Finally felt guilty that I haven't been updating the blog even though I haven't been working. Not that anyone is still reading it, but penning down has always been the most reliable source of memory for me. And thus, it means that there are a lot of things I might have forgotten through these months. haha! (Ok, maybe I could refer to my instagram for some memories retrieval)
Life is still as happening as ever, before the funds run dry and the mother at home starts nagging. =x Sometimes I'm not at choice for this right? Oh wells, hopefully things will turn out to be better.
Anyhows, a few updates on the happening stuff in my life lately then.

I have to admit that every trip has something memorable, each one has its own value.
I have gone to Taiwan (Taipei) twice in the past 2 month, i.e. one month once in June and July, for different purposes: Play and then SYCO.

iLight, iSee, iShoot. :)
Went to iLight Marina Bay 2012 on the last weekend of its exhibition.
Glad that I went, and it gave me some feeling of Vivid Sydney we went last year. And they are still doing it this year. If you are going to Sydney during this period please go to the festival. :) http://www.vividsydney.com/.
The only downside of the visit that day, was that, Earth Hour was also on that day, thus the site was all dark from 8.30-9.30pm. So we also stood in the dark for quite some time before everything got lit up again.
It's a nice walk through the installations though. Luckily the night wasn't too hot or cold. But the walk is so long we got rather tired at the end, and we still didn't finish all the installations before the lights are off at 11.30pm. (Supposed to be 11pm, think they extended due to Earth Hour).
Quite a few interesting installations along the way. The site is so far away long the whole coast of Sg river, from the floating platform to merlion park. (from the longer way). And so it's the first time I actually walk through the whole MBS (outside), to a park I've never been before, and go through the river bank before reach Fullerton Bayfront Hotel, where there were a few interestingly made white park benches, some which can't even be sat on, then back to Merlion Park. By right the merlion itself has one of the installations, but we were too late lah. So we walked back to city hall to take train home after that.
I say, a very worthy trip. Although I wished more friends joined me.

It's a WHOLE LOT of walking the whole day! It's just eat and shopping and eat and shopping and eat! hahaha! And we survived all our days in Melbourne with the map below! Kept it from Day 1 in melbourne. With some places we need to go marked. Lucky thing we (I) can read the map easily.

Trying out Panning shot
My first attempt to do a panning shot. Did it out of boredom. (While i was queuing for JJ's 背对背拥抱 event at bugis) Had countless tries and this is the only one which looks better. And it's still not perfect yet. I think cos the lorry is bigger = easier to focus than the cars. Haha! The rest all cmi. i deleted all of them. =x
But anyway, i'm trying to learn more camera skills and i admire some ppl for their eye for some very nice scenes. I do want to have a different look at the world as well. Rather than too prim and proper. And i do need more practise. haha. Still quite lousy. But ya, i think i'm getting better! But still sucked at night scenes. Can't seem to get the lighting right. ISO for the nikon not high enough also. Have to depend on shutter speed i think, but then my hands not stable enough. Rah. Have to explore more. :)

Hortpark to Vivo, Project, Sunset and Rainbow

Was quite surprised that i could wake up so early and reach school early! lol. I reached at like 7.40am. Yeah! All ready for the nature walk. :)
The little packed snacks for us.
In the bus... on our way there..
The starting point... the other side also very nice wor.. next time want to explore the other side too. Started from here. and a game to play on the way. each student was given half a map. of odd cutting edge.. so they have to find the other half. and they would be partners along the way. have to get to know each other. (i was excluded cos there were odd numbers. lol. heng ah. =x)
The first section... Flora walk. quite a number of different flowers along the 2 sides. unique flowers.
Then Alexandra Arch (i think). Hee. it's just a overhead bridge actually... but a beautified one... and quite nice i feel. Towards the forest walk.
This is how the below of the super long walkway looked like. and it's about this height all the way through. Quite scary to look straight down and walk. =x

End of forest walk and towards the Henderson Waves. A very nice place!!
Look so cozy and all... like those rooftop garden. i like.
The waves. Had a small rest here while had the interactive section. i.e. ask the questions on their partners... like where they are from, what they study, what they like and blah blah blah.
End of Henderson's Wave... and now it's to Mount Fabour and Marang Trail!
Managed to see a few monkeys on the way.
The Marang trail. i asked my colleague already. raining will not spoil the road. so after rain still can walk. that's what she told me.

