Sunday. It feels weird to be sitting downstage watching them and not performing... haix... i miss performing on the stage actually... and esp. with the SYCO ppl. I wondered if i still have the chance. cos afterall next year's syco is still an unknown to me... :( Same for nusco concert? Even the nearest i can think of... mco concert. I'm quite sad that i couldn't participate. Actually i do like to perform ya? But not solo i think. haha!

HAd some celebration with the syco peeps at esplanade floors for 2 birthday ppl.... afterwhich most ppl left and the rest of us went dinner with yss. He's damn nice i really have to say. He really seems more like friend than teacher to us. Even promised that we go out once more before he goes back to shanghai. Cool teacher. Partly really becos he's still young and wants to be young. haha. Seriously will miss all these SYCO ppl if i nv go back to sy again... Actually i should have left long ago... but they made me hang on to it... and now how?

So that's end of ytd. Although it was Mid-Autumn Festival ytd... Not much was going on... cos it rained super heavily... And sky was super cloudy no moon to see... So no party.. Quite sad... Cos it means the festival was just over like that. Seriously Singapore should consider making the festival a Public Holiday. Becos... it's also a very impt festival for the chinese!

Ok.. That's all.. i think i go and sleep le.. although today slept a lot already. =x I'm sleeping for tmr so that afternoon wun be like keep wanting to sleep. lol. Nitex.

Celebration with dearest han

Think i've been faithfully updating my blog lately ya.. although always on different things like the 'childish' Diner Dash that zhiwen commented. LOL! but very long nv post pictures already. lazy lah.. always take so long to load.. but today i shall post up some! :)

Anyway... today i'm a bad girl cos i ponned class... to go out with friends. =x Err... but in the end 2 ppl pangseh-ed the 4 of us... so the 2 of us whom ponned class were quite sad cos we could arrange another date if they said it earlier... But nonetheless... We had our share of fun... It was han's treat for the Waraku... thou we didn't really had much cos that girl didn't eat much! Dun deny ok.

Then went for a drink or rather... 2 drinks at Cafe Iguana... Happy Hours mah... hee. So we each had 2 rounds... kim and han turned red while yuhui and i looked perfectly normal... it's always good to be adults cos there are more places to go... just that whether we want to go or not.. haha. Then walked along the riverside.... see those lanterns... eh.. all those figures... dunno who are they! lol. they nv put labels or whatever.. how we know huh? But anyway the funny thing was we tried to take photo with the rabbit lantern and we had to try different passerbys in order to get one that really captured us and the rabbit... the rest were all failures. dotx. Ok.. now the photos shall do the talking. :)

Like finally. We decided to look for a potential good passerby photographer... he was holding a SLR/DSLR... so we assumed that he's good. and indeed. At least we see the rabbit now! HAha! Thanks to this passerby. :)

But overall i think a tripod stand can do a better job. Cos we stood in the photographer's point of view and it was totally possible to get us all in with the rabbit... but i just dun understand. Ah.. nvm.

A lovely cupcake han gave to each of us plus a 贴心卡片 too... So sweet of her ya. :))) Glad that she likes the gift and enjoyed the night with us! Yeah! Meet up soon for another feast!

I survived the rush today...

Went to aunt-in-law's place for my uncle's death anni.. It's been 8 years already... how sad... my uncle passed away when he was only 50years old. But anyways.. good to see the family still living well. :)

Went off to meet wengru aka wendy, minyu and supposedly jieying to get jane's present. But the time was being pushed back and back... we ended up meeting 2hours later than the original set time. haha! I was a little earlier since i have nothing to do... went to look see... ended up sitting at McCafe cos feet very pain. After a while the 2 came and we just chop chop go get her present... I think the perfume quite nice. :) But after that the 2 of them got something else to buy so we dragged the time a bit and in the end it was past the time i wanted to reach her house. Anyways... we took a cab down... and i stayed for say... 45min? Lol. Then rushed down to SCH.

The cab uncle damn idiot lah... He's like driving super slow lor... Even when there's no car in front... then he slowed down before a ERP entrance. Like pls... there's no turning back already so can just go through it? Anyway i'm paying right?! And i think it's the first time i tell a cab driver to go faster cos i'm in a hurry. But damn in the end i was still late cos he didn't turn into the taxi pick up and drop off point. I was merely a minute late i think. BISH!

And so i missed the first song.. ok.. i had to stand outside and look at the tv. Dots. And true enough the first song was the one i wanted to listen to!! It's 传奇II.. which we played at HK camp last year. But there version more difficult and longer... Mum said that song is the nicest.. I think it's a cool song. although 浴火凤凰 still nicer. Oh. they played 茶马古道行 too... and i think they played the last part even faster... crazy. lol.

瞿建青 played 阳光 damn fast too! But she's super pro.... hit every note nicely even when it's very very fast... i think it was the accompaniment that couldn't catch up with her. She recognised that i'm from SYCO at the autograph session! surprised. haha. Then 孟杰's song... Er... it's seriously a very contemporary piece... and it's really noisy k.... lol. But his skills good lah. (so the problem lies with the song?) =x. And he appeared really 迷人 lah... All white!!! And the fact that he played so confidently made his even more prominent. Haha! Young and handsome seriously. too bad he got girlfriend le. LOL!

