Weekend burnt with mco.

Haix.. what a tiring weekend. But today seems rather meaningless... I was hoping to know what the sequence will be like.. but in the end it didn't turn out to be what i expected earlier... well... life is just like that i guess... nonetheless... it's not that bad with transport to and fro. haha. prac with sylvia sy songs while waiting for laoshi and with the sudden shoutings from next door to tell us we played wrongly and what... quite funny and sometimes too sudden. But ok! At least i practised. dunno what will i be doing tmr. reading? practising when i suddenly have the feel? i dunno. hopefully. haha.

Met up with my dearest cousin after the long day of MCO ytd... chatted over dinner. all sorts of crap u can think of... we actually reminded each other of some stupid funny stuff we did while still young.. Since i wasn't allowed to go out much during hols and to my friends' house (usually.. unless for project) for whatever reason i dunno... thus if i were to get out of my house to somewhere else.. it must be my san-yi's house.. with 2 cousins closest to my age. and we did a lot of ridiculous stuff altogether. I dun think i want to mention them here. haha! So ya.. we sat in Changing Appetites till abt 10pm until we decided to go home. yea. i miss the days we go crazy tgt. I wasn't so much of the crazy and daring sort but she taught me a lot. lol!

Other than that.. the rest of the weekend was mco and more mco. diaox. I can't imagine i'm so pia to even have a performance just the night before my flight.. and the whole friday before flying off to hk was gone. thus i have to be ready already on thurs with everything packed.. so i dun have to panick on friday late night or sat early morning. madness i would say. but i think i asked for it. tsk.

The only thing i felt sad abt is that i wouldn't be able to even sit down and have a simple dinner with my family for this whole coming week. it's either i have to dine early for the sake of SY prac.. or i wun be dining at home at all. hmm. sorry to my family. wun be ard on the day of my da-jie's bday too. i think i'll try to get something from hk for her since. no guarantee for anything cos i dun even know how long i'll be stepping out of the campsite. haha! i think the best i can do is to err.. purchase some stuff from hk airport. haha!! what a way.

Aiya.. i'm tired lah. the randomness. sianx. going off now.

Late nights.

Somehow i think i should blog even though it's already 2.14am now... and that i have to wake up at 7am tmr morning... or rather.. Later. -.-

Anyway this week i'm super packed with all the CO stuff... like from mon to sun... tues and fri were the only days i didn't touch my instru at all... all the other days of practices kept me away from my instru on the rest of the days. (not that i practise often when there's no practices. haha) Anyway.. Ya.. Keeping myself busy i would say. if not i'll be doing nothing otherwise. (how sad) And even more sad.. Woodlands on 3days this week! OMG.

SY on mon and wed... went thru most of the songs on wed during sectionals except for chang cheng. ok.. waste of energy to bring my gaohu there. But luckily laoshi drove me back. haha. Anyway think i'm getting a little better with nao chun. but i think my mind isn't going as fast yet. i need time. thou there isn't much time left for the HK one. WHY MUST THEY USE NAO CHUN ALSO? dotx.

MCO on thurs, sat and sun. oh man.. i think they admired me for going down to fuchun for the ensemble prac ytd with them... just for a while more than an hour... cos firstly i was late for the prac... cos i already knew that i was going be late when i left home and worst still when the bus drove off just as i dashed for it... dotx. The prac time was less than my journey to and fro add up tgt. haha! But i managed to read off quite a fair bit of harry potter with that. Of cos sat and sun has yet to come.. i hope for something not that bad. =P

I guess next week is going to be super busy too.. and i feel guilty not having enough time with my family. i think that's no dinner with the family at all for the coming week. not even the day be4 i leave home for 10days to hk cos of the mco performance. haix. but i chose it anyway.

Anyway. i got my 2nd round of donut factories on fri evening.. at suntec this time. it wasn't really as exciting as the raffles one.. cos 1h15min is nothing compared to 3hrs wait.. cos by the 3rd hour. we all wished to reach the counter soon. So it doesn't feel as accomplished after i got the donuts in my hands this time. Nonetheless.. still happy abt getting those fresh donuts! :) Esp. the Double Chocolates and Apple Cinammon. :) (note: this doesn't mean that i will go back to raffles next time even it feels better. haha.) And time wasn't wasted cos i had harry potter in my hands.. trying to finish off the last few chapters.. and talking to sylvia at the same time.

And thankfully! I'm done with the first. waiting for the 2nd to be back in my hands if not i'll start on the third first.

Ok... i ought to go and sleep to ensure at least 4.5h of sleep. thou i think i'm not going to get it.... BUT the strange thing is i'm not even feeling a bit of sleepy YET. maybe soon. but i slept like at at least 3am for the past few nights. (4.30am for ytd =x) either eating up potter or my sis DS Lite.. if not what makes u think that i can complete the Mario game in 2 nights. lol! NITEX. :)

A mix of stuff...

Realised that i haven't been online so frequently anymore... reason one is i have nothing to do at the com... most of the time i'm just blog hopping and tagging.. checking mails and friendster without much updates and that's all... And although the full set of Angel Lover is finally up... i dun have the motivation to start watching the 2nd half of it... Then i'll lift the seat and do something else since i wasn't really chatting with anyone on msn as well. Oh... that's life...

I went upon one of my friend's blog and read abt the things done during the hols. and i felt SO envious. Not that i dun like to slack.. but i guess i'll be more happy to get myself involved in something else thru the hols rather than home and home and home. Well.. that's life too... Wonder if i'm the only one in class that does what i consider 'nothing' during the whole 4months of hols. haix.

Thinking of giving up SY already cos whenever i have plans... they ought to clash with practices... Like WOMAD last year... like Arts Fest... and whenever a job comes to me.. i will have to think if it will affect sy first.. so i think i should start sticking to my future job scope and stop dreaming to become a musician... it's weird cos sometimes i like the stage.. the lights.. the claps and the smiles.. but sometimes i just hope to take care of the big and small things behind. Many say that i play very well (i dunno how true is that).. but sometimes i just felt that i'm not a cut-out performer.. moreover i stopped hardcore practising for a long time already.. Hmm.. time will decide for me..

Anyway... i've finally decided to pick up a Harry Potter book to read.. i know it's very laid back of me... but i nv had the patience to go far... but now i'm determined to finish them. i hope i can... but so far so good... i've nv gone that far in the first book even. Opened up the book serveral times be4 long ago... but i've nv completed more than a chapter. lol! and now thankfully i'm halfway thru in 2 days.. with half of the day spent sleeping. =x

All right... going off to do something else... there isn't really anything! BUT i still like blogging. haha! (provided there's something for me to blog about). haha. quite random i feel.

Movies! (Marathon - 5 of them)

Shall blog be4 leaving home for the airport to have dinner and send von off... :) Erm... beware there are 5movies following...


So latest movie i watched in the cinema... none other than..



As usual... the graphics were good... and sound effect still good... hmm... less fighting scenes.. and less dirty Harry Potter after fights or danger... most of the time they were practising and less time really using them against the villians. but obviously many parts weren't shown cos the whole thing connects but not to the very best... and there wasn't a sort of ending.. just chop chop.. pack and leave the school for the year... so weird. like what happened to cho chang and harry? or something like that? and this time Ron didn't show any obvious interest in Hermione like the previous one... hmm... Afterall... i expected a longer show than the 2h15min... Let's hope for the better in the next one! :)


Then i really got to say that i love the following show... thou i watched it from my 21'' tv... without any enhanced sound effects or whatsoever...


