Let's continue from where i left off, starting off with new numbers. haha.
1. Company Christmas event
It was quite a simple affair but good enough i guess. It's just a session of gift exchange and then a high tea buffet at Carousel. However, it was really a good time to do some bonding. haha! Gotten a eye mask from my colleague from the secret santa game, which is useful! woohoo! :D And i bought a headphone for my santee... but he didn't open the present on the spot, and he didn't tell me anything after that... actually i scared he dun use it/doesn't like it.. but ya it's over! haha.
2. Genting getaway
It was really great to have a little get away once in a while. Although it's just 4 of us, but i think we had our fun too. Bus ride there and back was mostly sleep for me obviously. haha! And the Transtar bus is really not bad! Bus trip generally for me is sleep and more sleep. hahaha!
Stayed in the Theme park hotel, yes, right next to the outdoor theme park. First day was a walk-around. Visited all the shops available... haha. really a lot of time hor.. Visited the casino too, for the first time. Hmm.... no, it's not so much of a place for me. haha!
Anyway 2nd day was designated for theme park! :D But quite suay, it kept on raining, the heavy pour kind. So in the end we didn't really play everything there. But ok lah... some just got longer queue that's all. It was even raining at night when we decided to go back for some more rides. hmm.. still manage to finish most of what we wanted. So fine lor. I told horng that it's ok, when there's regret then we will return again. hahaha!
Last day was a nua day while we checked out and just wait for time to pass to get on our bus back to sg.
Yup, i really appreciated this little getaway. Thanks girls :)
3. Christmas
Christmas weekend was a big thing itself man. hahaha! So we will do it in parts. I'm glad though.. that i spent it with a few grps of ppl so dear. :)
a. Eve - Zoo outing with SYGGG
Our first ever outing like that. But the time we spent there was really short. Zoo closes too early. Haha. And it rained halfway through. :( We should go again!
Still, we had our gift exchange, i guess some ppl still do not know who bought the gift they got. hahah.
Yup. i bought that. so if any day daryl happens to see this. LOL.
b. Christmas Day
It was spent at Uncle Yeo's place. Like woohoo. We all are dying to go there on christmas. Cos they always have good food and wine! I can't really rmb what i did. Mostly was just talking and sitting ard and watch tv and eat and talk more. hahaha. A very simple one but was spent with my family and family friends. It's good enough. :)
c. Boxing Day
2 grps of very fun friends.
Met up with NUSCO FSC ppl first at huiyan's place. Finally get to learn how to play 三国杀. It was quite fun actually. Interesting kind of game i will like. A bit strategic, a bit intellectual. Just that all the game rules are in Chinese since it's a chinese game. So the only hard part. haha. Not that my chinese is lousy, but a lot of processing time is needed for game instructions like that. And our first game took damn long, like 3hours!!! Think cos too many ppl plus too many beginners (including myself). So the game went on for that long. haha.
Anyway still had present exchange and i got a pouch from muji! Not bad eh. :D Couldn't stay for dinner cos dinner was with the Beloveds.
And so, i was a bit late for dinner. And all the gifts were given out and i'm left with little choices. But still got to choose, better than someone who was even later and someone who didn't come. lol! But a pity for the full attendance though. Too bad, it's just not our fate. But dinner was good and filling. Of cos lah. it's jap buffet. And then photo taking! :)))
4. MBS for Birthdays
For the 2 birthday boys born on the same day, different year. Quite a cool place to go to. Nice view and all. A pity i didn't get to go up to the skypark. But it's ok, there are always chances. A cosy suite for close friends to come gather. :)
The party was quite short for me cos i have to get home anyhows. Haven't packed anything for the camp next day and i didn't want to go with all the atas clothes and whatever unnecessary. So have to go home. And guess what, slept ard 3am and have to wake up at 6? Luckily i did! Someone didn't. LOL
5. SYCO Adventure Camp
Overall was good. I'm quite amazed that i actually tried EVERYTHING for the high element activities.. that alone is a challenge for me, considering that i'm scared of heights to a certain extend. And the only thing i failed was rock climbing, my arms totally no strength to pull myself up sia. The rest was quite exciting actually! heh.
Night time was quite epic. but nvm. dun feel like talking abt that. haha! It just shows we are sporty ppl. hahah!
Then... 2nd day. our innovated raft failed. Damn sad leh... overlook the nitty gritty details. But it's ok! We tried our best. hahaha.
1 night is nv enough for the sy ppl. hahah! We all didn't have enough fun i guess? But it's all still enjoyable yea?
6. Countdown!
It's like one of the best countdowns i've gone to. Most unforgettable still the one at chalet with my beloveds. Came out to town to countdown, watch fireworks and then running through the crowd to get train back to pasir ris and then walking back to chalet from int. All of us doing that tgt. In nua t-shirt, shorts and slippers. Haha. That was a few years back...
This time, didn't do much, just meet up with a few beloveds, sit along the waterfront and wait for the countdown to come. We are kinda lucky to meet the family sitting in front of us. And we got the best view u can find. Fireworks are right in front of us. We dun even have to stand up! But it was all good!! Then it was just killing time until movie time!
Watched The Tourist. Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie quite weird a pair i know, but that's the point abt the whole show. haha. A little twist that i didn't really expect until he scene he wanted to reveal the code. Yup. A good show for leisure. Not too heavy. But not the most fantastic one lah. LOL!
Omg omg omg i finally finished on my DEC 2010 entry. And u know what... Jan and Feb have passed. HAHA! =x