刘沙老师 recognised me too! :) At least ya... if not damn sian-ed. haha! At first he was quite surprised to see me... he was like.. ‘你怎么会。。。？’ then in the end he rmb-ed i'm wasn't from HK. haha. So we exchanged a few words before i had to move down the line to 孟杰... Eh.. didn't take any photo lah. haix. Another surprise was to see one of the HK music camp instructor - 郭老师 (ruan) at the concert. It's the first time he comes to Sg.. specially to watch this concert and also to tour ard.. So we exchanged a few words before i left the place with my parents.

I'm glad i went to the concert... :) Sorry to jane cos i only went for such a short time... And i dun even know if i'm going to wendy's one tmr... (they have the same birthday). Sorry too if i'm not going. haha.

Anyway.. i told dad and mum abt it... and they too encouraged me to go for it.. They too think it's a rare opportunity and it will do me better... Well... i'm all set to give it a try at least... unless it didn't work out then i'll have to go to my second choice... which is something i've been wanting to do also lah. But at least that's like local and there are more chances to it than the hk one. So to speak the truth... i'm quite looking forward to it.. Just that... I have to complete my sem1 first lah! MY THESIS!!!! dotx.

Another weekend burnt

Erm... actually really tired le.. =x But blog for a while ba...

Ytd went to work then to geraldine's bday celebration... I thought i was quite late... but in the end... huiqun and linching were later... cos they actually forgot that it was ytd. ok. cool them. haha! Then saw huihui who was from rss also... so she invited me to sit with them at the table... talked to a few of her friends ard there... actually i dun really know where they were from.. but it doesn't matter lah.. just know more ppl lor... haha! Sat and chatted with the 2 girls while ger was busy walking ard and entertaining her friends. left ard 11.30pm to catch a bus home... ok lah... not that bad. came home and talked to sis for a while... And i think i slept at like 3+am in the end! dotx. dunno what i was doing ya?

Today went to 138 in the morning for the lunar 7th month prayer to our ancestors... Was supposed to meet some friends but in the end half of them put aeroplane... so it was cancelled last min... and in the end i was so bored!!! Wanted to do some shopping but was rather lazy to go out already.. plus it was raining quite heavily in the afternoon. Lazed ard till like almost 5pm then went out...

Bus-ed to suntec... wanted to buy some stuff.. but dun have... so wanted to walk to esplanade already. Wah liao.. dunno what's going on at suntec this week.. the paveways are like super blocked... had to walk a big around... took the other route to get to esplanade lor. Saw this super duper cool Lamborghini drove past. I bet everyone else was looking too. It's so like Batman's car... all black and cool. Ok. back to the esplanade... so met kenny to get the tix... and waited for joel and zhiwen to come.. but in the end zhiwen late. lol!

Saw a lot of familiar faces on the stage... and saw a few friends in the audience seats. mostly the bds ppl... cos chaixia was soloing... Her yunnan was quite cool! She played well lah.. esp. the first movement. impressed. :) Fire was good too! It's a nice song lah... No wonder the name for the concert. Han tian lei was a very hip version... but some parts were not very together. so ya. Liu lang zhe is nice... His intonation and sound quality was good. but i think violin still nicer. haha! I think it's cos of the range difference. So violin will sound more solid and the whole song is more 丰富. haha. I hope can find the scores for it! Maybe i can learn. haha.

Then after concert went ms hk cafe to eat with zhiwen and joel... damn hungry cos nv eat dinner. eat and talk rubbish and finally decided to come home... bus-ed home with zhiwen... i'm very thrifty and really took a bus all the way home... nv stop halfway to take cab... although i really feel like doing that.. haha! =x But i thought i only have big notes and dun feel like using it yet. Anyways i got concession already to dun waste lor. :) I think i will miss syco practices. More imptly all the chatting sessions with them!! haha.

Tmr is another working day... seriously i'm thinking whether i should continue working next month... it's like i dun really have much time to do other things ya? Or is it just my own time management... or possible to let me change a working environment? I'm so so so afraid and stress to work there now... like every working day is a challenge and i feel so relieve at the end of the day like 'finally i can leave'. So i'm seriously having 2nd thoughts on continuing to work there. but i dun think i'll ever be transferred out. haha.

We'll see... give me till the end of the month to decide. cos i think i will still need some form of income. at least a little more each month. lol. OK.. nitex.

National Day weekend is full of fun!

Pretty obvious i haven't been updating for a few days already... although i'm like rather tired now... but if i dun update... everything will be like accumulated and i will nv do it then.. haha!