This show is really good... thou the starting was a bit boring until the dragon was born... haha.. The dragon is cute de lor... (when it's young) =x But the whole story is cool lah... And it's a triology... so should have sequel to it ba... Next one i'm bound to watch it in cinema!! :))) The effects are very good... esp. by the dragon. And i didn't know that eragon is the name of the boy until i watched the show.. dotx.


Next on the list... is what i watched after eragon.. which appeared to be a bit weaker than the former.. haha.

Ya... this is the one... Thou the plots are still good and yada yada.. it's a bit too quiet... and i felt that Ocean's Thirteen is more exciting in their plots and plans... But still.. i salute them for the wits and all the disguise... like every other person has an imposer job. Doctor, waiter, game tender, rich man, even police. But it doesn't make much sense having Ocean arrested after that... And something i felt quite bad... the only person with the most vulgar lang in the show was Yen - the only chinese and asian. He points the middle finger... says 'f***' and what not. Like kinda lowered the levels of chinese or asians... which is quite bad. cos other than him.. the worst i've heard out of other characters was only 'goddamn'.. Anyway.. now i'm comtemplating whether should i watch Ocean's Twelve... when i was told that it's not as nice as eleven. Hmm...


2 more to go.. coming up next is i say a rather artistic piece of work...


If u like to watch dance... u have to watch this... fusion btwn classical ballet (the girl) and hiphop (the guy)... But the guy is super talented like he watch once and can get the steps right! like how he did it lah! The story can be quite off in the middle and quite boring cos all they do is practice practice... ok.. a bit funny when the guy tried to dance ballet... and some of the times i didn't catch what they were saying cos there wasn't any subtitles... but the end work is really worthed watching! the whole dance is super cool! :))


LASTLY! Err... a lame show... just for laughs lah...

It's quite interesting thou not fantastic.. basically the main story is on chronicles of narnia... with a gist of some other movie inside. it's how weird that the 4 main characters are far beyond the age of the original 4 children in narnia and a change of names of cos.. sometimes it's just hard to connect willy wonka and chronicles or narnia... and funny how jack swallow appeared in the white witch's cells.... like so off! BUT.. i think the most off one is Aslan (the lion)... is actually acted by a human... and looks quite disgusting to me. However, if u dun mind all the craps... watch it. go and find it ridiculous. haha!


Ok... That's all for the movie i watched in cinema and the 4 others i watched at home. Await the next round of movie rental! :)))

Steamboat and lotsa fun.. and blur me.

Ok.. wanted to blog right after i came back from sy... but was too distracted by other stuff... tv, durian and DS lite. haha! In the end i completed the last stage for mario (er... i only played the last world last stage. haha!) then start from beginning for a while.. until no batt.. and now i'm typing. haha!

Anyway... Let's talk abt ytd (again)... So after we finally found that shop.. thanks to sofian, minhui and jojo for replying my msg and asking me to go sunshine plaza.. i was already on my way to sunshine when the last 2 replied... but gave some assurance. haha! And Yeah! the uncle very nice. heex. lend us his cutter after printing.. so sylvia and i practically stood there and cut up everything be4 the uncle is going to close for the day... The uncle saved our day! heex.

Then went walked back to bugis to get the ice-cream cake from swensen's and make our way to horng's house in cab.. err.. cos everyone is there already... thus we are late.. and we were tired.. plus taking the cake. what's better than cabbing down? haha! So just nice when we reached.. they just started to eat ba... so we happily sat down and start eating... Everyone fought for jin zhen gu! There was a huge stack lah! should have taken a picture of it. haha! ate quite a lot of salmon too. *yumz* :))) A fulfilling dinner all in all. haha. my bowl was almost nv empty until the very last moment. i think it's becos i eat too slow. -.-'''

It's a food-filled night cos after having SOO much for steamboat... auntie offered us jellys... and so each of us took a few.. according to melody.. 3 each. dotx. That was while watching Shrek 3.. for the 2nd time for me.. Then.. followed by the cake cutting and blah blah blah... wah... i like! :) Gave horng her present after that... which includes the poker card made by me.. the cookery book we bought that day.. and a necklace. Then they decided to lay out every single card on the big table to take a picture of it... but hor i dunno why lah.. cos i have all of them what... haha! ok.. maybe they feel that it's different.. so the table became gallery kind of thing.. everyone starts to look at the cards and point out which one they like the most. lol.

Then take photo take photo again... be4 we were all tired and decided to head for home esp most of them have to either work or go school or whatever. and i'm err... like slacking everyday. =P Reached home ard 12am. daijing says like cinderella.. DOTX. Surprisingly.. EVERYONE was asleep when i reached home... including er-jie. wah! No wonder nobody called me... dots. haha. So bathed and yada yada.. typed ytd that post and went to sleep lah... while receiving the jacky cheung video from von... the file is super duper big and i really couldn't wake... so left it thru the night.. and ready to watch the next morning. von recorded him singing 爱如潮水... ok lah.. cool lah.. but why nv record his own songs? anyway. i've nv denied the fact that he has a very powerful vocal.. but i just prefer jj. ok?! :)

Anyway... today was a super slack day... cos i woke up first at 9am to realise that there wasn't 恶作剧之吻 this morning.. so i fell asleep again on my parents' bed... so the exact time i TRUELY woke up was.. i think 11.30am. Heex. Had lunch cooked by mummy and watched 2 movies straight in the afternoon.. reason was quite clear... cos i have to return all the movies by today.. so have to chiong the last 2 i haven't watched lah... Eragon and Ocean's Eleven. First while having lunch.. and Second while practising erhu (for a while until i got tired.) Oh.. i seriously love the first one. review later! After bathed and dinner and off to return the vcds/dvds before heading to SY prac.

Today's was much better i guess... at least for me... still a bit screwed for naochun... esp. the semi-quavers towards the end... cos of the running notes that i could read in time. =x But overall is not that bad... so i hope for the better next time.. furthermore i will be playing that for hk camp as well! So qiao lah. it means more prac for that song so that i dun throw my face when i get there! haha!!! chang cheng was esp. boring for gaohu cos we only like played a few bars lah.. *yawnz*. plus i'm the only gaohu today cos rudy didn't come... so bored! then started making faces with minhui.. jojo and even desmond. haha! i was bored. =P

And today super blur lah... first i forgot to take my bottle back from SCH.. already near the exit when i realised and too lazy to go up and get it.. just hope that wun get any scolding cos it's chrysanthum tea.. haha. then the next funniest thing was... i couldn't find my ez-link upon reaching the gates... started searching high and low.. in the end gave up and gotten a single trip tix... and then know what?! I found it in my pocket as i entered the gate... like wth! err... i searched my back pockets but not the front lah! so stupid. bleahx. and wasted a few more cents for the journey. haix.

So ya... look for next post.. for photos or whatever lah.. i'm tired. thou i already found all the posters i need... i'm too tired to get excited over any movie right now.. esp. Eragon. haha! Nitex everyone.! :)

Super tired.

