SYCO party

Oh... i slacked like the whole aftn... be4 and after lunch... i'm like super tired...

Ytd was a fun day... the whole day!! after having brunch with my 2 sisters at BK... i set off to SCH... to take the company coach to Bukit Batok home for the aged for our caring series performance... (I'm caring!!! heex) Ok... so we reached there around 1pm lor... and then started on the sound check and everything... then ard 1.30 the old folks started coming into the canteen cum hall... and we even helped to distribute the coffee and bread... until it's time to go upstage... and started with 2 combine songs.. erm... mu yang qu... laoshi gave the wrong upbeat... we all stunned... but thanks to william.. with a loud accompaniment that allows us to go into it... erm.. if u understand what i mean.. if not.. Nvm. haha. Then in between was a few solo songs.. by nicholas (guzheng), jon ngeow(ruan), qinglun & jon tan (dizi duet) and william (yangqin).. The performance ended with a bang by a rather fast speed chan mali chan.. =)

So we returned to SCH in the company coach and from there... about 10 of us proceeded to junru's house for the party for mr quek... we were there quite early lah.. so ngeow, jessly, yonghong, yuanyang, jiamin, jon tan and i went to eat at a nearby coffee shop with junru's younger brother while michelle, william, qinglun and junru himself went bishan to get some drinks and food... then after that back to the house and watched tv.. was like quite tired liao... and realised it's almost time... haha... but the first batch only reached around 7.30 lor.. and they were supposed to meet at 6.30 at amk.. haha.. so we were kinda forced to start preparing and all that liao... the happiest thing is to do the chocolate fondue thing... ngeow and i were one of the first to start the thing.. and it really took us a hard time digging out all the chocolates from its bag.. but it's cool to eat it when chocolate started flowing! =) 2nd was worse... my whole hand was covered with chocolate.. Haha.. quite gross.. but the chocolate flowing out is still as tempting as ever.. so i still ate.. Heex. =)

Anyway.. for the night... The attendance was surprisingly rather good... i mean... some unexpected faces appear too! erm... it's a good thing thou.. cos we always think that some ppl just doesn't mix with the rest... however.. some ppl still dun mix. haha.. sylvia was right.. i think it will be so much different to watch the SCO special alone... The ppl are just so high.. practically everyone left the bbq pit and find themselves a space in the living room to watch the sco special... thou they didn't really give syco credit... but some of the background music are played by us~!! Haha.. And mr quek arrived halfway thru the show.. and everyone cheered!! Then after the show ended... we had a surprise for mr quek.. includes the ice-cream cake... and the jigsaw puzzle using sy's grp photo.. and erhu section gave him a board with our photos and some msg.. cool.. But mr quek also gave us something in return.. a keychain for everyone! so nice of him.. =))

We had to end the bbq ard 11... and started packing up and ppl started to leave also... so did sylvia and i.. so we left with a few others... and the very kind tingkai send us home again in his father's lorry... this time drop us at bedok int.. good enough thou.. cos mrt stopped service by the time we left and reached amk... and bus24 too... last bus is 11pm.. so we hopped on to his lorry tgt with xiangle and it reached bedok fairly fast... so of cos we chatted thru the journey... was reminded that next year a lot of ppl wun be in sy... esp. in dizi section cos they are going into army... hmm.. kinda sad... i actually miss sy combine now... the interactions and all.. now sy ppl are all doing different things in name of sy... tainan ppl... hongkong camp ppl.. and caring series ppl ytd.. beautiful sunday still the whole sy.. but not everyone will be there... we just think that sy should plan for longer period in a year... more activities that includes the whole orchestra.. right??

Dunno how sy will be like next year.. with diff conductor.. diff ppl... hmm.. we'll see...

Anyway... tml.. is NOT the starting of sch.. cos like i've said... it's tues cos monday is empty... ok... quite good too.. still can do some preparation tml... and will be receiving something i bought online the other day.. quite cool.. first time.. =))

So today... like mentioned... slacked the whole day.. except for the morning.. i went jogging!! with er-jie and sylvia... i'm surprised by my own stamina since i haven run for quite some time... kinda reminded me of my morning runs back at nanyang... Oh man.. i really feel like going back to sch!! In uniform..! then no need to think of what to wear every morning... isn't it good?? why ppl dun like uniform? i like! Haha... ok... enough of crap... going off for now.. will be back soon.. =)