Ok. Had a wonderful national day!! With the beloveds for half of the day and half of the beloveds for the 2nd half. haha! I think it's a bit confusing... but nvm lah.. =P So we went off to suntec for lunch at the ramen rest as a celebration for jan's bday... Ok.. i think this time the experience is better than the last ba... haha! Ramen without spicy soup is still better for me ba. hee. Anyway suntec was really crowded but the rest is really quiet... haha!! So next time... actually dun need to reserve seats le. food is all right... i guess it's better now... And u all know what... the next day i met another grp of friends and we were talking abt the rest... one of them ate 6degrees of chili leh!!!! I couldn't even eat 1. haha -.-

Then after that.. proceed to next stop... Chocz... ok.. quite empty too.. haha! Had our cake for the birthday girl there... Nice wor... but too sweet for charmaine... tsk tsk. I think it's good.. it's a heart-shaped chocolate truffle cake. And just nice got 10 chocolate balls on it... so we were all entitled to one! haha. After singing the song and blowing out the candles.... here comes my little present for the bday girl... Eh... I just rmb i started doing it after i finished typing the last entry.. so that's probably like 1am? I hand itchy lah... so i do all the way till like 7am. =x And mum actually woke up and asked me if i got sleep. i said 'yes' and i lied. =x But i'm happy with the outcome and i think the rest like it too! Right? 我的心意和努力是不会白费的... :)))

After the cake... some went off le... left the few got nothing better to do de... roam ard... and decided to catch the fireworks but still very early... went to TCC for a drink.. wah liao... i think the drink i order should have very little coffee leh... cos got chocolate and rose... but then dunno why still quite strong for me.. haha! But hor... i also can confirm it didn't help in keeping me awake cos i really very tired and perhaps yawned for one of the most times in my life when i'm out. haha. It's really non-stop as it gets later and later... Seriously... cos i fell asleep damn fast on the way home on bus. I dun even know what yushi was doing beside me.. haha!!

Ok.. back to the fireworks... They are really beautiful... And for quite some time... i've bringing my cam along to any fireworks display and of cos it's a pity not to capture them for collection purpose... but then again... everytime i do that... i will be looking at the fireworks thru the lens most of the time and actually i felt that i missed the most beautiful moment of the fireworks although i had them in visible memory. This time... i didn't bring cam along... and i didn't take out my phone to take pictures... I felt that it's the best i seen. You might wander why ppl still likes to watch fireworks even thou it might be the same every year... Being at the place itself is really different.. the loudness of the fireworks could be deafening but it's really 振奋人心的一刻... haha. very hard to describe... but cool lah! Hee.

Then sunday... went out to klunch with some nusco peeps... eventually some didn't turn up cos couldn't wake up... sis and i were kinda late cos we can't find parking space. haha! But anyways... had quite a good time... Then our initial plan was to go sentosa after singing.. but unfortunately it was raining... on and off.. And so unluckily... the car couldn't start cos according to the person we called... the cold weather could have caused the battery failure... and so we waited there for the person to come and the rest had to cab down on their own first... There are a lot of funny moments within but nvm.. lazy to elaborate..

So anyway... we had early dinner at Kim Gary HK cafe at like 4pm?! haha. either 3rd or 4th time there... but now good leh.. the baked rice not so salty liao... I will still go back there de lor... yeah... Sat there for quite long wor... discussing abt some business opportunities and the possibilities... quite cool for an idea.. the next thing is they have to really start doing it... cool.

Then... we came out of the hk cafe dunno what to do.... So they suggested going for some drinks... Eh.. didn't we just ate!? hahaha. It's just sat lah... keep eating and drinking... just that most of us didn't eat at the ms hk cafe after the fireworks. -.-''' Yup... so we proceeded to the next stop which was Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant... good ambience i would say... beer not bad too.. sausages not bad too... but in the end sis and i couldn't finish the 1L... a bit wasted. haha!

Now... monday... original plan was to go out in the aftn... but in the end didn't cos of various reasons... so in the end i nua-ed at home... and then meet yushi, siyih and qin for dinner thou qin didn't eat... Had New York New York... Hmm... quite a hearty meal for it... and also a rather expensive one.. lol!!! feel a bit bad after that... =x Then went on to a very impt mission for the night... glad that we have enough time to prepare everything although it became a bit chaotic when the time is nearing... haha! Surprise surprise for the bday girl once again!! :))) Who knows... maybe she happy until she cannot sleep that night. hahaha. =P So jan... how's today? Enjoyed and feel happy??? Heex. (just a side note: we killed 3 mosquitos in ur room ytd.. and there were more flying ard)

Dear girl... Hope u will be in ur best of health to take care of urself, ur family and also ur lovely children.. dun bully them lah... lol. And u have been a great friend all along!!! Doing up the bday boards for each of us... cracking ur head for ideas... And nv fail to entertain us. Oops.. that doesn't sound like a compliment. Nonetheless... U are a unique one to us... LOVE YA!! Happy Bday!

Not much update... But today is Von's birthday.. so HAPPY 21st BIRHTDAY!!! Hope u enjoyed ytd and today ya! :) U are officially legal! lol.

Went to her bday ytd after work... her pjs theme didn't really work out.. haha! my doraemon didn't get into use also.. lol. gossiped and update each other a bit lor... i think we can talk non-stop each time.. haha. such good pals.. i love. :) her beau damn sweet sia... too bad i didn't see the full dressed banana... haha.