It's quite funny that i'm still online at this hour... cos for the past 3 nights i've sleeping at earliest 3am... that explains the fatigue body on fri... that even when i wanted to watch Eragon.. i fell asleep lah! dotx.

But still slept at 3am on fri night... started working after supper with horng, melody and sylvia at 85market... progressed to completing more than half of the whole thing... while watching Step-up with my sis... and she gave me some feedback on those that i did already... but i didn't change much lah... haha! but anyway in the end this morning i really have to make changes to that particular one cos of the background thing... haix.

Sat woke up at 6.50am.... surprise that i woke up once my alarm went off... probably becos i place the hp ON my pillow so that i can feel that vibration... cos very afraid that i couldn't wake up... Then the funniest thing was... i stepped out of my house feeling very happy (thou tired) cos i was quite early... but only to realise that i brought the wrong instru out when i was on bus to interchange. Supposed to bring gaohu but i realised the one in the usual gaohu bag was erhu! Pengx. faster call sylvia for help. haha. luckily she just left home... so she went back to change for me cos she will be using erhu. haha! To think that i said i dun want to use her gaohu anymore cos the ba wei very small lah. (she said she also dun want to use my erhu cos ba wei too big. haha) seems like it's fated. next week cannot let this happen! haha!

Lunched with laoshi again. talked abt some funny stuff abt his sons.. haha. went back and go thru sy scores with sylvia for a while be4 the combine with OMM starts. And the ministers came... quite cool to see them play the instruments... haha. they will be playing a short part with us on that day itself. Cool. Anyway.. performing at ShangriLa... erm.. first time for me in a hotel? Ya. after so many years.. i really dunno what have i been doing. dotx.

Then went to Suntec to meet sis to watch Harry Potter... There's damn lot of ppl lah... queued a while to buy nachos... and i knew that the show would have started lah... cos engwah super on time one lor. a good thing also lah. but then... a bit allowance also dun have. haha. Anyway.. when we got in.. realised that our designated seats were taken lor!!! But we can't go and tell the person cos the seats are right inside by the wall of a 2section hall... dotx. so we just find any place and sit down lah... but then i think we got a better seat than the designated one. haha. Review of movie will be updated tmr perhaps. :)

NYDC-ed for dinner and cabbed home with sis and her bf... :) BUT.. did the cards till 4am and YET haven't finish.. i dunno why leh... i think cos it's really difficult to find pictures of 12 and 13 ppl for the 'Q's and 'K's... so took a rather long time..

In the end this morning have to wake up at 9am to continue. somemore i was in a really blur state this morning... still cannot finish.. brought over to uncle's house to complete and compile to a page... which took me almost an hour... cos the files were too big. dotx. and practically using up my whole thumbdrive in the end. after rushed down to bugis at 3pm with sylvia to find printing shop... only to realise every single one at bras basah is closed... dotx. so in the end went over to sunshine plaza to try our luck... We were on our luck when saw the shuttle of one of the shops opened! :))) FINALLY...

But nightmare not yet finish... stayed there for ard 45min to get the stuff printed and we did the cutting ourselves.. or rather I did the cutting... and sylvia did the rounding of corners.. and phew. we did it... although i was really careless sometimes and a few cards are really out of shape and slightly smaller than the others. haha! =x But anyway... 大功告成.. thanks for singing my praises for the night. haha! i think i save the single files as jpeg then compress and send lah. for easy usage of them kae! :)

Anyway.. for the rest of the day.. wait for another post.. i want to go and sleep liao.. 1.33am.. i think i should start sleeping early. to save my dark eye rings.. haha!

My secret project...

Haven't been doing much nowadays lah... haix.. as usual right... i wished i'm doing more... what a life. Anyway... i'm only halfway thru my project... Ahem... i think some fees should be given to me for my effort and all the brain juice i use to come up with ideas... And i actually thought of doing another same one for another person... dotx. dunno if i can complete by then... WAH! i think i will die lor. Unfortunately... i'm starting to run out of ideas... dotx. I need to see and hear and speak more to get more inspirations. (sounds like learning a language).. haha.

U must be thinking what am i doing here at this hour... it's like 3am! omg. but actually i dun feel tired at all... and i really hope to accomplish my job fast... hopefully i can... but sometimes it's just not so easy.. hope that the results will be good... i think after so long... nobody knows what i'm talking... what secret i'm keeping and whatever lah... when time is ripe... i will reveal it... cos i'll be boasting by then.. lol!!!

Anyway i was looking thru my photo albums just ytd.. and i found so many funny photo. err... they are photos taken in my pri school years or lower sec period lah... which i find quite entertaining.. will post up when i have the time.. but have to wait a while... cos still need to scan. i lazy. =x

Ok lah.. that's all i wanna say... erm... abt what i'm doing with photoshop for my project... shall keep u all in suspense first. :)

A tribute to Mr Yeo.

This is a very sudden thing to all of us. Thou i've nv been close to him... but i believe anyone would have thought the same way as me. that is we've lost a really talented... kind and friendly composer, musician and teacher.

在华乐界里, 没有人不认识杨培贤老师. 大家都奏过他编的歌曲, 我也不例外. 有多少轻音乐都是出自杨老师的手笔. 前些日子知道他得了病, 但没想到半年后的今天却听到一个我不想听到的消息. 上天竟然把他带走了. 我不知道他是在什么情况下离去的. 但我希望那时他是没有痛苦的. 虽然我没有从来没有给他教过, 但他持有的笑容和永远都这么亲切的"孩子们"都已深深烙在心里. 我从来没有看过他发脾气, 没有看过他骂学生. 他永远都是那么细心的教导. 我真的不明白为什么命运会这样弄人.

当朋友告诉我这个消息的时候... 我的反应是'为什么'? 之后也没有觉得怎么样. 直到我亲口告诉二姐的时候, 心真的酸了. 我能感觉到眼泪就在眼睛里打转.

我能确定的是, 他一定是一个让人怀念的人.

Let's pray for him and hope that he will be brought to a peaceful place without pain... esp. from his illness.

First Combine for B.S

First SYCO prac for Beautiful Sunday... the only word i can say is... CHAM!! really cham lor... esp. 闹春... Firstly it's in manuscript... secondly... we are playing for erhu. eh... first time play erhu with manuscript.. very 不习惯 lor... Even i tried to go thru the scores this aftn... i didn't managed to get a lot of it... ok.. i 临时抱佛脚 lah... but then.. it's really not easy at all lor! Yet Ku Laoshi said the song is very easy... '这首歌很简单的'... and i saw many struggling with it. Hopefully tmr's sectionals is a rescue session. haha!

长城 is not that bad... erm... some super high notes... but i think prob is not that big lah... just the bowing and fingerings... somemore we cannot see what bowing the ppl behind us were using... i guess everyone have quite different bowings. haha! Erm.. still think that erhu is easier in a sense.. and seriously.. not that easy to be noticed. dotx.

Ok... i've decided that tmr should be spent wisely to get prepared for the sectionals... if not laoshi will sure say again... '谁有练，谁没有练，很清楚'... HAIX!

Anyway... the original plan was to watch the CO SYF Presentation tmr night... Looks like we can have a free show while practising... since laoshi decided to move wed's lessons to tmr. although i was super not willing to change. but what to do? fine lor.. cannot like watch them at all. sianx. But save one day of going to SCH? Good or bad... hard to say lah.