Was super tired and warm after finishing it. slept on the way back to school. lol!
high-tea with jamie and caiwen after a short meeting at nat lib with sijia. after lunch she went off for her thai lesson. the 3 of us were trying to find a place at raffles city to sit down and discuss further. Decided to go Canele cos the Macarons look super tempting.
Nice box and menu. hahaha!
So we bought 2 each and went inside. funny lor. we forgot that we will have to pay the 10% SVC and GST also.. lol. But they were really nice!! :)
Didn't come home too late cos i was really tired. i fell during the meeting and deep asleep on the train lor. power right. But i was in a super good mood ytd night. cos of the beautiful sight i saw.
Saw this when i was coming home. Sky colour very nice. so i shot.
After that my mum said the sky very red so i went to see and got a even nicer sunset picture. It's really beautiful! I went up to the 15th floor corridor to take this... and while going up i was wishing for a rainbow and tada!!!
Got rainbow!!! Big and beautiful!! :))) it actually stretched across my block... so first one was taken upstairs on my living room side... and the second one was taken from my kitchen. Damn pretty. Supposedly there were 2.. but the other one kinda faded already. can try to spot on first picture.
Feels like a dream come true! :)

Warming warning.
Came across this poster as i was doing some research online... it's one of the global warming poster that one will really take note i think... first.. it has a ice-cream cone. and the ice-cream scoop is the Earth. It is easy to relate. The Earth is like melting away... and sad to say, it can't be reversed. But i thought the 'Warming' and 'Warning' below can be a bit larger. Well.. good for awareness anyhows. hopefully it does have some impact. Especially nowadays it's getter hotter and hotter outside. Plus the forest fires, plus the heat waves, the snow storms at the wrong timings, etc.

Lazy to think of title. a bit random.
Posting up some pictures!!! :) but first... abt today!
Brought my parents to make new specs... and order my contacts too... Like literally brought them... cos they dunno how to go and i not paying. hahaha.
Then went down to office with zhiling to get ling's luggage.. Very nice of her to let me use her budget to buy... hee... she went to help her friend get bag from lacoste. in the end... it's the bag i wanted to buy... so i bought one too.. -.- read on to find out more.
Came home to put the things down be4 going back to bugis to meet zhiwen. Mos burger for dinner. So brilliant lah.. i used up EVERY single cent in my wallet to get myself the meal. Damn zun lah... hahaha. So i was left penniless after that.. same as her friend who only brought $3 out for the whole day cos she doesn't want to spend money. Smart. Unlike zw.. bought how much things?!?! haix.
Then went to watch nafa's platform again... with zw and joel. songs slightly different... but some boring one remained. =x I rather listen to 白蛇! i like. haha. Wanted to talk to qinglun at the end but unfortunately he was caught up with talking to someone else. HAHA! so too bad... and poor him lah. =P Accompanied joel to eat at kfc then bus-ed home. TIRED.
They reminded me of some photos i've yet to post..
Took these and wanted to show zhiwen. haha! Mengjie damn 帅 for that concert. lol! although the song was @#!$!^&$^%@##*!@. haha!

Halloween 2007 - Part 1

Arts Management Level2 2007 had our very own halloween party on 1st Nov at The Chevrons Jurong. I went in to look for the other classmates ard 8... and started my journey to become who i am... i wasn't quite sure what to do in sequence thus explains my long duration to get ready. but the outcome was good nonetheless. and i think the wig was really the main reason. Just look at this...
Just before we set off for the night's fun.. (and sweat for me).
Now... look at my classmates.. lol.
Crazy belly dancer and CRAZY businessman.

Donuts & My hair (haha)
Ok... Shall update some long-outdated photos first be4 i dun want to post them up anymore! haha!!
These were taken on my birthday lah..
The 2 of us with our 战利品! haha. too near.. cannot see the plastic bag..
This should be clear enough...
Oh.. even more obvious what i've got...
When i took this photo... the box is like half-emptied already... the above 2 are peanut dark chocolate and peanut butter. I love the first one! :)))
Then that's apple cinnamon, orange white chocolate and double chocolate... love the last one too!!! haha... i dunno what happened to the white chocolate one in the end... dunno if got ppl eat.. if not i think mr dustbin had a taste of it. dotx.
Lastly... just now didn't see the apple cinnamon clearly right.... here's the enlarged version. :) I like lah! But my mother said it's too sweet. Well.. i've got a sweet tooth anyway. So... I like! :)))
Warning!: If u dun wish to see too many of my face... u can take ur exit now.. cos below will be a series of narcissistic photos... hahaha! Ok.. actually i'm trying to keep track of my hair growth lol.
Before $150 was spent... This is a neater version of my old hairstyle liao... haha!
In the $150 process.... 4h was spent sitting on that chair... this is in the 3rd hour... surprisingly i didn't fall asleep during the whole process. haha! was busy either reading mag or watching tv. heex. Even watched half of 手足 lor... dotx.