When life is more happening... i shall update more... i can really understand the-more-busy-u-are-the-more-u-feel-like-updating phenomenon.. haha! but at least it shows that there are things happening in ur life that is worthed taking note of... right?

Suddenly i was reminded of something thru a conversation.. but i think i was less lucky last time.. i realised there were so many things i haven't experienced be4... quite sad.. but i tot it was so long ago.. so forget it... hahaha... i dun want to say anything anymore cos i'm afraid... afraid that it will come back... cos someone started mentioning it lately again.. i dunno whether it's a correct choice to say it out or not.. but also say liao. what to do...

The birthdays of two!

Yeah!! Let me blog abt my exciting weekend! At least it's really exciting... other than just work! haha! A whole weekend of partying. Love it. :)

Fri was dearest jiaqi's bday celebration and korkor's farewell. The starting part was quite funny... while we were sitting outside the house waiting for her friends to arrive. We were sitting right outside the lifts and looking at them going up and down waiting for it to open at the correct level. Her friends are quite late lah cos i think most of them came after their work. So we were like guessing when her friends will reach.. in the end korkor's friends all came earlier... haha! She so scared her friends all not coming.. except for 2 who were already there waiting with us. lol. =x

Anyway we played till quite late lor... sis and junyi-korkor were playing mahjong with one of korkor's friend... end already then we go home... so meanwhile i was a bit bored and tired (i dunno why). haha. watched a little tv... then played a little bit of games with jiaqi and her friends. Oh.. the world is really small.. saw xianhan (from sy dizi) there... he happened to be korkor's army friend. haha. So qiao... Then i think i saw angie's bf. one of korkor's friends also... not very sure. didn't ask cos i dun really know him and i dun think he knows me. haha!

They should be playing in some part of australia now... er.. maybe not at this hour.. but ya.. the idea is there lah.. how i wished i was there too! Why they nv ask me to go? haha!!! =x Aiya.. anyway.. that's another person ard me studying in aus now... Hmm... I'm glad jiaqi is coming to lasalle. thou i dun think i will really have the chance to see her in school. haha! we can go for tauhuay tgt! =P

Then sat was yet another busy and tired day.. but fun! haha. Went to mco early in the morning... haven't wake up so early for a very long time... went there and went up to the usual music room... turned out that they shifted to the 2nd floor already!!! That's how long we haven't been there. haha. =x And we weren't late! And now we have 1 more company -- Charmaine! Yeah. finally the 2 of us are not that lonely anymore. lol. And in the end laoshi didn't come for sectionals.. -.- Only came during combine... but at least lah... if he didn't go... i might have think that it was a wasted trip there. haha.

Then went to coffee shop to eat. The coffee shop was renovated as well! Very nice and clean and bright now! Really goes to show how long we haven't been there. heex. Then back to bedok... and after a while.. to simei.. hee.

Set up the place before every thing starts.. the balloons were nice!!! haha. our effort. :) I think everything was in place and well yea.. Hope it was really memorable for horng. hee. The xin fu de nü ren. haha. Something special abt the party... the first time i eat durian at a party!!! It's really big and nice... i wonder where they bought it from. Eventually the only one of us present who didn't appreciate it was sylvia koh. how wasted.. cos they are really nice! :)

And cakes!!! I forgot to mention just now... jiaqi got the same cake as me... as in same design... just that a bigger one and a more colourful one... haha... but that copycat lah! =x Then horng got cake from the same shop too! I think The Royals should give me some endorsement fees lor.... i help them advertise so much... haha... But their cake is really nice.. i just finished eating the last portion from jiaqi's cake... :)

Ok... Can i talk abt sunday another time? I'm really tired and going to sleep now. it's barely 12am. omg. haha!!! Anyway i will put some photos for the sunday entry.. so look forward to it... Yeah! Anyway.. it's going to be abt the 93.3fm outdoor concert lah... Hee. :)))

Oh anyway... the 2 of them so happened to have the same birthday... Which is 10min from now. haha! So wish them Happy 21st Birthday lor!! :))) yeah.

Meet-ups with CO(s) ppl.

Yea... i survived... omg.. i think i'm really becoming very weak... i think zhiwen can tahan cos she's 4yrs younger. haha!


Anyway... ytd met up and had fun with SYCO ppl. Although the movie we watched was err... not to my liking.. horror movies is nv to my liking lah.. haha! This is like my 3rd horror movie in cinema so far i can rmb. It was a bit of slow in front... but middle part was quite exciting.. but i just kept on asking peiqian 'why are we watching this show?' haha! Oh.. didn't quite understand the ending also... i think partly cos when we went in.. the show already started... so they start the show faster when it's a midnight show? The cinema there quite happening lah... a lot of ppl watching movie ard the same time as us... cool.