Go off le.. got some photoshop to play with... something for a fellow friend.. heex. BYE!

New Seven Wonders and some others.

Haven't updated for the past few days... haven't been doing much or going anywhere also lah... Saved me quite a lot of money in result... for all i've spent last week or so.. haha!

Anyway... i was home most of the days this week lah... except for fri and sat... the rest of the days i'm just slacking away at home... haha. including today. Dunno why but i'm super tired... even the original intention of watching the NEW 7 Wonders of the World announcing ceremony was foiled cos i felt asleep... and the person who watched was my mother. lol!

I dunno if anyone of u knows this... but now we have a new list of the world's 7 wonders! (not that we all know the ancient list)... well... i didn't know either.. but they were listed by some Greek observers some 2000 years ago... and the places are more concentrated in the Middle East and Mediterranean.. out of the list... a few were situated in Eygpt... Let's reminiscence the ancient 7 wonders.. The Great Pyramid of Gize, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Mausoleum of Maussollos at Halicarnassus, Colossus of Rhodes and Lighthouse of Alexandria. But anyways... only the pyramid survived till today... the rest were all destroyed by natural disaster or such.

And now the newly announced 7 wonders in the world.. these 7 are polled highest among 21 nominations. The Great Wall of China, Petra of Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Machu Picchu in Peru, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Colosseum of Rome, Taj Mahal in Agra, India. And The pyramid remained as a Honorary candidate of this whole event.. for more news... You can refer to this article if u want to know more. :) Or simply search of 'seven wonders' in Yahoo! and there will be a whole list to choose. It's quite cool lah... the other 'candidates' that lost includes the Eiffel Tower, The Statue of Liberty, Sydney Opera House and so on so on.

I think the idea is quite cool since most of the ancient wonders aren't ard anymore.. should give credit to some existing ones? Like that then we can set a goal to visit the wonders mah! haha!! I would like to go to the India one... cos the picture looks really nice.. dunno does it look exactly the same in real anot lah... haha. But actually there are a lot of other wonders that we all should explore too. :))) Disclaimer: Above is solely my personal opinions. heex.

Ok.. now back track... Fri went out for steamboat with my family.. excluding er-jie... including relatives who came from Indonesia for holidays and san-jiu's family and grandaunt and Ann-auntie. But the place is super difficult to find for first timers lah! But then.. dad and i didn't take very long to find it lah... cos i keep urging my dad to stop thinking and just walk with me. haha! if not i think he will take years to find also... like da-jie and uncle ronnie. =x Anyway was not bad lah... but think the ppl like eat so little leh. And i think i didn't really had my fill too... cos when i still wanted to eat.. all of them stopped liao? Haha! Ok lah.. it's not really a bad place to go since it's so ulu that not many ppl will go there. haha! It's not as hot, stuffy and noisy like marina bay... dun need to go so far... but have to walk quite a distance from Eunos mrt lah. dotx. But $9.90 nett lah... so dun complain huh. haha!

Sat.. Went for MCO prac for the first time for the ShangriLa performance. Oh man... sure is quite bad... haha! However... we've passed a day at woodlands and sent back safely by laoshi. Another 2 weeks of prac to go... 3 weeks to performance... And it means 3 more weeks to HK too! haha! =P

SYCO prac starting tmr! Means i wun be free on mon and wed night till beautiful sunday is over. Good or bad.. hard to say. haha! but whatever it is... Hmm... guess i haven't been updating enough.. haha! Doing more for the grp blog lah. Heex.

Anyway.. 1 July 2007 was really a wonderful day... other than the GST thing that everyone is talking abt... and minus the encounter at settler's as well... Otherwise the day was enjoyable cos of the ppl i'm with. :)) Finally horng is back and finally the 11 of us get tgt again.. The last time the 11 ppl met tgt was... 050605!!! Cos that's the last time we had a full grp photo. How amazing... We always have someone missing... just like christmas... melody wasn't ard the first day while horng was.. then the 2nd melody was ard while horng had something else on... haha. So we have to make use of the chance to take more grps so that i we will have more to the collection instead of always using the same old one at esplanade top.. haha! And i will have more photos to play with... will probably change a bit to the blogskin.. Err.. when i have the mood and time (actually i have plenty). haha!

Ya... Original plan was settler's cafe... but in the end we left the place after sitting on their comfy sofa for quite a while.. before realising that we didn't want anything from there anymore.. cos of all the restrictions that they have on a weekend. so we left lor. Then thought of where to go and came across this Old Hong Kong Cafe just across the street. And since they are able to accommodate 11 of us tgt... we went in... and wow! Ordered quite a lot of dim sum. and shared among 6 ppl... And added up to ard $12 per person? which is quite reasonable lah.. thou i wasn't really full.. haha! But their food not bad lor. I dun rule out the possibility that i will go there again. (with some ppl that i dun need to pay hopefully?) haha.

Then walked over to parkway after err... at least an hour of photo taking session?! We cracked our heads to think of different ways to take all of us... an indeed took quite a no. lah.. thanks to the area outside the cafe... I think really A LOT of ppl looking at us lor.. cos got quite a no. of passerbys... and can see from inside the cafe also... and those that drove past? we were like playing ard.. posing.. standing, sitting, pressing the cam for auto shutter and everything... how tiring.. but good outcome ba. Think everyone's happy with those photos. haha!

Had nothing to do at parkway... some suggested arcade... so we went up while melody, horng, jan and qin went off... to meet ppl and home yada yada.. played time crisis 4 for a while.. super tiring lah.. and in the end still failed.. after at least 15min... haven't even finish stage1 lor! dotx. Then went to see other ppl play other games. saw this ahboy caught a Stitch soft-toy from the machine lor! damn zai lah. somemore is those big one... i think 3 times bigger than the one i have! So jealous lah.

Play until 7pm and 6 of us - yushi, siyih, ling, daijing, sylvia and i proceeded to kbox-ing while charmaine went home... hmm.. haven't sing with them for a long time... and since we have nothing else to do.. so went lor... 3h of yada yada... I think i haven't had enough... but anyways i will be going again i think. Haix. Kbox is a waste of money!! But i think i like. haha. =x Ok lah... next time i sing at home. lol.

Afterall.. i really hope that i can meet my close friends or considerably close friends more often lah... haven't seen my nyco ppl for a long time... and i dun think will be anytime soon? I'll try my best. haha. as for the rss ppl... i think i have to forget it for a short period of time.. cos it really takes a lot of time and energy to get it going... and really! difficult lah.

Anyway... all practices are starting next week onwards so... i think i got to start looking at the scores... that includes SYCO and MCO... and also prepare myself for the HK camp. :)))

I think it's time to go.. thou it isn't very late now.. like 1.08am.. but surprisingly everyone's asleep already! Including er-jie lor. cos she's home early today. for dinner somemore. how surprise... it's a long time since the family sat down at the dining table for a meal tgt... Hope that will happen more often. :) (although i hope.. but i dun think so lor. =x)

Transformers!

Just came back from lunch! :) Kway Chap at 85market. heex.


Anyway... i rmb i'm supposed to post this...



The movie was a awesome one for an action pack... Hmm... i think the transforming process... like how amazing! Although Transformers is not something of my era... i'm amazed by it... The effects and everything is so cool... Plus a little of jokes here and there. But still cos of mindset and impression.. it's still not my fav movie so far. And i'm not a Transformers fan... just that in objective point of view. it's good. What more can i ask for when i watched it for $7? haha! Ok lah.. i think it's worth even if it's $8.... for all the effect u can get in a cinema... not to mention that i watched it in a rather cheapo cinema. and at that unearthly hour. haha!

Been watching movies quite frequently lately yea... 5 movies in June! haha. pls dun think that i'm rich... but it's definitely cheaper than shopping cos i spent $30+ just buying one item.. in that short period of time. haha!

Ok.. i'm not as addicted to blogging as minhui.. haha!!! But have to admit that i'm blogging more nowadays. probably due to the fact that i dun have anything else to do.. so i'll just blog with whatever ideas and feelings that come to me. haha. Try it! :)

Going to Town + Late Nights

I know.. haven't been updating these 2/3 days... basically i'm quite busy while mum is away for a holiday at Batam... haha!

Tues was Kbox with Chek and Von at cine (again)... A rather fun day ba... Should be going again some time soon.. haha! But the room was super cold and that woman snatched my jacket away... cos she was wearing a tube and shorts. Dotx. ‘用膝盖想也知道’go kbox shouldn't wear like that lah. but then she going her school's farewell after that... haix. poor thing. last time seeing that school liao - UNSW Asia. haha!! =x

Then wed went out with Ling to buy Siyih's present at town (AGAIN)... oh... finally we got something and hope she will like it. :)) If not.. err.. we also dunno what to do. haha! But really hope she will like lah... cos i quite like also. haha.

Then thurs went to do my hair... eh.. pictures up i think next entry... haven't upload yet. haha! But it was quite funny the next day cos i dun think i can recognise myself in the mirror the next morning. haha! i mean... i actually laughed at myself lah. So stupid. haha.


And so i met up with Kim and Chek with their beaus for dinner at Fish Mahattan @ PS (Town - AGAIN!!!) while Von was super late cos of her pre-departure talk.. Anyway... It was really a super full dinner lah... and it started with the 3 of us exchanging presents after ordering. haha! I think the guys were quite shock that all 3 have gifts for each other. What to do.. 3 of us are june babies. haha.

After the super full dinner... Von still haven't reach lor... so we decided to leave the place and went to Starbucks. Finally she came.... with her 'rain'. Dunno how to describe their relationship. haha! But whatever... had some very funny chats and finally lifted our butt to get home at 11pm. Thought quite a lot but wouldn't say here anyway. haha.

Then fri was some lousy day... haha.. cos i went to tamp in the aftn... bought some stuff... including JJ's album!!! haha! then came back ard evening... and then went tamp again.. then back to bedok again! I dun even know what i was doing at tamp at night.. i already had dinner so i watch sylvia and yushi eat... then after a while come back bedok liao! so dotx right.. cos we wanted to catch a movie lah.. but Transformers at tamp are all full liao... so we ended up Bedok Princess watching the show starting at 11.30pm. I think my first time for mid-night show ba... Review for the movie will be up later... when i get my hands on their poster. can't seem to save any. dotx.

By the time the movie ended.. it was 1.30am. Luckily at bedok lah.. can walk home still.. haha. BUT when i got to my block's void-deck... there's this black cat staring at me while i was walking to the lift. It was sitting on the fire extinguisher thing... then it stood up to the going-to-fight position when i tried to walk further down. DOTX. then i was shocked lah... i moved back and the cat came down... still staring at me.. then wherever i move to.. it will follow me.. still with the stare... finally there's another cat ard and while the black cat was rubbing against the other cat... i ran my way into the lift. PHEW. haha.

And today. Again another day out! Shopping with Sylvia and Melody after bringing Selvie (my cousin from Indonesia) to British council at tamp to register for english class.. i can only say that her father is really rich. cos the course is really ex. haha! So i met them after that (3+pm) and dined at Azabu Sabo at MS... i only had dessert lah.. cos i already had lunch. then continued our trip... to here and there... Sylvia got a wallet at Raffles City.. which she was very happy abt... Then we proceeded to Orchard (AGAIN!!!!!)... Spent quite some time at Far East... everyone got something.. including me! I bought a pair of jeans since i'm running out of fitting jeans to wear.. So i'm happy too! :) And we settled Melody's present too! how good. haha.

It was already 10pm when we realised cos of the closing bell in Taka.. haha... head towards heeren and yeah.. the shop still opened... got new stocks leh.. think i will go down another day... :) i have all the time in the world lah...

Conclusion for the week... i only went to either town or tamp.. mostly town cos i went there EVERYDAY except for friday. haha! Dun think i ever went to town SO frequently ba... haha.. And I was home late EVERYDAY since wed. =P I will be happy if that's my normal freedom. but i dun think i can enjoy it forever lah.. cos mum should be coming back soon.. on wed. haix. there goes.

Ok... Photos another day.... Tired liao... And most probably not tmr unless i have time in the morning cos i'm meeting the beloved again! And this time with horng! Hopefully the full attendance so we can take another full grp photo! :))) Yeah yeah. i'm so excited. haha!

Been listening to S.H.E's album lately... and felt that this album's songs are all not bad... All the songs are very easy to catch... and i think they are putting a very interesting concept into this album. Personally thinks that 借口 is very cute. Obviously the title is the same as Jay Chou's song... and the song detail says it takes sampling from Jay's 听妈妈的话. And in the lyrics contains many of Jay's songs titles. It's quite amazing how the lyricist put the titles inside... although some doesn't make any sense lah.. haha!!

Ocean's Thirteen

I'm like so into movies nowadays... so i went to catch this with yvonne chia cos there isn't any other interesting movies ard yet... Been hearing a lot abt the movie.. negatively. But well... I guess it was quite good in my point of view.... Cos i nv know what the whole Ocean's thing is about until i watched this movie. Haha! Now the show..

Ocean's thirteen is quite funny/humorous in the way they joke... and the jokes made out of whatever.. There's a lot of planning... esp. at the starting cos they talked abt the plan from day till and what not. There's a lot of scam involved... a lot of planting ppl into the casino.. a lot of bribing going on... Quite interesting in a sense.. Like how Danny Ocean (by George Clooney) and Rusty Ryan (by Brad Pitt) read each other's mind.. How they make everything work... esp. the Five Diamond auditor part. That was a total scam. lol. It's amazing that everything just worked according to their plan... except for the strike part which they ran out of capital.. Otherwise there wasn't really any emergency..

Eh.. At least i understand the whole plot of the movie lah. And Brad it quite cool. haha!!! Oh... so isn't Brad what the whole movie is abt? Oopx. i think i got it wrong. Dun worry... George Clooney is cool too. Wittyness rules alright. So.. i'll consider watching Ocean's eleven and twelve... since i reckon that they would be individual stories thou they are in sequel.. Ok lah... quite all right to watch it on a weekday. haha! And half of the time it was rather funny. so well. extra cash and extra time to spare.. watch it. (note: i'm not in the 'extra cash' category... i only have abundance time. haha)

Sentosa and Ice-skating.

Finally i'm back in a piece... lol! After going to 2 places with extreme temp... i'm quite worried abt coming back safely... luckily i made it home ytd. so that i can still come blog today. haha!