Then went to Kenny's house in zixin father's van... luckily man.. if not have to take cab... and like that better also cos we can all talk on the way.. not like separated... First time to kenny's house. to me it's very neat and nice... we watched tv... and Kenny cooked for us!! So gan dong. :) Watched some co vcds... while watching one of csco's concert dvd... i requested to go to 'dong'... but i actually fell asleep less than halfway into the song. lol! =x

Anyway... back to home.... and went to sleep after i bathed... got nagged by mum a bit after i woke up... and told her i'm going out again. =x But ok lah... i think she just wants to know.. good thing i came home 1min earlier than my parents just now... if not my mum will sure call me again. hengs... no clubbing this week. save money! :)

I fast-forward too much... I had lunch at home and went out to meet melody and sylvia... to get melody's present... Orchard was like super crowded... very difficult to move ard or stay at a place to see something cos there are just ppl who want to squeeze here and there... but in the end still got it for her already. YEAH! Mission accomplished. :) Went to bakerzin for tea (cakes). haha. nv drink tea lah.. only ate desserts... cool. Then went down to collect my new specs and then to deshun's bday celebration at weixiang's place. haha.

I was a bit blur cos i haven't got used to the new specs yet... and the area was so dark i couldn't really make out their faces... and dunno if i've gotten to the correct place... haha... until ds called out to me.. lol. But quite all right... the whole night was occupied with fun conversations and interesting findings abt ds... haha! A very big grp of ppl spent a lot of money to get him most of the things he wanted (i.e. from his wishlist).. i think that's very good and hope he likes them and hope they are useful to him too. Yeah.

Left the place ard 11 and got home in bus 45. quite fast actually.. be4 i realised.. the bus was already prepared to turn into bedok... how fast... Anyway i'm really tired already so i really feel like sleeping now... update again another day.. haha!

Qin's chalet...

Been wanting to update... but didn't really have the time and ytd blogger is a bit crazy... haha!

Had a very wonderful week spent.... as in from last wed till now ba... been going out!! Yeah... working very hard to shake off the 宅女 lifestyle.. haha! Not say it's not good... but it's getting rather boring. =P

Anyway.. it's really good to be out shopping... lol! Did some shopping on thurs... bought a top and a pair of bottoms... It might not be a lot... but it's already a sum for me cos currently i only have output and no inputs... and i'm still spending quite a lot.. =x

Fri was a good day!!! Went out shopping with daijing and sylvia... but i didn't really buy anything lah... except for a pair of shoes cos the one i was wearing was spoilt!!! Only 2nd time i wore it lor... unbelievable... at least i still know how to control myself and understand my financial situation now... hee.

But at night was great!! Cos i met up with my pri school friends... a mini class gathering we call... lol! cos it was only jiewan, jiaying, wenguang and me. A bit pathetic... but ok lah... we quite 熟 with each other... so we can like chit-chat non-stop... after dining at BigO at wheelock cos NYDC was too crowded... we went off for some 'coffee' at coffee bean while jy went off to meet her other friends... but jw and i didn't have coffee lah. lol. We sat there and talk until the place close... then fine.. go home lor... we decided that next time our gathering should be nearer to the east so can go home later. haha! But it was really a nice meet up lah... will be seeing some of them again soon anyways. :)

Sat was my dearest grand daughter's big day... not exactly big cos it's not the actual day lah.. lol! But char, jan and i went early to help her with her balloons deco lah... luckily the 2 of them went cos they were tall enough to reach after standing on a chair. haha!! Good cos the rest of us couldn't do it lah... although in the process quite a lot of funny stuff happened.. we managed to do it. hee. waited for the girl to change into her dress... then she surprised us with her hair as well.. haha! so the very excited jan also wanted to do hers. dotx. so qin's mother very nice help her curl. haha!

Ya... then ppl start to come lor.. before we know.. the porch is already filled with her friends and family. :))) And the celebration begins! For the first half i was the camera'man'. haha. cos she blur blur de... also nv take her cam and phone down from the room lor. but after that i lost my job and someone else took over the cam to help her take during and after cake cutting. Heex.

Some ex-BDS ppl came and surprise surprise to see jon and deshun also... they so happened to be at Aranda country club for their friend's party ba... and the bds ppl were at xiuping's party also at aranda... what coincidence.. so they came over tgt since qin invited some... It's long since ppl from the 3 schools stand tgt yea. lol!

And so.. we were the only ppl who stayed.. minus melody, char and ling... char was busy that night too... running here and there... to her friend's party also at costa sands. Really coincidence cos via saw her friend too. haha! ok.. back to the topic. but this time... i think we too hyper ya... only 2 person slept for the night.. lucky them.. they each have a bed to themselves. lol. while 5 of us (yushi, qin, yih, dj and i) watched tv and talked downstairs.. and later 3+am really cannot tahan staying in the chalet liao.. we decided to go out. The funny part was we can't take out the keys... and we didn't want to wake them up to ask them lock the door... so we were trying ways to keep the power on... but couldn't lah.. so the power kept on going on and off... until i saw someone sitting at the top of the stairs... jan gave us a shock lah! dotx. So she helped us lock the door lor...