Ytd went out with a few SYCO ppl.. Eh.. there were supposedly a lot of ppl.. but i dunno what happened in the end.. it started with only 3 ppl in the morning.. the bedok-ers. Haha! Then gradually a few more came to join. Supposed to meet at 9am. I was smart to ask sylvia not to meet so early... thus we were a bit late and met jindong at outram on the way to NEL. So the 3 of us were the earliest with no one else in sight at the mrt. so we waited while contacting ppl. Oh finally Junhe came ard 10... just as we were abt to eat at BK. Another hour later... Junyuan arrived and we actually bluff him that we are going home already. haha. After much discussion and whatever, we still proceeded to SENTOSA.


Then Joel came. And we told him that we nearly went to ice-skate.. and it would be a wasted trip for him. Who knows he's very agreeable with the ice-skate idea.. so they decided to stay just another while at sentosa so as not to waste the $3 entrance fee. lol. so played with water for a while... and junyuan was the only one who went fully into the water while the rest of us were only into the water until the knee level. haha! So wash up a bit and went back to Vivo to meet Keryih... asked him not to go into sentosa since we wun be staying long. and he decided to go donate blood.


So we proceeded to our next venue.. the ICE-SKATING place at jurong. And guess what.. the 2 newbies to ice-skating - sylvia and i am wearing berms that doesn't cover the knee... DOTX. Ok... And i said clearly... as long as the knees doesn't touch the ground/ice. it should be all right. And thanks to my jinxed mouth... I had a (great) fall not long after we started. dotx. Luckily i was holding on to the metal pole thing... But my knees landed on the ice and moved forward abit and thus.. scratched... And joel came to my rescue.. haha!!! Somemore say my shoelaces too lose.. but obviously i couldn't bend down to do it lah. so he was very nice to help me tie... meanwhile i was bearing the pain on my knees. Then... cannot waste the money like that. fall already still cannot skate right. so must hang on... and i went a few more rounds on my own slowly and without the pole.. Eh... Still not very stable but at least i've made progress.. haha! Later sylvia also had a fall but on her butt. haha! Ok... the only 2 girls for the day and the only 2 first-timers both fell... All the 5 guys were quite good at it.. Even thou it was jindong's first time too but he can blade.. so it just takes a bit of time. Argh!


But then.. ok lah.. i considered it fun... I would consider going again. Eh... that is if it's going to be a less crowd day cos all the fast skaters on the ice floor makes me nervous and not willing to get down there and get out into the rounds. lol. Ok.. i'm lousy. But think. i've never been to the west side with my friends during my primary school days.. and i wasn't so brave that time so i didn't learn skating, blading.. i only know how to cycle at P4 lah!! Dotx. So i wasn't so bad after all... cos i'm braver to welcome the challenges in front of me now! haha.



Anyway... After that was some walking ard at IMM cos it was still early while the rest went home except for joel who went to study with his friends and junhe... er.. dunno he went home first or meet his friends directly. Took the shuttle bus to clementi and we went Ke Ai Ji for dinner! Yeah!! Finally back to that coffee shop.. haven't been there eating my fav fried chicken wings rice since nusco concert day. Heex. Ok.. Despite the injured and a little bleeding knees... we were still walking and standing most of the time. and had to stand half of the mrt trip as well. Finally got home ard 8pm to watch 金曲奖 again with Sylvia... cos she missed it last week. It was super long lah... and exceeded the planned time to more than 3 and half hours long. Had difficulty sleeping with the wound with some coverage so that wun stain my bed if there's any blood. Luckily there wasn't much deep scratch... if not i would have died while bathing and applying cream. lol!!!


Ok! I considered it an enjoyable day... minus the last min pangseh-ers and the fall... and the sudden change in activity. But er.. nv take photo.. except for this when i got home...



wah liao... will take how long to heal leh? Is quite pain de lor. left leg also got a big patch of scratch also lor.. not that visible cos it didn't bleed. heng ah.. But even so... it's still like blue-black like that lor. Sianx!

And this morning... woke up with a super ached right arm.. Due to the many times i had to quickly hold on to the wall tightly to prevent me from slipping off. haha!!! So thanks to junyuan for the suggestion... the rest for agreeing... and the skates for making me fall and the ice for making me slip... and whatever and whoever. haha! I think they were rather shocked to see my a-bit-bloody knee when i sat down to rest. haha!

Anyway! Tmr schools reopen le!! Not that it's part of my business... but it means lesser ppl on the streets if i were to go out? Hopefully! Heex. To those having exams after hols (the jc ppl)... Good luck for all ur papers. and to the sec school students. Hopefully they have finished their homework.. Which i doubt so becos i've nv finish mine during the hols anyway. haha! Enjoy School! I miss school. dotx. So to the rest. continue to slack like me. sianx!!!

Will be transferring my desktop stuff to my laptop these few days anyway... so as to prepare for the new one to come. haha! Have seriously decided to get a new one. Haix. Ran out of money since i'm in debt already. i hope weiling doesn't come after me with a chopper since she willingly helped me pay for my contact lens first. haha! i think i have to get my dad to pay for me. =x Argh.. feels bad spending my parents' money... and i think my mum have to pay for my cpu. haix.

Thinking of the past.

Other than visiting weiling at her shop today... eye test and blah blah blah.. and ordered my contacts... finally... i did nothing else. except for slacking and nuaing and watching tv. Ok lah. i helped my mother hang the laundry and make my own bed cos dad went for his schedule check-up... sianx.

When i'm at home or alone... i tend to think a lot... abt the past.. abt my future... abt everything. the thoughts came so randomly... like esp. those that i dun want to think of and dun want to be reminded of.

Usually a little happy incident comes first... followed by all the regrets and whatever bad things u can think of... Like yucks and why should i be reminded of all those stuff! If only i could forget everything cos anyway they are all histories... over already what. what's the point of thinking and thinking again..

Thought about school, friends, cca and every other thing... esp. when i just met up with jiewan the other day.. and looking at all the old photos... i should burn them man... lol.

COcamp - reminiscences

Finally updating.. somemore with my desktop.. i've learnt my lesson.. must guai guai off desktop every day if i want to use it everyday!!! HAix. OK. i will buy a new one soon. so can 24/7 again. haha! If not my dear mother kept on complaining... and anyway GST going up soon yea.. so before June ends kae. Heex.

Went to CO moe end-of-camp concert today (21jun, thurs)... Erm.. cannot say they are very bad.. also cannot say they are very good... average lor. like any other normal secondary school standard... can't expect too much from them lah. But best song should be 难忘的泼水节 ba... cos it's not really an easy song... so have to practise more and thus better. plus it's the first song played. luckily i didn't miss cos i was rather late. haha! "We are Singapore", i still like it when we played in National Indoor Stadium. Heex! :) Aiya.. maybe cos Dr Ku can't interpret the song well since he's not Singaporean anyway. BUT the song was conducted by Maestro Yeh during mega concert right.. Hmm... Haha. Anyway, other than that... the best is the erhu PP ba... got so many solo parts! haha!!!

However, it reminds me of my year's cocamp lah.. which was 2002. haha! It's really a super memoriable period of time. had lotsa fun with the rest of the campers!! And that's when i really got to know the few marists...