Couldn't really decide where to go... so we just got on to yih's car and off we went.. drove to the wrong expressway and ended up going to airport instead of towards town... but the parking fee for airport is way too high so we drove out of the place and went to east coast.... shops at siglap all closed already.. we didn't have much choice so went to the hk cafe at east coast rd which we went last time... cos sure 24h. Ordered some food and drink... the milk tea is so not nice. dotx. finally decided to head back to chalet... cos it started raining also lah... by the time we get back.. the sky is already bright! so after the 2 ladies wake up and prepare to go off for breakfast... we kinda take turns to nap.. i started watching my dou niu... haha! later yih came to join me, qin and dj also.. haha. after one and half epi... cannot make it liao.. yih and my turn to sleep for a while... then the other 3 were taking down the balloons and eventually playing with them.. or rather 'decorating' the stairs with them to take photos. dotx.

Came home after checking out... thanks yih for sending us back! :) Was damn tired and returned home without my voice.. think i left it in the chalet lah! haha.. but didn't sleep lah.. bathe and went out for lunch with family since everyone was around. Ichiban-ed at parkway... Actually i was like super tired.. cos i dozed while waiting for our food. Lol!!! =x then went shopping for a while... in then bought a dress. haha. mum paid. Hee. My sis insisted ice-cream before going back. dotx. I didn't eat lah... only tried a little bit of each flavour... I knocked out the moment we got home lor.... until dinner time.. actually i didn't even want to wake up for dinner but ya.. still ate in half-daze mode.. and after dinner i actually fell asleep again while watching tv. =P In the end i couldn't really sleep at night. -.-

Ok.. my voice haven't really come back yet.. but almost le.. must get well cos next week very impt and i want to sing! lol.

Yup. But still happy to spend the weekend with the beloveds~! :) Another one to come thou! hee. Pls come in blue or yellow ya~!! :))) I'll be wearing white thou. =P

Shall update abt syco soon... this week intensive... and concert is on sat!!!!!! Come and watch leh... pretty please?

Of cos.. i promised my best friend that i will write something for her and i hope she will read this.. even thou it's exam period... :)


Well... I can totally believe that i'm doing this for her... but seriously i have no idea where to begin with... But i rmb-ed celebrating her bday every year since sec 3. The first year i was in the same class as these ppl... We planned a surprise for her that year at the void deck of a block near our school.. had someone to go get the cake while we were rehearsing for some presentation in school.. then insisted on walking that direction to bring her there.. can't really rmb what excuse we used le... But anyway i thought that was a rather nice idea. :)


Then sec 4... we celebrated for her at her ah ma's house. thou there were only 6 of us including her... i think we had fun too. playing jenga. haha! I rmb the cake was made by my mother's friend.. can't really rmb why there were only so few of us and can't really rmb why we went there to celebrate. but anyways... we still had fun after all. :)


05.. We already had the cogang formed by then... and we celebrated her bday by going to the Settler's Cafe.. the 10 of us played like the whole aftn there.. Of cos.. can't rmb what games we played then... only rmb taboo.. and some farm game. lol!


06... i rmb we celebrated it on a public hol... which i worked while some of them went to sentosa... and then met at suntec for dinner.. Very nice of them to wait till i finish work. Hee. (I rmb it was an extremely busy day at work!!!) Ok. Dined at this ramen place - 别府... it's still there now. walked ard the fountain for the first time.. kinda played with the water. =x Then went to the area above the fountain to cut her cake from four leaves. if i'm not wrong... melody went to buy it with her. Sat down there and chatted for some while be4 moving to get ourselves home. it was a lovely night.

07.. which was last year... there were only 7 of us including her... reason being the others are busy studying or working. Nonetheless... i think she enjoyed cos she didn't receive any presents on that day. haha! Anyway... after dining at Miss Clarity Cafe at bugis and then to the same place as the year be4 again! haha! And it was still four leaves cake! haha! She likes. And i think both times were the same ones. Too bad no pictures for the 06 one... not sure why. hmm.

And then this year!!! So grateful to her and her mother for preparing so much food for us... I was really bloated that night. haha! With all the yummies... Steamboat, chocolate fondue and chocolate cake. omg. But it's a good thing that she celebrated. I love the time we spend together.. sitting ard table.. eating and talking and perhaps making fun at someone. hee.

She's the person whom i probably spent most of my time out with for the past few years... Want to watch movie: find her. Want to go shopping: find her. Go swimming: find her. Study: find her. Every where and every thing. MCO, SYCO and now even work. (although i think i'm unemployed already). Thou we do not share much of our secrets (or maybe i'm the one not sharing). But i'm glad we have non-stop stuff to talk abt already.

She stated in her own blog that she should make very careful decisions from now on since she's not a minor anymore. I couldn't help agreeing. It's not that she always makes the wrong decisions... just that.. she needs to think more thoroughly than to act on impulse. The outcome might not be bad. but she's always regretting her decisions. I dunno why. So.. my advice is. Yes. U make careful considerations be4 doing it. But once you made it, go all out to do it cos there's not path of return. 人总是要向前看的. I rmb telling her last year during her bday that i hope she will have less unhappiness and complaints. haha. Of cos i think the complaints part didn't really come true lah. lol. But this year... I will hope for the same thing again. So that she will be a happier person.