These are all the SAC campers in the camp shirt (which was the only bad thing abt the camp). From left: melody(zh), me(gh), weiling(lq), charmaine(eh), englee(zsheng), sylvia(eh), honghan(zsuo) and pearl (yq) who left early. And the 3 guys: Our conductor for that year - Mr Lum!, GH and ZH instructor - Mr Low, Cello instructor - Mr Lee. So practically our CO leaders threw the orchestra away during the whole period cos all the head and vice-heads and the secretary and the SLs are at camp. lol.


And the above picture shows most of the female campers... a lot are very cool ppl. The overall in charge from CCAB is also in the pic. Ms Lim Jiuan. :) Anyway i think the SAC girls and NYGH girls made up most of the girls in the pic lah. haha. And COcamp is where i got to know those NYGH girls. :)

That was really a fun year.. the whole team is so 'on' we had gathered ard for at least twice... and thereafter still chats on IRC almost everyday. Erm.. ya.. still IRC at that time. haha. Like that was the most wonderful year with a strength of 100students/performers/campers leh! so cool right. only 71 this year.. *yawns* =x That's when i got closer to ken, jon, ds, weixiang too... alvin was too quiet so i can only say that i know of his existence... maybe he isn't that quiet.. but comparatively to ken and jon and weixiang. he's like nothing in talking. lol. sorry to the 3 guys. i bet ken is going to 'wei' me if i say this to him. haha!

I think that's what made me want to go back the next year again even thou i was sec4 the next year. And i got in! And the instructor for that year was Huang ls! But in the still didn't go lah cos of SARS. dotx. i still got A1 for my Chinese Os what. dun let me go. tsk. dun say le. but maybe it's a good thing so that my memories stop at the wonderful cocamp2002. right?! :))

All in all.. I MISS COCAMP2002!!! Miss the songs too.. cos i've nv 南岛晨曲 and 赞家乡 ever since... and not our version of 送我一枝玫瑰花 as well.. then it was only until this year that i heard 欢乐的淮北 again. cos i was performing on-stage with SPCO and with erhu. lol.

Anyway.. nothing else to say le. just wanna say i miss that time! And the ppl as well. :)

金曲奖 & Buffet Outing

Realised that lately i have the tendency of blogging a few time a day and stop for a few days before blogging a few posts at a time again. haha! Well... sometimes things just come to the mind what.

Anyway... The weekend was much enjoyed... or rather.. it was only sunday. cos sat i slacked at home like dunno what. haha! Mayba i decided not to go out cos i HAVE to catch 第十八届金曲奖颁奖典礼 that evening... :)) So i didn't have anything else in mind. Anyways... the results of the awards ceremony.. some were rather expect and some are really out of expectations! And!! So sad my JJ didn't get the award for Best Male Singer. sad. Nonetheless! Ytd when i returned home.. tv was showing this after ceremony concert and JJ gets to sing 2 songs while many others only performed 1... And he sang 2 new songs. 杀手&西界. Yeah!! :))) Erm... nvm abt the award. At least his new album is going to be realeased ard the end of the month! Heex.

Then Ytd (170607)... went out for suki sushi buffet and some shopping with sylvia and melody. Oh... finally the 3 of us are out tgt again. Had a very hearty breakfast cum lunch cum dinner for me... that's the meal of the day! lol. Then shopped ard lor... this sylvia gets tired very easily lor... she was so tired she went to sit at BK while melody and i continued to shop at action city for some gifts. Surprisingly i bought quite a no. of things back! A bracelet from Perlini's and got a rather cute free pendant! haha. cos it's the new opening of the PS Perlini. Then a pair of shades, a hp accessory from handicraft and the bag from bugis street. haha! Finally... and the person is really nice! if u are in need of INK bags... go to that store. :) And gotten a few gifts for my friends bday too... 2 bracelets from Perlini and something from Action City for a long overdued bday. haha! =x

After that was dessert at 85market. Yeah! i got to eat my fav tadpole longan! Heex. Got home and watched tv for a while.. erm abt 2h. haha! Actually wanted to go and sleep liao.. but sis came back and i played her DS until like 4am. cos no batt already. lol! That results in the late morning today. and i'm still very tired. Haix!

Anyway nothing liao lor. Meeting up with more friends soon! Yeah!!! :)))

NUSCO Bbq!

Hmm.... with the many boring days that went passed... finally there's one FUN night with the nusco peeps.. Bbq at Peiying's house... which is all the way at Bukit Batok... haha!

Met peiying, joyce and hweeming earlier in the aftn since i had nothing to do... erm... but i was still late...due to the irritating burns... and cos the dark dark layer of skin decided to start peeling today... i had much more to do.. haha!!! So still met them at IMM and cabbed back to peiying's house... since i dunno how to go also.. haha!

So we prepared some stuff while waiting for the others to come... Yuhui started the fire.. it was her first time and she succeed at one try! WOW. So yea... the whole thing carried on smoothly... thou the area was super crowded cos all the bbq pits were occupied.. So had some nice chats with ppl now and then... cracked some stupid jokes... and prepared some food too.. the fish.. and the crabstick cheese... but after that was too lazy to do more.. haha!!!

Finally met up with some long-time-nv-see ppl there... some like ever since the concert.. which was abt more than 3 months ago.. Like Andrew, Eric, Nianzhong, Yuhui, Helen, Kevin.. erm... but saw kevin at Sakae the last time we met for Kbox.. just that he was with his grp of friends instead.. Hmm.. anyway... Good time... always have lotsa laughter and blah blah blah... all the craps and coldness and whatever.. (i dun mean the drink). So in the end Royston went to pick sis and i back. :) And Peiying actually treated us to the whole thing.. like omg! All i could say is that they are really very nice ppl... Cos in the first place she didn't invite us over.. we just say that we should go over for a bbq before she flies to USA for further studies... and now she refused to take our money...

Hmm... anyways.. hope to see them again soon! :)))

MSN/Online

Suddenly thought and decided to blog abt this... have any one ever wondered why we need so many ppl on our msn list??? There's 57 ppl online now as seen in the picture... out of the 200+ contacts i have... half of the population i think nv ever comes online regularly... and some disappeared for a long long time... And some actually already deleted my contact from their list... dotx.

Anyhows.. out of the so many.. i was only chatting with on of them.. and now 2... lol. how interesting... actually the rest of the time i'm usually talking to no one unless someone talks to me... or when i have actually something to ask... and when some friends decide to mass conv also... like SYCO ppl lately... if not. i dun think i will talk to any of them! cos i dunno what to talk abt also!!

So actually there isn't a need to come online at all right? Haha.. how dumb.

12 June - Just another day for everyone.

If u are wondering what happened on my bday.. (that is if u wonder)... well... maybe no one wonders.. hmm... u can read on.. if not proceed to the previous on maybe the more exciting fantastic 4. haha!

Anyway.. nothing was really interesting... it's just another day becos i woke up like any other day... having no goals for the day just like any other days... watched tv for the whole morning just like any other day.. Maybe i should start getting some friends.. but i thought i had friends. But nvm. i still got to get out of the house in the aftn. Main purpose was to pass caiwen her assignments that i collect for her on mon... then the minor purpose was to go queue for the donut @ Raffles' Donut Factory... i dunno whether it's meaningful to do it on such a day. i thought i just have to enjoy eating and not queueing. It was so boring that we eventually talked to the grp of 3 girls behind us.. What a way to make friends. so we were all grumbling tgt... esp. abt the ppl just in front of us.. Whatever it it... 3h was gone just like that... By the time we got our 2 dozens of donut each... it was already 6.30pm.. Great! The day was almost gone!