Actually... Sometimes it's hard to say out how i feel abt some matters, even when i think u might be wrong in your thinkings. But i know i have no rights to change it and not that i really can do it cos you can be rather stubborn at times.. (and you know that). So these are my words for you. 凡事都不要看得太重，要多方面的思考，有时候遇到的事，不一定是不好的。不要为了一点小事就动怒，这样很快老的！要放开胸怀，这样人生才会更快乐！OK? Yeah. Sylvia, i hope you see this lah. (actually i'm sure you will lah. haha) So this year, Wish you all the best in your studies especially. And hope you finds the Mr. Right who will be listening to you nag and complain instead. Haha! Jk abt the nagging part. I will still listen to u lah! dun worry. :)))

Friends are always friends.... not to say good friends and best friends... (sound so cliche). haha~!! So please... got swimming soon. Although the day u end ur exam is the day i'm flying off!!! haix.

I can't believe that i'm writing a post for this person. haha! (pls be honoured ok) But actually i think he wun know abt this. hahaha!

Ytd was at his house for his 21st. The 2nd time to his house.. and both times was to celebrate his bday and both times on the same date and same day of the week. just that different year. lol! And the last time was 5 years ago!!! It's one year after i know him i think. OMG. Actually i can't really believe that i know him for so long already. (afterall, i only know my cogang ppl for 8years now only)

I think if i weren't in NY... i wun be there ytd as well... this guy just has too many friends. haha. so emm and ying and i really have to self entertain and talk to the other ppl. lol. but surprisingly.. we were one of the last ppl to leave the place. So after most of the ppl left... he finally came to talk to us.. haha! Talked for a while be4 we left to catch our buses..

Oh.. i think i digressed a bit. haha. Speaking abt him again... Erm.. actually i dunno what i could say abt him now.. or rather.. i think i dunno him that much anymore. Just that every time we meet... there's lots of things to talk and joke about. The familiarity is there i think.

Thinking of the times from we know each other till now.. he's been so far like a brother to me.. thou sometimes a bit irritating. but he's been helpful and always ready to listen to me, my problems.. esp. in the stressful days. Thou we kind of become not that close during the jc years... (a bit ironic)... cos of some stuff... i think i was too stressed up in jc. haha! but i'm glad we're still friends after all. Because he's really a good person to complain to. haha!

I think the reason why we are quite close was that we actually went through a lot tgt. the camp, the syf period, the o levels, the unlucky cc period, the 2nd intake, the synergy period, another syf, and so much more. It's just hard to describe.. and everything has become so neutral. And everything that happened seems like a dream. haha! Afterall, he's one of the people in one of my dearest groups.

Haha. After so much. i think most reading would have known who he is... although i dun really mention him to newer friends anymore. lol.

So Dear Jonathan, Wish you Happy 21st Birthday again! Erm.. hopefully you will do well in your studies coming aug in ntu.. and you will continue to hua-yue (dun waste your talent).. and your wishes can come true... and you can get someone who can control you. lol! And... GROW UP brother! (Although you are VERY big already). =x Ok. i wish he wun see this. lol. :)

Ok. that's all. Seriously i can't believe i'm doing this. Sorry Via.. cos i really didn't have time last week. I will make it up for u. haha!!!

The busy days Part 1

Finally back to update... still very tired... but i thought i ought to update a bit.. be4 the contents get too much! Omg... i actually have to backtrack till thurs!!!

So ya.. last thurs... field-trip to POST-Museum for gallery mgmt class... walked under the hot sun with my 'lao gong' for some time before realising that it is nearer for me to take bus 67 there than taking train to farrer park then walk over. dotx. waste time and money leh!

Ok... actually it's not exactly a museum... according to what the person described.. it's more like a space than a gallery or museum. So anyway we were brought to walk ard that area... including the back alley which is supposed to be very active only at night. (if u get what i mean). The walk took abt 20-30min... super hot weather. Then got back to POST and have some discussion grp thing.. which we all know what it is for... but well... it shows that we have brains and creativity. (to put it in a nicer way of cos) haha! I mean... we all know that lah... so nothing much.

Went to nusco prac after that... good thing still have time for dinner... Subway-ed. luckily saw yongxin there after i started queuing for a while... well... i need her student card and she can get her food faster.. so why not right? Well... prac wasn't VERY bad. haha. but since i can't go the next day... i went on thurs night lor. Prac ended ard 10pm.. stayed ard for a while to take tix and talk... wanted to cab back... then actually got someone going back bedok also.. so i thought we could train tgt... in the end she wanted to bus back... and so... i took a train! and i was freaking tired. haix. But ok.. save money cos the cabbing parts will come in later. =x

Fri.. dim-sum-ed with family at East Ocean! :)) They cabbed there first since we can't squeeze into 1 cab... i wanted to take a train... but in the end decided to hunt for easter egg for a while more and so i cabbed there also. =P Reach there liao... like OMG! A LOT of ppl standing at the entrance to the rest. I had to like 'excuse me' so many times to finally get into the rest to look for their table. dotx. BUT food is still as nice as ever. i mean that explains the long queue right.. Heng we booked in advance given our experiences. haha!

Then went to jiewan's bday party at aloha loyang after shopping ard for a while. wanted to get new shoes but all no size. sad sia... But in the end they still managed to get another membership card! Like dotx. which family needs 3 same membership card of a shop?! But giving to someone else lah... :) Ok.. back to the bday party... when i reached.. jiale, ruth and shirley were there already... so we waited for the rest of her guests to come. food is not bad... cake is nice... the deco very nice too! :)

That was like the first 21st bday party i attended this year... lol. So after like almost 3months... none of my 21-yr-old friend had any party lor! haha. hope there are more to come.. cos i think i enjoyed them! :))) Anyway... left ard 10pm with jenny... walked out trying to look for a cab.. it was only till more than halfway out then gotten a cab... better than nothing lah.. so i cabbed home. lol =x

OK!! i think i really need to sleep... continue again. =P

Leap Year is here.

I realised... yet again.. i haven't been updating my blog. haha!

Maybe i should just talk abt wed since the other days were quite routine. Anyway... went for finance class as usual... surprised to see only 4 ppl in class thou i was late for abt 30mins! cos i was stubborn enough to wait for bus 67 to come.. that's why. =P Then a few more came a bit later lor... and that's all for the morning!

Went back to ny with von... wanted to eat the fishball noodle.. OK! Actually we wanted to look for mr bong, and shun bian eat in school... BUT! the fishball noodle no more already! become what malay food... dotx. and so.. the canteen has changed quite a bit since we left... but at least our fav fruits store is still there... prices remains but quantity becomes lesser. haix. no choice also ba..

Anyway... had quite a long talk with him over lunch.. thou we were the only ones eating... had to settle with chicken rice.. and it's now more ex as well... what's with the school?? Ok.. anyway... he claims that he had read my blog be4... i dunno how many things he had read so far... haha! It's a bit of wonder where he got the time to go google search for blogs also lah. haha! I tried to turn it around saying i dun have one... but he could say out the characteristics of my blog. SO i reckon he really visited be4.. tsk tsk.. so i guess from now on i better mind my words... Haha! Then chatted with the bookshop auntie also... so nice of her to still rmb us lah... afterall... we patronise her shop pretty often yea... haha.

After that went to bishan to shop shop... haven't been there for the longest time... i think ever since we grad... i haven't been there... or at least not that i rmb of. Our fav food happened to be still there.. and we were reminiscencing (if there's such a word) abt the place and what we always do there... we ended up in Swensons for some ice-cream. haha! I think we really did a lot of rubbish stuff last time... but i think we are quite disciplined also as to studying tgt after school in Mos, coffee bean, school lib, amk lib, or any other place u can think of. haha.

Went back school to look for the sy ppl to go SCH. Yup.. had sectionals at night. i think it was not bad lah.. but felt that time passed rather fast for that particular session. Hopefully next week's combine will be ok! :)

And so.. wed is deemed the best weekday of this week. becos the weekend has yet to come. hee.

ANYWAY. On this special occasion of 29 Feb every 4 years.. I would like to wish my dearest senior and friend HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I know i wished u le lah... but nan de mah... then 4 years then got once.. so i should say 4 times altogether... haha! still got 2 more to go i think? or that day our celebration counted as one? hee.

Botak and HideOut Cafe

I'm VERY TIRED. i dunno why. in fact i just woke up from my nap abt 20min ago. =x Watching tv didn't keep me awake.. haha.

Anyway... ytd was almost a whole day out... after finish watching 赌场风云 in the morning... met the beloveds at Botak Jones... was as usual very full... and didn't finish. was very curious how did i finish the botak burger set the last time. hmmm....

So ya... walked to blk 84's HideOut Cafe.. u might not believe it.. but we stayed there from 3pm right up to 10pm... Played a no. of different games... and some... VERY tiring. like will sweat that kind.. but i think it was fun! Started out with a i-dunno-what-name game... similar to a game i used to play with my cousins with poker... just that it's a cuter version with animals. I think next was Saboteur... really fun game... Guesstures （比手画脚） was fun too... just that the version that they have is the Bible version... and there are a lot of holy terms which we dun possibly know... but still quite interesting game. Jurassic Jumble is like chaotic... haha! we didn't know how noisy we were until the other grp which is half the size of our grp was playing the game. hee. Played pictionary for a while and i have to admit that my drawing really sucks! haha! The last game for the day be4 we cut the bday cake was the werewolf (murderer similar) game.... it is very fun actually... the only troublesome part is that u need a narrator. played a lot more but can't really rmb the names. haha!

Stayed ard and chat and chill after the cake-cutting.. i think we are all tired already... so took some photos with some of them be4 we really leave the place... It's really very nice of the staff to let us stay there for so long. I'd probably go back there again! :) And i realised that sometimes a big grp can do a lot of things tgt too! :)

The best thing was... some of us still went for supper at 85 market after that... sit there and chatted until 11.45pm then we decided to call it a day. heex.

Lastly!!! I hope yushi will like the 'poster' we made for her... will upload the photos soon!! The present dun need to say.. sure good de hor? haha! And then... hope ling will recover soon too! And we will meet soon yea~ :)))