Then we split our way at the mrt station. i went all the way back to tamp to meet my family. Luckily er-jie was kind enough to call me in the aftn and said she's going to treat me! Actually to lunch.. but i thought i was going out earlier. so we didn't and it was changed to dinner. And actually i didn't go out until 2+pm. cos the original plan was to go out at 12pm. BUT the usual caiwen... so plan was postponed a bit. haha. So ya.. Just dined at Cafe Cartel and back to home. And there goes the whole day! And thanks my mum actually forgot that day was 12th. dotx. my mum.

Actually i'm quite good at writing stories! cos the very few things that happened can be elaborated (lor-so-ed) to such a long thing. Simply put it.. it's just: Queueing for the donut for 3h from 3.30pm to 6.30pm and Dinner with family at Cafe Cartel. Easy.

Haha. what an 'exciting' day. indeed memorable.. for some reason that is for me to know and perhaps for u to find out.

But well.. Thanks to those who still rmb and sms-ed... Kimberly, Yvonne who called and sms, Suken, Yuhui, Weiye, Sylvia, Qin, Siyih, Huimin, Chek (Happy Birthday too! Belated now.), Xiuping, Zhongming, Kenneth, Yirong, Charmane, Jiamin, FangYu, Andrew, Royston (my sis' bf), Jane, Edwin and Weiling... and those who wished me on msn... Yulong, jiayan, Minhui, Wenguang, Jiaqi, Eric, Huirong, Delia, Michelle, Emily and Yushi who was strictly-to-say 2days late.. And the rest of various methods.. Jan, Rachel, Dejah, Jolie, Jon Ngeow and Xiangle who was super early. Sorry if i missed out anyone cos harder to track on msn.. =x

Maybe the most interesting one was Andrew wished me happy 21st!! Then i told him that's for next year. haha! Well.. i really do appreciate the effort that ppl takes to rmb one's birthday becos i do make an effort too... and i do hope ppl appreciate my effort by doing the same thing too! :)

Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer

Went to watch this ytd with Via in the evening... i rushed all the way to marina sq.. haha.
To our surprise... first the movie started shortly after the printed hour... and the show ended less than one and half hour later... it's like a length of those animated movies (cartoon)! And that's like quite short! Anyway.. abt the movie itself... the story line and happenings are kinda predictable and such... so what matters the most should be the effects.. the sound and action. But well.. i didn't expect more than that... so overall it's all right.. hmm.. the good point maybe is that the scenes are quite exciting that u hold ur breath when something is so close... Oh! Poor thing the silver surfer din even have the chance to show his face. tsk tsk. but all the silverish things are cool. haha. Still.. enjoyed the experience. Afterall.. there's all the cinema effect for the show that is not easy to get at home.

After that since it was still early... went to walk ard and YEAH~ I got a pair of slippers heels from NOVO... Haha.. Finally got another pair... if not it's really boring with only one pair of those.. (the one from U.R.S).. Well well.. i just got to say that NOVO is really one of my fav shoes store. haha.

Anyhows... someone objected to me buying the birkenstock slippers. dotx.

Year 1 Results out!

I think i haven't mentioned this... But i've got my year 1 results by post.. like finally!

However, I was quite disappointed to see the results lah... None was up to my expectations!!! Haix. And my presentation marks are really... not good.. esp. for the last few... Cos i went school to get back all my assessments and assignments forms... But we still didn't get to know the marks for the arts management interview report... and i dunno why. that's like last sem's stuff... hmm.

Anyway... it was enough to let me strike off that line from my wishlist... But ARGH! i must work harder to pull up my grades for the next 2 years... so that i can get a decent honours deg... That's MY aim. i dun want just a bachelor. ahhh.... That should be my biggest goal for now ba! :)

Dunno if can see... but nothing great also lah. haha!!! That's for year 1.. HOPE WILL BE BETTER for Year 2 and 3! :) JIAYOU! :D

Anyway i wonder how many ppl will actually turn up for the farewell @ Goodman. Hmm... perhaps i will just go down and take a look be4 deciding to stay or what.. but since i agreed to go in the first place.. i should at least make my appearance. But i hope it's not as bad as what i expect. :)

Celebration for Qin and I

Sun went out with the dearest... and yeah! Everyone was there. erm.. except for horng.. haix. but nv take grp photo.. cos forgot.. i guess we were too occupied with talking and talking and talking. haha!


Anyways... we went to Hong Kong Kim Gary at Vivo.. (yes.. i was at vivo area for the weekend).. erm.. the food.. ok ba... but i find it a little salty for me... but the milk tea is nice. haha! But for the price quite ok lah... Perhaps... i will go back there again... but i want to try other food there also. :)


Before we left... open the presents.. YEah.. i did it in abt a min! haha. cos nv wrap... which is good! haha... so qin took a while to get all her present out... lol. Poor qinqin. =P Anyway.. i like the wallet.. Thanks a lot. Luckily the very-ma-fan me had told my friends what things to look out for when buying wallets. haha! =P Thank you! And i hope qin likes hers too.. thou i wasn't the one who went to buy. but i think the watch is nice! :))


Cos we are in such a big grp... and can't decide where to go and play... we erm... decided on jan's house. heex! Went giant get some fruits and tibits and juice. and off we went. to have some chocolate fondue. :) Finally get our butts out of her house ard 10pm. Thanks to jan's parents for the hospitality towards us. Heex!

Was busy adding labels to the 300+ posts... and didn't have time to update... and well... i'm not done with the business yet... but i thought if i continue to keep adding labels... i'll nv get to update soon... cos it takes time to go thru the whole post and decide what label it should come under. haha!


Anyway!!!! I had a very wonderful weekend... Talk abt Sentosa on sat first ba.. Erm... As usual, knowing that ppl will be late for the meeting time. i didn't make much an effort to get there in time. So i was slightly late.. with 3 (keryih, zixin & kuncherng) already reached... while 3 others (minhui, junhe & jojo) were later... haha!!! Thus 7 of us. err.. ok. the sua gu was first time on monorail to sentosa. lol. Then Junyuan came later... After playing volley with a not fully pumped volleyb... the guys decided to go into water... while the girls resisted.. haha! not that i didn't bring extra clothes but i fear the dirty water. haha! Got ourselves some drinks while jojo left for his pai lian... and we went to 'Terabithia' after that... lol. look at the sea and take pictures for a while... went back and played caption's ball for a while.. the weather is really hot!!! Finally we decided to leave so went to bathe and change... And realised that i'm burnt... badly esp. the neck area... It's still very red now! after 2 days. Joel came to find us while we were grabbing bites at Koufu. Went back to vivo after that... walked ard... Saw Jolie and tingkai doing their cip! haha! Went Pastamania for dinner over at harbour front centre... after that was a series of photos before we actually decided to move on to home! And there's this staff at the mrt there who said 'u all finally decided to move' when we were entering the gates... like what's her problem with us talking there? it's like none of her business right? weirdo. Anyways... now the photos. lazy to put one by one... so photoshop. haha! And too many photos.. cannot fit in all... for more photos... go to minhui's blog. haha.
